Lovely car, just acquired one with the same engine/trans/AWD, but in all black with leather and such. It has under 60k miles and I can’t believe how high quality everything is. Extremely smooth to drive as well.

I bought one of these in Feb 77 and roadraced in the MRA in 78. I eventually did the following: - bored for GS850 pistons - worked great - smoothbore carbs - electronic ignition - Kerker exhaust - custom paint (like a CBX of that era) - upgraded suspension It was a great bike and I wish I'd never sold it. BTW, at least in the U.S. it did NOT come with double disk front brake in 77. I believe the 78 GS850 came with double disks and the bike in the video probably has the setup from an 850.

Very cool. I have a '78 GS750E and yes it is a lot fun to take on road trips. Kind of strange but no matter what me driving or riding I always seem to have oldest what ever on the road. After years of hunting I finally obtained an original Suzuki luggage rack and sissy bar for my old bike.

They sure changed a lot from 77 to 79! It could be because I have the 1979 GS750 750L. The seat area is way different. Cool Video!

If you're keeping the car outdoors keep an eye on the sunroof drains and cabin filter bracket. They're prone to leaks which can collect in the footwells and drown the TCM.

I have a '78 GS750E. Have painted the tank, side covers and tail section with new decals. Rebuilt the forks, all new brakes, 2 crabs replaced all rebuilt. Bike has 26K and just now in process of replacing tires I put on 30 years ago. Yes it is one hell of nice riding and powerful machine. Suzuki did it right when they built this bike. I simply love it.

Like my diesel 2005 TDI. Make sure your A/C works, though. It was a costly repair.

Interesting how the tank striping and colour scheme carried on from the GT750 2stroke into the GS750 4stroke. It's as if Suzuki didn't want to be too radical to begin with.

I got a 78' CB550 Four but i wouldnt mind a your 750 sir! A 78' KZ1000 would be the ultimate in my book.

I have one I brought new and mine doesn’t have two disks in the front and it has a round master brake cylinder in front, yours might be a 1978?I think mine is a B model. Just rode it today.
