Both Toyo - open country AT3, and Falken - Wildpeak AT3W is an amazing tires.
      There’s a new Falken - WildPeak AT4W.

    • @spawndog71

If you have a V8 truck, that AT4W is going to be even better than the 3s when it comes to cornering stability. Just don’t think I would want to sacrifice having more weight on all four corners and slightly less rain performance than the lighter AT3Ws. But to have that more rugged look of the new 4s,,,, tough decision man.

      @@spawndog71 I agree.
In my experience, I been owning my first Toyo - open country at3 215/70/16 on my 2015 lifted Scion xB for almost 3 years.
These all terrain tires are amazing for dry performance, gives my vehicle a great handling. And even during the rain, I was blown away how it handle so well.
In snow, it was very very good. Now it’s not the best compare to winter tires but it gets the job well done.
I never go off-road before, mostly dirt road. But maybe one day.
To me, the all terrain tires are very well and a must buy for all weathers ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I have multiple issues with this video. First when you are talking about a certain tire don't be showing videos of a different tire!!! You did it with more than one. Which brings me to my second issue is when you were talking about the GoodYear Trail Terrain you showed tread pictures of the BFG KO2 which should have been on this list. Also I'd take the Micky Thompson Baja Boss AT over all the tires on this list and the continental should even be on this list. Pretty much a waste of 9-1/2 mins of my life.

I didn't see but a couple of these suggestions, that had edge cleats, and only one where the cleats were big enough to actually get a bite, not to mention the tire having voids big enough to expel mud. If you tried to go off-road with any of the other tires on this list around here, even if it was dry, you would be wishing you had better tires. Most of these were just glorified street tires with reinforced sidewalls, other than that they were just as slick as could be.

65k on my BFG KO2s and tons of tread left. Those coopers are trash. Super noisy and wear out quickly. Heard really great things about the Falkens. I’ve run most of these tires at some point, and while the Toyos, Nittos, and Destinations were excellent, the BFGs are in another league. My boss got 113k out of the set on his Canyon.

    I own a 2015 lifted Scion xB.
My first choice for all terrain tires.
Toyo - open country AT3 with P-metric tires of 65k.
In my3 years of owning this amazing all terrain tires.
    I never go off-road, only on-road.
But lemme tell u, this is one hell of a tires that wonMt disappoints u.
This gives me great confidence for weather. Now I will point out thar it’s not the best tires as winter tires, but it definitely was close enough for me and gets the job done.
As for wet performance in rain, and dry performance.
These all terrain tires gives a much better handling than I thought.
Still got a lot of life to it.
But when they about to wear our soon, I’ll definitely buy another set.
Their 215/70/16. Fits well. For lifted xB.
2” lift front and 2.5” lift rear.
But I’m gonna go either 235/70/16 or 235/65/16.
    Either way.
Toyo - open country AT3 ALL DAY!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

    • @stevezodiac575
      @stevezodiac575 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@BC_Hunter Good choice I think! I too almost went for the (cheaper) Wildpeak. I figured some of the extra weight was in the thicker side wall protection, and I had side wall damage (although minor) on the AT2s. But then I watch (another) video review of the Wildpeak and the owner too had sidewall damage and flat - a wood spike puncture above the area that has the thicker wall protection, so the thicker wall hadn't helped at all. So I thought - that's it! And I went for the AT3s instead - set of 5 as I went from 65 profile to 70. Early days still, but mostly very happy so far. They are slightly louder than the AT2s on the freeway - but perhaps I'm listening more?? Ask me again in a few months 🤣.

@@BC_Hunter Sorry for the slow reply. So far I have no idea how they handle in the wet! 🤣 I'm in Perth, Western Australia. Its Autumn here (its been around 26C to 29C last couple of weeks) and we 'officially' begin winter on 1 June. We've had some of the hottest and driest few months (since last November) on record - and I've forgotten what rain looks like - but the forecast on tonight's news said we might get 5 days of showers next week!! So I may get to find out soon. However - the AT2s were very good in the wet (but I don't drive hard).
