I’m a Landlord from Wales in the UK, If i got squatters they leave in 10 Minutes, If they don’t leave in 10 Min,s they spend Weeks in Hospital….
In the US the home owner was arrested for changing locks due to finding squatters! Other owners go through nearly years in the courts to get them out. These aren’t renters. Just plain old squatters (criminals). Some states are catching on. Florida will now arrest them for squatting. Funny story I watched was one man’s mother found her home had squatters. She gave her son an actual rental lease for one room. Her son moved in and made their lives hell. Eventually they left. As a homeowner I’m afraid to leave on vacation since I heard someone had squatters when he returned from vacation. This is not right. Good for you taking it on!

I agree I removed squatters at gunpoint they were leaving either on there feet or in a bag but they were leaving

A door on the kitchen is so weird to us in the USA.
How so? Are all kitchens open plan in the US?
@@worldsworstneighbours Most are, Yes. like our kitchen has a door, but it leads to the garage. Going into the kitchen is open and it connects to the dining room and the living room. We have what's called a Galley kitchen, If there is a door to leads to the kitchen, it's usually either something that resembles salon doors or a sliding door that can be hidden in the wall where most people leave it open so there's more ventilation. If I had rented that apartment, I personally would've taken that door off as well, but kept it wrapped up and safe to put it back on if I moved out. Now that's just my opinion and every place has their own rules. So I would follow those rules, but that door still would've come off :)

We had pocket doors on our two kitchen doors on our 1950's house. They were great! My mother said she would never want an open plan because she liked that she could shut the small galley kitchen off.
My 1947 house originally had a door between the kitchen and living room. Someone removed it; we found it in the attic.

You can tell you don't have or like animals, saying that, geez 🙄 it's not the horses fault to be left there, the guy who did this should be in jail for doing this, and never have a other animal in his care 😢
There are people working to change US law to reclassify horses and donkeys so they're not considered livestock and aren't just shipped to slaughter in Mexico or Canada.
@alisong2328 I am not from the U.S however I understand that the Amish society (maybe not all?) often mistreat and work their horses and other animals to death and dont feel the need to kerp up with medical issues etc. along with puppy breeding being a massive issue. Is anything being done to change these issues too?.
The UK where I'm from has a poor record for jailing those that mistreat, harm, and kill animals. It sickens me as there is at present not enough of an effective deterrent until this happens. I know it's not a permanent solution and educating people more would help but you can't fix stupid or callous people!
