yea the VA didn't service connect my TBI or PTSD even though I turned in paperwork showing I was blown up multiple times and went to see the medics after each patrol. Their denial for PTSD was literally "We concede you experienced a stressful event in service or fear of hostile military or terrorist activity. While you submitted positive medical evidence to support your claim, we found other medical evidence more persuasive because it is better supported in its rationale and conclusions. Although you were diagnosed with this condition in-service, and have been treated for this disability at the (insert places) VA Medical Centers, on your most recent VA examination, you were not found to meet the criteria of a diagnoses of post traumatic stress disorder or any other mental condition at this time." That was word for word on my denial letter over 10 years ago.

And it had just gone up just before. It hasn't been 100k since pre 9/11. It changed in 2001. Between April to September. Because mine was 100k and my wife's was $250,000. And anyone that want to change places with me. I would be glad to. It F'ed me up.
