Sorry, these kinds of comments are among the most ignorant comments anyone could write, ever.
The reason School of Rock displayed so much creativity, talent and sense of humour was because Jack Black was involved in the creative process that went into making it, not because it was "good old times".
And beside that, simply consider the nature of nostalgia itself, which tends to drown out all the background noise of average, underwhelming and bad that you would have had during any "good old times" as well. You just don't remember it, because it simply wasn't good enough.

Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy "Spazzy McGee” Jones in the 2003 movie School Of Rock with Jack Black was killed when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle along a Chicago street early Wednesday (May 26).
Police said Clark, 32, was struck after running a red light in the city’s Avondale neighborhood. Clark was riding east on Logan Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle heading south on Western Avenue, a witness and the driver both told responding officers, according to a Chicago Police Department crash report.
Authorities say emergency responders found Clark partially under the car. Clark was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Authorities say the 20-year-old woman driving the car was issued several citations, but didn’t give additional information.

Salvó raras excepciones , lo que toca Jack black se vuelve éxito.. sino miren las dos pelis de Jumanji, más allá de the rock sin dudas el mejor personaje es el.

Yeah I remember wanting to shred the drums so I just took 2 VHS tapes on each side for four different sounds and then used plastic stirring spoons and needless to say I didn't get past this part until i 100%ed each note. Also broke a couple VHS tapes

I recall exiting the theater with an ex-girlfriend in '03 and commenting just as an aside: "The young girl who plays bass (Becca Brown) will grow to be a beautiful woman"...then havin to listen to the ex scream at me cuz i said "another girl was beautiful" the whole ride home :/...10 years later that girlfriend is long gone and no surprise...i was right! LOL
