Hi Steve! This is the best part of the vinyl tag, and that is discovering new channels. I also showed X in my tag. Under The Big Black Sun is one of my favorite all time records. Count me as subscribed. Cheers!
Yeah, the Vinyl Tags are great. Always fun thinking about and pulling records I haven't in a long time...sometimes years. Thanks, welcome, and Happy New Year.
I remember BipBopBoom talking about Exploding Hearts. Whenever I wanted to get rid of my friend Tom I would put on the Smiths. Very cool 7”s. The In Sound From Way Out is a record I need to pick up.
Great video Steve. Those X albums are just wonderful. I actually saw X on the More Fun tour. D@mn what an incredible force they were as a live experience. Their next two albums are ok. Not classics but there are gems to be found. 4th of July is just perfect. Not an original song for X but it suited the band perfectly. Be well, Shawn
I just watched X's 12/30/23 show at the Warfield when they opened for Jerry Harrison Adrian Belew Remain in Light show on Ted Silverman's YoyTube channel. They still have it!
Hey! Steve I hope you and your family had a great 🎄 and have a great New Year's 💥 Haven't seen you in a while my friend.🤔 I grew up in the 70s and 80s. And as I've always loved the 80's and 90's Rock and Metal music. I must agree with you that it is the 70's Rock and Metal music that I mostly listen to. Listening to The Who - Quadrophenia as I write this. One of the most incredible! Groups of all times in My opinion. And yes I know they were really from the late 60's 😂 even though I consider them a 70's group because that's the era of them I've always loved the most. Hope you and your family have a great New Year my friend. Take care Steve.🤘🍺
Yeah, there are a lot of 60s groups that I consider 70s, because that's when they put out their best albums...Status Quo immediately comes to mind. I do like a bunch of the Who songs from the 60s, but the 70s albums are definitely where it's at. Hope you're good, and Happy New Year.
Steve that was a great vinyl Tag i remember when that Motley Crue Dr Feelgood came out that one album I really dig I was able to finally find a clean copy I still spin . What’s Going on is definitely a classic I have so many pressings of that gem and that Beastie Boys album is so good I need to grab on wax hope you have a great New Year Steve . This year I’m going to have to seek out that Mad Season I hear some of the tracks is sounds killer .
I definitely recommend grabbing the In Sound on vinyl...it sounds great and is always a killer listen. The Mad Season is a must have. I actually just made a deal for an original pressing...it's been number one on my want list for at least 10 years. I hope all is good Lovell...Happy New Year.

That's what I've heard. I'm hoping X does another show here in Atlanta this upcoming year. It's been a while since they played here.
Super cool idea man, really enjoyed this one. Your knowledge is off the charts man. Never seen that iron maiden 7". Looks wicked cool.
Thanks brother. Yeah, pretty sure that Maiden is unofficial, but don't care, still very cool. I believe I got it from Rockadrome.
@@harmlessrebel868 unofficial stuff us fun to collect as well.
