Hi, main differences for me would be the weight, seat height and power. The SFV2 is heavier and has a higher saddle, and you can definitely feel it has more power. The SFV2 also has a visible steering damper and a more aggressive riding stance while you'll sit more upright in a Monster. But for me, you can't go wrong with either bike. Thanks and ride safe! 🙂
@@emunoz587 wow, congrats sir! If budget is not a concern, I'll also go with the SFV2. It looks way too good and very comfortable to ride. Power and torque is also available anytime you need it. Enjoy the new bike and ride safe! 😊
Hello, 'Ray from California. Still on the fence between these awesome motorcycles, what about comfort and ergonomic for longer ride (4-8 hours). I guess Monster is a better pick? What about the softness of the ride/shocks - any difference? According to my research SFV2 has stiffer shocks. Thank you in advance.
Hi Ray, you're definitely right. If you want comfort and better ergonomics, I'd go with the Monster hands down. I'm 5'8 and the riding position is perfect for me. I didn't notice much difference though in terms of suspension, both felt really great. Looks and power, I'd go with SF. Comfort and ergonomics (plus it also looks awesome), I'd pick the Monster. Congrats in advance on your new Ducati, ride safe! 🙂
@@NoobieRides Thank you so much for your input. Though I am leaning in more to SFV2 due to looks and speed, I will definitely value more the comfort and ergonomics of the Monster during longer rides. Here in San Diego, going to and from the mountains and deserts is an hour away from home and do have stretches of twisty roads and straightaways. I would not want my back and hands burning after few hours of riding (I might be exaggerating a bit). Though both bikes are more than capable in handling these easy roads, my purchase decision will go down to the bike that will give me the best comfort. I guess Monster it is. In addition, it is lighter and nimble. That does not leave the fact that SFV2 is not a great bike. SFV2 has the more aggressive look, it is faster, more torque on the top range (for racing) and the coolest looking naked road bike from Ducati and it is track ready. Maraming salamat Kababayan sa Vlogs mo. You have a great and unbiased assessment. I like your calmness, focus and you hit the right points in your explanations. Keep them coming!
@@raygarcia6142 uy pinoy ka pala bro hehe! I’m excited for you since the SF and Monster are the 2 best bikes I’ve ridden so far. If you plan to ride it for hours, yeah the Monster is the right choice. The SF has a lower handlebar which results to a more agressive riding position. Should be great for an hour or less of riding, not sure though how the lower back would feel in longer rides. And the light weight of the Monster makes it super easy and fun to drive. Take a video bro when you get it, would love to see it. Ingats and ride safe! 😊
@@NoobieRides Yes bro! Your information validates my original thoughts about the Monster, and of course, I got distracted by the appeal of the SFV2. Now I am certain with my decision and much thanks to you! I will for sure take a video. Mabuhay ka Bro! Maraming salamat in what you do. 😊

For those of us who only speak English; can you summarize the differences between riding the SFV2 and 937 Monster?
