Coaching high school, #2 pisses me off more than anything else. You got a player who wants to show boat but doesn't take the time or have the attention to detail for the basic fundamentals. I told my players, if you score a TD, you celebrate after you hand the ball to the ref with his hands in the air and get back to the sidelines.
Dumbest, most selfish play in football. If I were a high school coach I would play this clip and then tell my players if you EVER do that, you're off the team. No questions asked.
Coaches really need to drill it into guys that, unless you are tackled, you carry the ball all the way out the back of the endzone and hand it to the official. I think offensive player are mostly coached to do this these days. It's defensive players (who obviously don't get into the endzone as much) who probably make this mistake the most.
When i was in highschool i played DT. Dude had a wide open pick. Dropped it before he entered endzone thankfully i got it and ran it back in. Coach was livid. Next day he had buddy run from where he got the INT and into the endzone without dropping the ball for 20 reps everyday till next game. Dude never lived that down
Honestly the Virginia State/Norfolk State one is the funniest. Dude runs out of bounds on 4th down to give the ball back for a chance to tie and then for some reason its 1st & 5 and then the snap gets botched. Peak comedy
I don't know. After watching them all, that game with the quarterback running the ball out of bounds on 4th down to give the opposing team a chance to tie the game on a field goal just for the long snapper to send the snap into orbit seems even worse.

From a coach maybe. For me, the number 1 dumbest play in history was the Florida player that chucked the opposing running back's shoe 20 yards downfield. That penalty advanced the ball and allowed for the game winning kick. Why? Why would you throw an opposing players shoe down the field after it had come off? Why is the #2 play still happening? Why do guys throw it behind them? Why do guys not wait until they are in the endzone? It's painted for a reason! hahahahaha
I will never get tired of watching Miami fail to take a knee. What's funny is, it probably was not a fumble. It's May 23rd, 2024 and Mario Cristobal still hasnt been fired
Ready for some college football! LETS GO! Great vid!
As a Miami fan, I knew that fumble would be #1. Im still bewildered, flabbergasted, disappointed and confused as fuck by that play
0:54 I’m crying 😂😂😂😂😂 bro got demolished on that block and didnt even know til it was happening lmaooooo
This was like a Mountain West Showcase...
#2 pisses me off to no end, if i were the coach, that player isnt even allowed to ride home with the team after that, hes gotta find his own way home.
7:28 it looks like he’s dumbfounded that the official made the correct call 😂
His elbow was down
I was at the Wyoming vs CSU game as my first ever college football game i went to, im so glad to see that play again. I was right at the endzone he almost scored in, such a beautiful game.
1:42 i mean, my classic interception on Madden😂😂😂
I was just about to comment that 😂
Is tht mr Brock Purdy
As a canes fan, that stupid play still hurts. Like why tf didn’t they kneel the ball 😭
Ikr
Rigged
It’s been like this for us the last 23 years. You should know it’s what Miami does 😂😭
As an Oregon fan who watched Mario leave in the middle of the night, that last clip made me feel warm and fuzzy. We dodged a bullet.
6:24 Ah yes, the classic "Drop the ball before the endzone because you want to celebrate too early" play. You would think after MANY examples of this happening, it wouldn't happen any more, but...
Nope. Still happens. Still dumb. Still costly. Still facepalm worthy. Still not discouraged by literally anyone. What a pain in the brain.
I discourage it
@@jseiff51387 Everyone does, except for the players themselves
Love your videos
That Miami game is hilariously BAD🤣
1:31 is where you try to throw a bullet pass in retrobowl but one of the linebackers get and he is completely invisible
Only one play by Nebraska made the video? There were more than a few to choose from.
Utah finally got retribution for the drop against Oregon all those years ago
That Miami ending objectively strips the Hurricanes of their blue blood status.
Miami fans throwing stuff on the field. Classy as ever.
The ND-Ohio State ending should be here. Having 10 guys on the field at the 1 yard line in the biggest game of the year for you...Notre Dame could've finished much stronger if that play didn't happen
Wife's a Norfolk State grad, Daughter's a VA State grad. I didn't know whether to be happy or sad! 😂
Why is the #2 play still happening? Why do guys throw it behind them? Why do guys not wait until they are in the endzone? It's painted for a reason! hahahahaha
Love watching Washington show boating and drop the ball at the 1yd line lol. Utah did something similar years ago
1:30 wow this Purdy guy is just as good as the other Purdy guy in the NFL
Are u dumb
Runs in the family, see Brock giving the ball up to the closing lineman at TTU in 2020.
Not quite
as an oregon fan, thank you miami for taking cristobal from us
I will never get tired of watching Miami fail to take a knee. What's funny is, it probably was not a fumble. And the GA Tech receiver who scored the winning touchdown kind of slides into the endzone in celebration, so they could have easily called him down just short of a TD. But man what an epic humiliation of the Canes. Gotta just love it.
Both the head coach and officials were going through the motions I guess.
@@Great_Scott_GorDun Head coach, yes. Officials, no. That was kinda their way of saying 'how stupid can you be to not kneel down FTW?!'.
Honestly, even if he was down, Miami deserved to lose a tight call simply for the brain dead play.
That Miami play summed up hurricanes football for the almost 20 years I've been a fan
0:51 that Washington State player looked lost. What was he doing?!
That's when the player in NCAA has 40 awareness but you need his speed on the field
"Could someone please rerack Otto Porter?"
He must've saw a woman twerking in the stands!
Bigjohanthpatrick Your my main reason I love football 🏈
These were some pretty bad plays 👍
Can't wait for more of this mess this fall. Love it.
0:29 nah this was worse then damar Hamlin make a wish fake punt
Happy to see my Jackets on the good side of 2 of the 15.
He’s back we love you PSC!
“A lil mountaineer on mountaineer crime…” 😂
2:00 that tackle by the TE (not too sure on positions) was actually so good for an offensive player
I remember watching that VA St. @ Norfolk St. game. lol.
That pick from Purdy is what got him drafted so late. Funny stuff!!!
I’m an Alabama fan and honestly surprised not to see the last play of the Michigan game in this lol also, we had a drop before the end zone as well (Tyson UTC game). I could think of a couple others like passing past the line of scrimmage not once, but twice. You could probably make a whole video off my team alone last year lol
3:14 does anyone know if it's legal to push a player into the punt returner like that? I feel like there would be some rule against that but idk, just curious.
Ah yes the DeSean Jackson Special. Love you DJax and I’m glad to see your legacy live on.
At least that didn't end up like Utah's Kaelin Clay (scoop 'n score).
The Washington dropped football at the 1 🤣and Miami playcalling being well... Miami playcalling
Number 2 was so far away from that fumble and still chased it all the way down.
Thats hustle right there.
