I highly recommend, or another modern All Terrain tire. Makes any trim level look at lot cooler and also gives you a bit more bite in the snow and off road if needed.
From videos and forum posts I’ve seen, yes 245 is the widest tire people run on RAVs without and suspension modifications. I went for this size to save a little weight and money.

They ride great! Very little, if any, change to mpg. Maybe lost half of a mpg. 31 down to 30.5

Less than 1 MPG in the first 1000 miles. So very little or no change.
