I have the 1975 CB125. It’s only a neighborhood rider but man i still love it in my sixties. It’s a true collectors dream bike. Want to replace the side panels because mine are a little cracked.
These were fantastic little bikes, with legendary reliability, economy and simplicity. There were gazillions of them in London, and the blue was my favorite colour. I have a seared memory of escaoing certain death on one of these, when as a terrified passenger, screaming "NO" at the top of my lungs, as we (two large guys) overtook a Route Master bus on a very steep hill (Stamford Hill, North London) as it was turning right! That tiny Honda came through with a sudden burst of acceleration that just got us out of the path of the bus! I assumed that the tiny Honda was as terrified as I was and that it too wanted to live, hence the burst of acceleration. I certainly wasn't going to credit my grinning cousin for saving us, as he got us into trouble in the first place. Honda 125's thereafter had a place in my heart and I bought a CG125, another gem from Honda.
I had a brand new 75 cb 125..rode it to work after classes at Guilford College. I rode on I-40 2 exits, wide open at 55 MPH, Semis going by at like 80! Windy!
Cool video just got one given to me and I was impressed with the tires on mine though it's not even close to yours mine was originally painted like the orange one y'all featured cool bikes
Man I love it when you take me back to my teenage years I wanted a bike over a car when I was 16
