Wish all Blender tutorials could be this laser focused and full of details with no jibber jabber except for the techniques taught. Best Blender tutorial I've seen this year. Keep up the great work Zac.
For crying out loud, I'm barely half way through the video and you have somehow managed to solve _almost literally every major problem I have modeling._ Bravo man, keep up the fantastic work.
Same here. Started with Maya, but stayed with Blender. Don't get me wrong but I love both. I just found Blender more friendly and easier to use. As an independent 3D artist, it's definitely the best around.
It is not often you encounter someone with the black belt in Blender, but you have some serious talent Sir! I am blown away by the simplicity of these tips! Thank you!
Never thought I'd say this about an almost 40 minute long video, but this was short and to the point. Perfect! Thank you so much, learned so much, despite having done this for over a decade now.
Alt+D tip is a basic not implemented feature I'm waiting since ages. Something like a local object view/edit, without moving it to the center, cause it's so annoying. Great tips
I was like 'what the heck can this hair nonsense be used for' but when he said 'cables' it blew my mind! Can use this to make such complex looking scenes!
Thank you so much Zacharias...I always ignored this video as some typical modeling hacks but today when finally I decided watch it these were real life savers.
Zacharias, you are a MASTER!!! Your tips are really very useful and pretty smart!! Your setup for hard surface modelling is excellent. Your video has so many productive/useful hacks... Congratulations and thanks, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
This is an extraordinarily lean, concise, and pragmatic tutorial. Thank you so much. I have learned twenty videos worth of information in a little under forty minutes. I am so very grateful for this!
I'm always dubious when the title of a video says something like "awesome modelling hacks", I've heard it before, but this blew me away! Great job, many thanks.
Brilliant! Especially Hack#09. I had broken down a sphere into random parts and wanted to move each part along radial direction outwards. With this tip, I can do it within seconds. Thanks.
Very, very useful hacks. Regarding Hack #11, One can move multiple objects to local view at the same time. In this case the jacket and the holsterbelt by having them both selected and click /.
Thanks for the support on it all Zach, that was an awesome shoutout!!! We tried to make that hard surface modeling ride as cushioned and comfortable as possible for all! :D And of course, great tips as always! :D Aidy
I like how you don't need any particular SKILL to use blender and make good stuff from it. It's about having the best shortcut and approach to your issue. As Echo from Rainbow Six Siege says: "Efficiency is clever laziness."
Sehr nützliches, hilfreiches Video. Wie immer sehr gut/einfach erklärt und nur das wichtigste. Perfect. Ihr (früher AgenzasBros) heute CG Boost seid/bist einfach spitze. Mach weiter so Zacharias!
hahaha, well that's a personal opinion but i like a lot the way you afford each project and how you use the blender tools to achieve the result, and of course the way to explain that to us. I think is better to learn the tool when using it in a project or idea. Thanks again for the great job you do. I'm enjoying a lot the mastering sculpting in blender course.
Those were some very useful tips. It is evident that you have built up lot of experience based on the quality of your tips. This is one of my favorite Blender videos. Thank you.
You picked up a subscriber. I'm only half way through your video and so far, everything you've shown is new to me, even after having used Blender professionally.
Great tutorial, a few very handy tips to keep in mind. One more tip: There is an eydropper symbol next to any field that needs an object. You don't have to find the name and type it, just click on the object in the viewport.
36:06 in the array modifier you can use fit type: fit to curve and select the curve so the object will repeat the exact times necessary to cover the whole length of the curve. Less clicks ;)
Why did people dislike this? Genuinely want to know, there must be something about these tips that is more than meets the eye or something, because they seemed genius to me
Wow, this is one of the best tips videos I've seen. I've been modeling for a long time and almost all of these were either new to me, or clever uses I hadn't thought of. Great!
i see many tutorial for past 5 days for hours , but i learn 20 time more in just 40 min thanks for the grate video thumbs up , subscribe and of course i will share this video
Wish all Blender tutorials could be this laser focused and full of details with no jibber jabber except for the techniques taught. Best Blender tutorial I've seen this year. Keep up the great work Zac.
Wish all comments on TH-cam could be nice and agreeable as this one.
For crying out loud, I'm barely half way through the video and you have somehow managed to solve _almost literally every major problem I have modeling._
Bravo man, keep up the fantastic work.
36:16 You can change Array modifier mode to Fit Curve and the instances of an object will be increased automaticly to the curve length
nicely convenient
Works nice :-D Thanks !
I just can wow enough. As a maya modeler, I don't understand, why I didn't switch
to B3D much earlier. Thanks Zacharias, great vid!
It´s funny how maya is used by lots of hollywood studios and blender is actually preferred by many professionals.
And free.
You'll miss the snapping options
Same here. Started with Maya, but stayed with Blender. Don't get me wrong but I love both. I just found Blender more friendly and easier to use. As an independent 3D artist, it's definitely the best around.
One of the best Blender tip and trick videos I've seen.

Dang it! I can’t get past the intro. I just keep watching it over and over again. It’s just so magical.
This video contains so many game changers. I have to watch it over and over again. Pure treasure.
Great video! ALT + D to edit mesh that are not aligned is LIFE SAVER! :) Thanks a lot :)
The ALT+D works for me but the orientation keys don't. Any idea why this might me?
Brilliant, I needed this so many times!!!
Alt+D tip is a basic not implemented feature I'm waiting since ages. Something like a local object view/edit, without moving it to the center, cause it's so annoying. Great tips
Have to love modern blender hey?
that alt+d trick was absolutely genius why didn't i think of that
and that keyframe one too
FArtz i know right!!!
I was like 'what the heck can this hair nonsense be used for' but when he said 'cables' it blew my mind! Can use this to make such complex looking scenes!
Undoubtedly one of the best and most mind blowing tutorials I've ever seen (hacks rather)
My Goodness! The seam snapping technique is lit!!! this is all absolute genius, I've never though of any of these techniques
Yeah that is brilliant.
I'm only two thirds of the way through, and my understanding of Blender is already changed forever! Thank you so much.
One of the most informative videos I have seen for modeling in blender.
Rotating origin -
You can just select rotation from 3d cursor. Shift + s, 2. Rotate. Done.
Good stuff. Thanks for work!
Thank you so much Zacharias...I always ignored this video as some typical modeling hacks but today when finally I decided watch it these were real life savers.
This should be a paid tutorial... so valuable.. thanks for sharing with all of us.
Zacharias, you are a MASTER!!! Your tips are really very useful and pretty smart!! Your setup for hard surface modelling is excellent. Your video has so many productive/useful hacks... Congratulations and thanks, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
I have no words to describe how useful and no time wasting was this, the learning/second is like +infinite, thank you so much

Keep it up Zacharias - you made a fan out of me!
You are my Inspiration Jared. Just watched your devcon 2019. You are amazing
@@amritanandpathak1112 Thanks for being a fan😁
POSSIBLY the best, most useful single Blender tutorial on the entire internet. Thank you.
Yes! Advice that's actually useful, not like the other videos on youtube showing obvious and well documented stuff. Thank you a lot!
I'm always dubious when the title of a video says something like "awesome modelling hacks", I've heard it before, but this blew me away! Great job, many thanks.
This was one of the most incredibly helpful Blender help/tutorial videos I have watched and I have watched a LOT. So THANK YOU I say! Vielen Dank!
I have watched this at least 10 times. Every time I come back after practicing everything just makes more and more sense. Thank you.

Very useful thanks. Note: “vertex” is the singular form of “vertices”.
I do agree, these are quite useful modeling tricks, thanks for sharing!
This video is pure gold! Herzlichen Dank für die super tips! :-) gerne mehr davon! Klasse Arbeit!
I joined back during blender 2.7 and I have to say we have since come a long way.
This is gold! I really wish I found this earlier and didn't waste countless hours in confusion. Great vid!
Also, check our newer video with 100 modeling tricks: th-cam.com/video/JMBMHSca_j0/w-d-xo.html
These are incredibly useful. I'm 10 minutes in and you've already more than earned my subscription.
Hair to curves is EXACTLY what I needed thanks!
Convert edges to curves for pipes -- favorite.
This is "Blender Gold" (DC named the superhero wrong). One of the best videos I have seen on modelling in a long while.
Very, very useful hacks.
Regarding Hack #11, One can move multiple objects to local view at the same time. In this case the jacket and the holsterbelt by having them both selected and click /.
then the jacket would still block your view from many angles.... just opening a second window that shows both seems more practical to me
Thanks for the support on it all Zach, that was an awesome shoutout!!! We tried to make that hard surface modeling ride as cushioned and comfortable as possible for all! :D And of course, great tips as always! :D Aidy

Why did people dislike this? Genuinely want to know, there must be something about these tips that is more than meets the eye or something, because they seemed genius to me
Simple. Some people are hanging upside down while watching and their screens are right side up. Don't ask me why.
Most useful tips for blender I saw in a long time! Great work!
These tactics are genius, absolutely, amazing video!
That was such a good bunch of tips. Thank you man.
