Hi Dave Celia, my 100 year old mother, is staying alive as she looks forward to watching another one of your beautiful, lovely walks every morning. She said, “Ah, that’s lovely, look at that, beautiful. Nobody walking there. Look at that, my oh my. I wish I were there. Having something like that to watch, I don’t feel so confined. I can survive sitting here day after day. I’ve never seen anything like that in California. I can hear his footsteps.” Thank you so much! ❤
It is so heart warming to read that, thank you for letting me know of your mum's joy in watching my walks every morning! Please let her know that I send her my very best wishes,, she will be in my thoughts when I am next out there getting my camera ready to film my next adventure!
@@DavesWalks Celia said, “Thank you. She said to you, “You are doing a tremendous job on your project!” She wants you to come to CA and film the parks here, see the wineries, the Sierras. ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Mum Celia! Her son, my brother, Duncan, died 12/5/22 of Parkinson’s, your walks have helped us get through that, he was 72. Now she said she wants you to film Yunanfu in China, a mountain area in China, where she lived as a young girl. She’s got some big dreams, my Mum.
My mother in law was on about taking me here because she thinks I will love it...I think she's on to something! I love how you stop to show us the views and little details of the walk. Thanks again Dave!
Сказки британского леса, такая волшебная красота, что надо быть поэтом, что выразить все чувства от увиденного, как счастливы жители этих мест, могут постоянно наслаждаться такой завораживающей природой, владения Робин Гуда!
Highly recommend this channel. As promised no talking - just walking and amazing natural world photography with little gems around the corner. Unlike some “virtual hikes” that don’t look real. You are getting to take these walks in a very real setting so it seems like you are actually there. I would love to travel to the UK and take every one of these walks. Bonus- they relax you like meditation. Thank you 😊
It is a pleasure! That was always my main goal when I created this channel, and I very much have no intention of changing the main theme of this channel!
tack så hemskt mycket för alla dessa underbara promenader som du filmat.Jag ser dessa om och om igenMin favorit ärCastle Crag Walk the lake district at the English contryside
I visited the Lake District 17 years ago but unfortunately I haven't been able to go back there again... Hopefully I'll take the chance in this new year. In the meanwhile I imagine how it could be watching your great video, Dave. Thanks and keep sharing England's stunning views 💖😉🙏
Just as I was wondering if that pretty little River at the beginning had a name a handy comment popped up. Thank you! I hope this will continue to be a feature of future walks as a little information now and then goes a long way, especially when you're somewhere I've never been.
Beautiful walk through the cool, mossy forest, with the stream meandering along side it. Love the Lake and the Rydal Cave are just stunning. Thank you for taking the time to make this vlog Dave. 🥰 I really enjoyed it. 😊
I love your walks but I do wonder why there doesn't seem to be much wildlife around. Do you ever see squirrels or maybe deer? This lake and the trees are so beautiful. Thank you Dave.
Whilst I do see wildlife often, they remain highly elusive and very difficult to capture on cam. I have seen dear on numerous occasions, but never when I happen to be filming. Seemingly I am just unlucky in capturing wildlife. But there is plenty out there.

Such a beautiful walk! Thank you Dave!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful place, so beautiful 😍
You're tapping into the walks that are so appealing to me mate. Love..love..love this one.
Lovely walk Dave and interesting especially with the cave you should do more like this
Super cool. Pleasant area. Happy to watch. Thank you
utterly beautiful! a gorgeous walk: lake views, mountain vistas, waterfalls, forests, spelunking, and the mystery of the lone shoe.
❤❤❤
I was so intrigued by that lone shoe, whose was it, why is it there, where is the other one, and is it still there now? 😆
Thank you so much for this beautiful walk!
It's a pleasure Beth! 😀👍
Amazing and very beautiful walk. The cave is magical and mystical. Thank you ❤

Ah kul att höra det! Jag får väldigt väldigt sällan svenska kommentarer. Hälsningar från England!

I wonder why the places you visited were always not crowded. In my country such places would be very crowded. A calming and nice video as always, anw.
I'm just good at timing my filming on quiet times, sure enough these places can be uncomfortably busy at times! Glad you enjoyed it Amy! 😀👍
Obrigada por este vídeo💙💙
É um prazer

It is very much a feature now for all walks I make, I think there is only one or two videos left that were filmed before I added this feature.

Lindas paisagens parece muito com alguns lugares do meu país o Brasil 🇧🇷.
Parabéns e boa caminhada
Another lovely walk, thanks Dave. I don’t know about you but I was ready for a cuppa and a sticky bun after that one! ☕️ 🧁
Haha, so was I! Whilst I didn't have a sticky bun, I did indulge in a good strong cup of tea afterwards!
