Crazy to see that she underestimates the brand value of her undergrad school "BIT Mesra" which is one of the GFTI's (Government Funded Technical Institute) out of the 38 GFTI'S currently established and recognised in India. It is equivalent to INI(Institute Of National Importance(IITs,NITs,NFTIs,NIDs)) you have to score great in JEE to get there your rank should be between AIR 1 to AIR 9000 for CSE branches where average package offered is around 17-24 LPA for all CSE branches way higher than other tech schools in India other than INI's. Still very much appreciated she is highly ambitious and goal oriented person learnt a lot from her very honest and soft spoken, her professionalism and her vision thoroughly clear she knows. What she was doing and is doing Thank you so much Yudi ❤❤❤❤🙌🙌
@@starX7995 Graduate From INI's and get handsome packages domestically your opinion will change.For masters work experience leaves a huge impact these days as job market is tight and such brand name do matter to some extent
@@starX7995 It matters because it reduces your stress of clearing the loan. Like even if you don't get a job in US, it is more likely that you get a *high* paying job in India. So there is low stress. Second, they have already had quality education. So, they don't find MS difficult . Third and the most important , these guys have very similar job preparation process in their college days because the companies are usually expecting them to know DSA, fundamentals, behavioural rounds and good projects. These guys grind leetcode from 2nd year and start projects from 2nd year itself. Meanwhile, tier 3 students start their coding in 3rd year and prep for TCS.
Hey yudi, please do talk about freshers who directly come for masters in the US without any prior experience. Do they face any difficulties for getting job offers compared to the one’s who already come with a work experience? Please make a video with some fresher guys about their entire stories. Would really help a lot!
Yes I have done several videos with people who have 0 experience and also the ones who changed their field from textile engineering to Data Science and yet able to get $100k salary. Its all about strategizing, preparartion, having clarity and a luck (blessings)
It's important to be ultra focused.. College may pay you 20$ per hour but your true worth is 500$ per hour. So, you need to optimise for this. I rejected my TA with fee waiver

Particularly, if you've savings or a capable family, you need to take that unfair advantage. I had 5+ years of work experience too. So, I tried to build a startup as a student

Do the universities in US also provide meal plans along with the on campus housing so that the students doesn't need to cook separately, buy groceries etc??
yeah if you live on the dorm then it does come with a meal plan, there are certain meal passes you can buy where you can get daily meals too. depends on universities

@YudiJ I was planning to go for a PhD. directly and do the research in the field of ML/AI integrating it with operations, but I believe I need to have a formal education to improve my skills in the domain. Also, I will be getting a chance to work with professors from Wharton and maybe convert it to a PhD.
It would be good if you allowed the other person to talk about their visa interview experience like the questions asked and how they answered, instead of interrupting constantly. To my disappointment, she never spoke about it in full..you cut her short..

UCSD also has an option of studio, which is furnished and costs about 1400 - all included (electricity, trash etc).
