What a girl . I loved this woman . She is pro and with clear attitude of a manager at young age . Way to go gal . And thanks Yudi for this. Totally thankful to u .
Thanks Yudi, for this amazing podcast, apart from all the great points of the podcast I would definitely like to highlight the fact which many people say and make people to believe that having an US ascent is so very important to achieve anything substantial in the USA, which here Samyuktha has proved it to be wrong and proving that if one has true talent with innovative proactive ideas and never say die attitude then ascent does not matter and one should never feel shy and down because we as Indians stand on true talent not on ascent. Cheers
got absolutely astounded knowing the meticulous attention she paid to every detail. The session was truly awe-inspiring and left me in a state of astonishment. 👏 Thanks!
This has to be the absolute best masterclass for pitching yourself to others that I have come across in the last decade. Everything boils down to presenting your best self in the truest form. Assume I have a capability score of 100 (C Score - anyone's starting point), and I somehow want to transfer/communicate that to the interviewer in the high 90s range. Majority of the time, many candidates and even sometimes I too, fail to even communicate 50% of our capabilities. (Herein, assume Execution Score, ES, to be 50% of 100, which is 50). Therein lies the gap we should strive to achieve to move closer to, while simultaneously increasing our C-Score to like 150, 200, 250... Except for a few exceptions, the majority of the people I have come across are underselling themselves. They might inherently increase their C-Score from 100 to 300 over the course of time, but their E-Score is still only 150-200, which is still quite behind their potential. See, for instance, here how elated Yudi was while listening to her. I can very much relate to Yudi's curiosity and joy. Her thought process and subsequent execution game gave us a tingle in our stomachs. (Another assumption) Over all these years, Yudi himself might have grown to his current 80% E-Score, but witnessing Sam's 90-95% E-Score, even he is appreciative of her achievement. Remember the joy and satisfaction one had when we came out of the room after a great interview, mostly because we managed to showcase our E-Score of 90% or higher. It's a completely different high. I just hope that after watching this video, we can all convey our true potential to others. P.S. My biggest regret interview was at IIM Lucknow during Covid times, where I had planned and designed a virtual set in my room over a Zoom call resembling the classroom of "2 States" where Arjun/Alia took their interviews. For context : My profile was CSE grad, Startup founder, Designer. So, I designed a presentation similar to Sam's, but I didn't have the guts to switch over. I regret it to this day. P.P.S. This C/E Score is made up right now. That said, the inspiration for that was my CAT mentor who used to address it as Aaukat Score. - Prakash Kalapala
Man, you keep on setting new standards. Your Editing, Title and Thumbnail game was on point. Esp. the thumbnail, even with no text whatsoever on it, the hinted/implied motion of handshake (after a great interview) or giving someone (joining letter), I can't pinpoint what it was, but the vibe-match was ✅. It just compelled to click on the video. More love and power for you to doing so.
