I was at the game as a UCF fan and plenty of people left at that point, no joke. I had the misfortune of staying for the entirety of that meltdown in the fourth.
The commentary team absolutely smashed this out the park. Nothing worse than amazing action being tainted by the all too common cringe commentators these days, these guys are the best I've heard all year.
They purely embraced the excitement of the game and didn’t get in the way of it nor try to make it anything more than it was. It sounds simple, but so often that isn’t what the broadcasts do.
Could not believe that play. It was then that I wished Baylor didn’t win… cause that was worth its weight in gold to back it up with a game-winning drive. Feel bad for UCF. Gotta give Baylor credit for hanging in there though. Good game.

You really have to give Baylor a ton of credit for staying confident and playing hard. They've had a disappointing beginning of the season, and this game comes after getting destroyed at home against Texas. So to go down massively in the 2nd half in an away game and be able to keep their heads in it, stay confident, and believe in themselves and each other, absolutely tons of credit to them and the coaches.

When Baylor scored the TD to get within 35 - 26, the commentator stated it was 16 unanswered points, but it was 19. Then it ended up being 29 unanswered for the final score. UCF screwed the pooch with 10 seconds remaining in the game. Why go for the end zone when a field goal wins the game? The missed pass resulted in a 59-yard field goal try. If they completed a 10 to 15 yard pass along the sideline, a 40 to 45 yarder would most likely have won the game.
Never trust Gus Malzahn when you have a 28 point lead late in the game. Just ask Auburn fans from the national championship game, and the two LSU games back to back. SO glad we dumped him.
Gus Malzan has a way of clutching defeat from the jaws of victory. (See MNC against FSU in 2013) Why do you thing teams keep firing him? But, alas, there's always somebody ready to welcome him with open arms!

The offense was moving the ball but were not getting any results in the red zone. Then they were victims of that bad fumble call. So when they started scoring points on offense and getting turnovers on defense, it just started to snow ball. It was an absolute gem of a game as far as entertainment.
This is the worst loss in UCF's entire history. I really thought we were gonna BS a win after that insane 4th down play, just to get my heart ripped out again. I want off the gus bus. This ride sucks!
