Whoever downplays Big Mom just remember she was pregnant most of her life restricting her from training and enhancing his DF. I like to think that if that wasn’t the case she would be the strongest emperor not by crew but as an individual. As a child she have shown feats no other one piece characters have ever done like wiping out an entire giant village as a mere 5 year old. I don’t why I commented about this I just thought of it while watching the video.
I'm pretty sure all people looking through this has seen his video on law and how his devil fruit has the ability to make someone immortal at the price of the user's life. kaido is immortal, it's self-explanatory and how BB got WB's goru goru no mi powers, he could've had a piece fruit for the which the powers transported to under the black veil.

I disagree they were there to make sure one emperor didnt cause too much havoc not necessarily needed to fight him. I recall Akainu dogged WB 1v1 and the only good hit WB got was when Akainus back was turned. The other admirals vice admirals and sengoku were untouched lol

@@Felix-co4jh they were on the same crew 60 year ago on the God Valley incident, it prob took them a lot of time to gain their forces, for kaido I would said he became one 20-25 yesrs ago when he started plotting against wano he already had a big crew and after that he definitely was a yonko, for bigmom maybe the same? Depends of how long it took her to gave birth to her empire and let them grow to fight lol

Considering how strong you have to be to get to the end of the Grand Line I assume she's held that amount of power and influence for a while. As for being a yonko, it's entirely possible that title didn't come into play until after Roger's death. I don't believe we've seen anyone be called an emperor in the flashbacks to the previous era of pirates in One Piece, whether that's Roger, Whitebeard, Rockes or any of the other legendary figures during that time.

no single yonkos forces are even comparable to the forces of the world government, they are not even comparable to the marines alone, jsut look at MF, 2/3rds of the admirals were fucking around and the legendary Garp and Sengoku literally stood still the entire war against a yonko
When u think about it the admirals should have had Haki capable of hurting kaido if they were able to capture him why couldn't they kill him The explanation Oda gave alone is pretty to vague if u ask me as Luffy will still clash with akainu and akainu would surely have Haki on the same level of not a level higher than what Luffy would have and I'm guessing the Haki Luffy would use them would be on the same level as what he used against kaido so I'm pretty much lost Can u make a video on this tho

Don't get me wrong, Luffy is incredible and he's had the tenacity and strength of will to stick with it and conquer his way through, but his path was sort of laid out in front of him. Roger had no concept of pirate king in his era. He just eventually got to Lodestar Island and then learned there was a mysterious "final island" and that he needed to find four specific poneglyphs to find it. He then had to retrace most of the Grandline to find them eventually leading to Laugh Tale. Luffy on the other hand had his goal set in front of him with Roger's execution speech as well as Shanks' pushing and eventually encouragement. Luffy has received guidance from various Roger affiliates subtly directing his path the whole way. Shanks gave him a goal that focused his attention and the hat that would symbolize Roger's inherited will to anyone that knew Roger, Crocus told Luffy how the Grandline works and pointed him in the direction of Lodestar Island (though he did so by mentioning Laugh Tale), Rayleigh did a lot he coated the ship warned them how the New World works trained Luffy and helped the Strawhats escape after the two year timeskip, lastly Inuarashi and Nekomamushi explained the road poneglyphs and even told Luffy where three out of four are. The Roger pirates have had a hand in guiding most of Luffy's journey.

It means that you chased your own dream starting from square one and figuring things out as you go. Luffy did exactly this by literally starting his journey at sea alone in a small boat with no crew or clue of what he was doing. He chased being pirate king so he could be the most free man in the world, and he's been fumbling around ever since growing into a great pirate captain that now stands as an emperor. We see Luffy's journey not Roger's, so that's why you think Roger didn't have similar influences/help. But don't let our limited knowledge of him fool you. Oda made Roger and Luffy to be direct parallels with their defining feature being their ability to make people help them. Over the years we've learned that Oden and the Minks helped Roger find the One Piece and that Roger even went as far as to ask his rival, a MARINE, to raise his son. What will we learn about Roger over the next few years? It's clear that Roger is someone that would have received all the same kinds of help that you gave examples of Luffy getting because that's simply how Oda designed Roger to be. Getting help doesn't disqualify them from carving their own way. Yes, you can say Luffy was influenced by people like Shanks who gave him the straw hat, but Roger got his straw hat from someone too. Remember that. We just don't know who b/c Oda doesn't need us to know right now. But don't let our ignorance of Roger fool you into believing that certain defining moments never happened in his life to influence him. He didn't birth himself. He has an origin and a story just like Luffy does that has helped him carve his own path in the world.

What I'm saying is there is a difference between someone helping him figure stuff out and get stronger versus someone (multiple people really) that have already been there turning you by the shoulders and pointing you in the right direction. You mention the minks and Oden, however I would argue those examples actually support what I'm saying more. When Inuarashi and Nekomamushi sailed with Roger they were young and really didn't know anything to help guide him. Oden knew about poneglyphs and how to read them but not where the road poneglyphs were, Roger figured out what and where they were with the voice of all things. Not to mention Roger specifically sought out Oden AFTER reaching Lodestar Island and learning we needed the road poneglyphs to find Laugh Tale because he knew he needed someone that could read them. Alternatively after sailing with Roger, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi specifically told Luffy about road poneglyphs, and then told him where three out of four are. They essentially invalidated the purpose of Lodestar Island. Even if the fourth was moved from Fishman Island to Lodestar Island (which is just a shot in the dark, it could be anywhere), the effect is still lessened. Shanks, Crocus, and Rayleigh weren't so heavy handed with their guidance, but I still feel they were all pointing him towards the end goal. There wasn't anyone who had already done it to guide Roger, there was no concept of a pirate king before Roger and even what we've seen in Roger understanding Joyboy's poneglyphs they really didn't seem to guide anything save the road poneglyphs. Edit: Oh, one more thing, consider the following, it took Roger 30ish years from starting his pirate journey to becoming the pirate king, and that was with all the help and guidance you mentioned above. From the point Luffy is at right now it took Roger approximately one year to finish his journey and become pirate king. Luffy has been a pirate for 2 and a half - three-ish years (the timeline is wonky) and he's apparently only got one year left. If that even potentially since the search for three of the four road poneglyphs was removed. From 30 years to maybe 4. Sure sounds like Luffy got some heavy handed guidance to me.
I think Jack, Queen, and King is not their real name. It's like "Black Leg" Sanji or "Pirate Hunter" Zoro. I'm pretty sure Kaido has his own "Ace", not somebody with Ace name from his birth. "The Numbers" has been mentioned in the series a few times, right

The guy has one arm, no devil fruit, doesn't look nearly as impressive as the other emperors, visually. He seems a chill person, generally. Yet he is an emperor, stops Kaido from going to Marineford, then stops the war as well with his presence. He also talks with the Gorosei and generally seems to be held in enormous consideration. There is always a bit of mistery surrounding him. Yeah, he is terrifying as hell.

I think luffys status is best summed up by Nux Taku, he's an emperor in the same way Buggy is a warlord because his renown far surpasses his current physical strength. Obviously luffy isn't as comedically inept, mostly, but I think the analogy is fairly accurate in justifying his position to the opposition
I remember when I first heard Moria mention some "Kaido"-guy and wanted to know who that is. Found out he's part of some obscure group called the Yonko with Shanks and WB and some "Big Mom" person.(Back then I was like 10 years old and watching reruns on german TV so I had huge gaps in the anime). I couldn't wait to find out what they were like. One Piece is the biggest when it comes to inspiring one's imagination. They definitely surpassed my expectations.
I remember seeing big mom in the anime for the first time during fish man island I’ve always wanted to see her fight and first time hearing Kaido having a zoan fruit I always had a theory that he had a chimera fruit, Good old days when I use to have theories about them now I play as them in pirate warriors 4 good time to be quarantined 😬

During the times when roger become pirate king the pirates who we could say were emperors were: roger, big mom, shiki, and whitebeard not sure about kaido.....
None of the five major powers (the 4 Yonko and the World Government) considers him a peer yet either. That's why he's really only Yonko In Name Only right now. He's much like the Godzilla from the 2014 US movie... who was called GINO (Godzilla In Name Only) by fans until brought into the Toho Universe under the name "Zilla". And the main point of doing that seems to be to have the fake Zilla beaten by the real deal in under 15 seconds. A point that was also made with Luffy's first fight with Kaido.

And fishmen don't even need to go above the waves to break a ship's keel or destroy their rudder. His navigator now wields all the power that Big Mom used to control the weather, added to her own already-impressive mastery of the weather. His second-in-command can cut apart literal mountains. Luffy, in effect, has control over the seas, the skies, and has *multiple options* when it comes to wiping an entire island off the face of the map without lifting a finger. If the mood struck him and the forces under his command, he has the capability to just look at most nations and give the order to "make that country disappear". And *IT WOULD HAPPEN.* Whether or not you think the man himself is physically powerful enough to claim the title, there is no denying that he has the influence and the forces to back that claim up. He could do his own freaking buster call if he wanted.

When a devil fruit weilder dies if the devil fruit isn't taken directly out of their body (like in whitebeards case) the devil fruit power will be transferred to the nearest fruit. Like if ace dies and there was an apple somewhere next to him the apple will change into the mera mera no mi fruit.

i honestly think Big Mom is the most slept on yonko and the most underrated character in OP. I see the yonko as the symbols of the people Luffy has to overcome to become the pirate king: kaido= the most powerful people of the world, Big Mom the masses of other pirates, Shanks= His idols and predecessors and Blackbeard= his direct emnemies and rivals
I don't feel like luffy is an emperor yet. I will consider him as soon as he defeats either kaido or big mom, doesn't strike as much fear in other people as the other four emperors. When shank, kaido or big mom approaches everyone is in fear of their life, whereas as a luffy approaches they attack him. So as soon as weaklings stop attacking him, I will not consider him as an emperor
But the world doesn't know that. The world now perceives him as someone who commands a Grand Fleet of formidable pirates, allied and have connection to great names and power. Managed to sneak in and out of Big Mom's territory while defeating 2 of his commander. Plus his accomplishments before timeskip.

Here's how I think the series will end: 1. Luffy outright kills Blackbeard with a combination of his own Gum-Gum powers, along with Blackbeard's own Dark Dark fruit consuming him, Whitebeard's Goru-Goru Fruit causing a tsunami that not even Blackbeard himself could stop, causing him to drown as all devil fruit users do. And, possibly, Big Mom's devil fruit (Should he take its power after Wano.) hypnotizing him to the point of making him accept his fate with the classic D Clan smile, as well as Kaido's fruit making him too heavy to escape the waves and the darkness. 2. Luffy proclaims himself the "King of the Pirates" after defeating the Blackbeard Pirate Crew and leads the Straw Hat Grand Fleet into the room where the One Piece is hidden. And after a series of shenanigans, such as Nami getting excited about all the treasure that the Roger Pirates left for her, Robin finds out what the One Piece is, revealing it to be a device that will inevitably destroy the Red Line. 3. After being convinced by everyone that destroying the Red Line, which was artificially made by the World Government BTW, is the right thing to do, as Jinbe has already arranged an evacuation of Fishman Island, all ten Straw Hats place their hands on the lever, with Luffy in the middle, and then gently pull it. 4. The Revolutionary Army, who have already breached Mariejois, order an evacuation of the city, and hold Im and the Gorusei hostage, and descend into the New World. 5. After the Straw Hat Grand Fleet meets with the entire Revolutionary Army, leading to a family reunion with Luffy, Sabo, Dragon, and Garp, the entire world celebrates the fall of the World Government, as they can now travel freely wherever they please. And Luffy meets the spirits of those he had loved and lost, including Ace, Shanks, Whitebeard, and Roger, in a scene similar to that of the end of Return of the Jedi. After that, Boa Hancock and Luffy have their first kiss. And then, the narrator tells us where everyone went after the fall of the WG, showing us that the return to the world before the Void Century is a work in progress, as there's still prejudice between humans and fishmen, but, flying machines that were previously banned by the World Government are now widely available, making ships mostly obsolete. Overall, while the world isn't as great as before the Void Century, it's still a massive improvement over the oppression of the World Government.

In the manga it's been stated that he has been an emperor for six years so it was definitely after he left Luffy's village.

@@darrenraphael well, sort of. Don't get me wrong, Luffy is incredible and he's had the tenacity and strength of will to stick with it and conquer his way through, but his path was sort of laid out in front of him.
Roger had no concept of pirate king in his era. He just eventually got to Lodestar Island and then learned there was a mysterious "final island" and that he needed to find four specific poneglyphs to find it. He then had to retrace most of the Grandline to find them eventually leading to Laugh Tale.
Luffy on the other hand had his goal set in front of him with Roger's execution speech as well as Shanks' pushing and eventually encouragement. Luffy has received guidance from various Roger affiliates subtly directing his path the whole way. Shanks gave him a goal that focused his attention and the hat that would symbolize Roger's inherited will to anyone that knew Roger, Crocus told Luffy how the Grandline works and pointed him in the direction of Lodestar Island (though he did so by mentioning Laugh Tale), Rayleigh did a lot he coated the ship warned them how the New World works trained Luffy and helped the Strawhats escape after the two year timeskip, lastly Inuarashi and Nekomamushi explained the road poneglyphs and even told Luffy where three out of four are. The Roger pirates have had a hand in guiding most of Luffy's journey.
@@13vatra I don't think you know what it means to carve your own path. It doesn't mean that you never received help or had influences. It means that you chased your own dream starting from square one and figuring things out as you go. Luffy did exactly this by literally starting his journey at sea alone in a small boat with no crew or clue of what he was doing. He chased being pirate king so he could be the most free man in the world, and he's been fumbling around ever since growing into a great pirate captain that now stands as an emperor.
We see Luffy's journey not Roger's, so that's why you think Roger didn't have similar influences/help. But don't let our limited knowledge of him fool you. Oda made Roger and Luffy to be direct parallels with their defining feature being their ability to make people help them. Over the years we've learned that Oden and the Minks helped Roger find the One Piece and that Roger even went as far as to ask his rival, a MARINE, to raise his son. What will we learn about Roger over the next few years? It's clear that Roger is someone that would have received all the same kinds of help that you gave examples of Luffy getting because that's simply how Oda designed Roger to be.
Getting help doesn't disqualify them from carving their own way. Yes, you can say Luffy was influenced by people like Shanks who gave him the straw hat, but Roger got his straw hat from someone too. Remember that. We just don't know who b/c Oda doesn't need us to know right now. But don't let our ignorance of Roger fool you into believing that certain defining moments never happened in his life to influence him. He didn't birth himself. He has an origin and a story just like Luffy does that has helped him carve his own path in the world.

What I'm saying is there is a difference between someone helping him figure stuff out and get stronger versus someone (multiple people really) that have already been there turning you by the shoulders and pointing you in the right direction.
You mention the minks and Oden, however I would argue those examples actually support what I'm saying more. When Inuarashi and Nekomamushi sailed with Roger they were young and really didn't know anything to help guide him. Oden knew about poneglyphs and how to read them but not where the road poneglyphs were, Roger figured out what and where they were with the voice of all things. Not to mention Roger specifically sought out Oden AFTER reaching Lodestar Island and learning we needed the road poneglyphs to find Laugh Tale because he knew he needed someone that could read them.
Alternatively after sailing with Roger, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi specifically told Luffy about road poneglyphs, and then told him where three out of four are. They essentially invalidated the purpose of Lodestar Island. Even if the fourth was moved from Fishman Island to Lodestar Island (which is just a shot in the dark, it could be anywhere), the effect is still lessened. Shanks, Crocus, and Rayleigh weren't so heavy handed with their guidance, but I still feel they were all pointing him towards the end goal. There wasn't anyone who had already done it to guide Roger, there was no concept of a pirate king before Roger and even what we've seen in Roger understanding Joyboy's poneglyphs they really didn't seem to guide anything save the road poneglyphs.
Edit: Oh, one more thing, consider the following, it took Roger 30ish years from starting his pirate journey to becoming the pirate king, and that was with all the help and guidance you mentioned above. From the point Luffy is at right now it took Roger approximately one year to finish his journey and become pirate king. Luffy has been a pirate for 2 and a half - three-ish years (the timeline is wonky) and he's apparently only got one year left. If that even potentially since the search for three of the four road poneglyphs was removed. From 30 years to maybe 4. Sure sounds like Luffy got some heavy handed guidance to me.

I think luffys status is best summed up by Nux Taku, he's an emperor in the same way Buggy is a warlord because his renown far surpasses his current physical strength. I remember when I first heard Moria mention some "Kaido"-guy and wanted to know who that is. Found out he's part of some obscure group called the Yonko with Shanks and WB and some "Big Mom" person.(Back then I was like 10 years old and watching reruns on german TV so I had huge gaps in the anime). I couldn't wait to find out what they were like. One Piece is the biggest when it comes to inspiring one's imagination. They definitely surpassed my expectations.
I remember seeing big mom in the anime for the first time during fish man island I’ve always wanted to see her fight and first time hearing Kaido having a zoan fruit I always had a theory that he had a chimera fruit, Good old days when I use to have theories about them now I play as them in pirate warriors 4 good time to be quarantined 😬

When a devil fruit weilder dies if the devil fruit isn't taken directly out of their body (like in whitebeards case) the devil fruit power will be transferred to the nearest fruit.
Like if ace dies and there was an apple somewhere next to him the apple will change into the mera mera no mi fruit.

i honestly think Big Mom is the most slept on yonko and the most underrated character in OP. I don't feel like luffy is an emperor yet. I will consider him as soon as he defeats either kaido or big mom, doesn't strike as much fear in other people as the other four emperors. When shank, kaido or big mom approaches everyone is in fear of their life, whereas as a luffy approaches they attack him. So as soon as weaklings stop attacking him, I will not consider him as an emperor
But the world doesn't know that. The world now perceives him as someone who commands a Grand Fleet of formidable pirates, allied and have connection to great names and power. Managed to sneak in and out of Big Mom's territory while defeating 2 of his commander. Plus his accomplishments before timeskip.

Here's how I think the series will end:
1. Luffy outright kills Blackbeard with a combination of his own Gum-Gum powers, along with Blackbeard's own Dark Dark fruit consuming him, Whitebeard's Goru-Goru Fruit causing a tsunami that not even Blackbeard himself could stop, causing him to drown as all devil fruit users do. And, possibly, Big Mom's devil fruit (Should he take its power after Wano.) hypnotizing him to the point of making him accept his fate with the classic D Clan smile, as well as Kaido's fruit making him too heavy to escape the waves and the darkness.
2. Luffy proclaims himself the "King of the Pirates" after defeating the Blackbeard Pirate Crew and leads the Straw Hat Grand Fleet into the room where the One Piece is hidden. And after a series of shenanigans, such as Nami getting excited about all the treasure that the Roger Pirates left for her, Robin finds out what the One Piece is, revealing it to be a device that will inevitably destroy the Red Line.
3. After being convinced by everyone that destroying the Red Line, which was artificially made by the World Government BTW, is the right thing to do, as Jinbe has already arranged an evacuation of Fishman Island, all ten Straw Hats place their hands on the lever, with Luffy in the middle, and then gently pull it.
4. The Revolutionary Army, who have already breached Mariejois, order an evacuation of the city, and hold Im and the Gorusei hostage, and descend into the New World.
5. After the Straw Hat Grand Fleet meets with the entire Revolutionary Army, leading to a family reunion with Luffy, Sabo, Dragon, and Garp, the entire world celebrates the fall of the World Government, as they can now travel freely wherever they please. And Luffy meets the spirits of those he had loved and lost, including Ace, Shanks, Whitebeard, and Roger, in a scene similar to that of the end of Return of the Jedi. After that, Boa Hancock and Luffy have their first kiss. And then, the narrator tells us where everyone went after the fall of the WG, showing us that the return to the world before the Void Century is a work in progress, as there's still prejudice between humans and fishmen, but, flying machines that were previously banned by the World Government are now widely available, making ships mostly obsolete.
