Definitely a great grab. I was so glad when they announced it was finally getting pressed to vinyl....it took way too long. I believe their second album may be in the works too.
Awesome stuff man. Every time I watch one of your middle and hard rock videos, I always see a couple of albums that are also in my collection, but you also show at least one record that I haven't really heard before or listen to much. Before that I got to go back and check out. And I really dig that about your videos. Awesome Overkill EP. Finding that in the wild is awesome.
Thanks Brett. Man, that's the good thing and the bad thing about the VC. I've found out about so many killer albums through the VC, the problem is the amount of money I spend on albums because of it....crazy. I still can't believe I found that Overkill in a local shop. I tell you what. For such a small shop, I have found more rare and valuable albums in the Marietta CD Warehouse than any where else in the Atlanta area. That bad thing about that place is you have top stop in there regularly to find the best stuff.
Man, I'm still shocked I ran across the Overkill in a small local shop, and for about half the going rate. Pretty much everyone I've shown it to has said the same, they've been looking for the album forever.
Steve.....nice UDO pickup....the early stuff is killer.....The new Rage stuff seems kinda samey these days with the album themes and artwork but always cool to find in the wild. Rage's mid 90s to mid 00's stuff is some of their best if u come across them. Sweet Banzai Raven score.....Play em Loud.
Hey Lee, yeah I've heard that about Raven, which is why I just grab them if I see them in stores. I love their first few albums when they were more of a speed/thrash band. It wasn't until like 2015 when I ran across Strings to a Web for cheap that I checked out their power metal and really dug it. This is only the 3rd of their 2000s albums I have so I'm pretty happy with the sound. Sadly most power metal bands seem to get into that habit of putting out similar sounding albums after the first few. Funny enough, it's probably you showing all of the Banzai pressings that's the reason I grab all of them I run across.
Hei, Steve Though I'm not a huge Van Halen fan, I sure would like to hear that "Zero Demos" album! That kind of stuff is interesting. Cold rockin' here in Finland, 🥶👍 Jarkko/MyVinylBar
The Zero demos are great. If you see the album, grab it. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest Van Halen fan, but the debut is my favorite, which is why I really dig this one. Hope you're good Jarrko.
Man, I had heard that House of Pain was an early Van Halen song, even though I only know it off of 1984.... I'm not much of a fan, but I'd really like to hear that version, so now I'm thinking about it, haha!
I'm not the biggest Van Halen fan either, but I love the debut. It's their only album I ever listen to. The demos are great, worth grabbing if you run across them.
Cool stuff, just subscribed to you, looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thanks!! picking up the Brother Cane did not know it was reissued

@@harmlessrebel868 I wish there was a store like that near me. The two close ones don't get much like that in

Most of this stuff I’m unfamiliar with. Zero Demos sounds interesting.

Its Michael Whelan art Steve.
Wow, I would have never thought Michael Whalen...his artwork is just as iconic.
