The big teams in europe have created a glass ceiling in football and it amazes me that they have been legally allowed to do it. The likes of Chelsea, City, PSG and now Newcastle are giving the traditional big teams a bloody nose and they have been allowed to manipulate the rules to protect themselves. The police should investigate any suspected fraud, not an independent panel. Clubs, players and fans may have been denied millions of pounds in prize money, bonuses and wasted match ticket and journey costs to watch a null and void competition. Transfer fees and salaries also inflated for other clubs to compete against, again paid for by the fans of other clubs throughout all of football.
    The Fraud Act 2006
    The Offences
    Section 1 creates a general offence of fraud and introduces three ways of committing it set out in Sections 2, 3 and 4.
    Fraud by false representation (Section 2);
    Fraud by failure to disclose information when there is a legal duty to do so (Section 3); and
    Fraud by abuse of position (Section 4).
