The English countryside never fails to surprise us, the overall calm and great mood, the lush greens, and the fresh air are just fantastic! Thank you for taking us along this gorgeous area! All the stone buildings and fences are amazing. With the cloudy weather, the deep greens are really coming alive! I love it. Didn't know, DJI Osmo Pocket 2 has such great colours, At first, I thought, it was recorded on a Sony mirrorless. Have a great weekend! 🙂
As part of my recovery program after serious illness, I am so much enjoying walking with you on the treadmill.Thankyou for your company.Currently we're being battered by storm Debi or whatever it's called. So loved being by the river in Grasmere.....!
Gorgeous walk & nostalgic memories for us, as my parents had a house on the side of the lake & we used to go sailing, canoeing and hiking up the mountains and then we always brought our children for holidays to enjoy the fabulous surroundings. Miss it all. Thank you for such a wonderful walk. I wish you’d gone up Redbank Road though, to look at the lake. It would have been interesting to see if the boat hire place is still there. 👏👍

We've stayed in Grasmere 3 times over the years and it was always perfect. Thank you so much for taking us back again, so we could enjoy it again on April 17, with the weather still absolute rubbish.......oh for another cream tea there right now, in the sun, with the gentle bustle of life going about it's business. We watch all your videos, thank you for putting them on, they are a real treat.
Extraordinarily beautiful! I was in the area to see the William Wordsworth house and Grassmere back in 2010. It is beautiful and I really appreciate your walk of this gorgeous town. I loved seeing Sam Read's Book store still there.

Another great video, and so much fun to see the places in Grasmere we visited last year--even the bench in the town centre park where we waited for the bus back to Windermere. How great is that?! Thanks for bringing those memories back vividly for us.

I cant believe how it can be so beautiful... You will find nature at many places but how it can so clean well planned properly maintain. Even credit goes to the people too... So calm and peaceful. Looks people here are so decent and well mannered ❤❤❤i saw first video of your channel and i really enjoyed it... In india there are so many places which are full of nature but wont find these types of beautiful homes cleaned streets narrow roads and people with decent dressing and well mannered... I don't know your culture and tradition but people here are so good... Thank you... Its not like that I have never seen such types of videos but what i feel is that all these places are so beautiful mainly in Europe

I went to Grasmere on a working holiday and worked at the Shepherds Crook restaurant. I don't know if it's still there. It was a quaint pretty area, great to walk in the fells.
Definitely enjoyed that! I'm not sure how much use the brolly would have really been though. My Dad had one that he'd managed to keep for nearly ten years, he brought it down here and it broke in less than ten minutes. He was NOT amused!

Nice to go for a quiet walk in the evening, when lots of people have gone home. The damp blustery weather keeps the crowds away too. Did you stop for an evening meal in town to go with your hot chocolate? There are some nice looking eateries there. 🍛

It would be more interesting if you'd swing to the right and left as you walk so we can see into the side roads,past the hedges and through the driveway of houses. Or isn't that allowed?
Driveways of houses are private property, whilst it isn't directly not allowed, it would certainly be intrusive and inconsiderate, house owners would be well within their rights to complain if they felt I was purposely filming their private property. I make an effort to be as non intrusive as possible when filming.

I can confirm the brolly was not of much use. They rarely are in the Lake districts as your Dad unfortunately found out.

I think your missing the point here why he doesn't put music on his videos it's all about the ambiance and sound of nature in its purest form...

What do people do for a living in these small villages?
I have to admit I am not all that sure really, either work from home, work locally on farms, shops, etc or drive to larger towns for work.
I want to live in Grasmere for a week . Can anyone help me ?
