The two types of people I truly hate on this show are the disrespectful squatters and people taking advantage of someone by not paying rent but refusing to leave the property..thinking it’s ok for them to live in someone house for free 😡
They talk about how very bad the property is just for them to not want to leave
The corrupt letting agents are awful, too. I'm glad they showed Mohammed's photo and named & shamed him here.

We have a guy in one of our rentals in the states who hasn’t paid in months. Didn’t bother to tell us he got fired in October and li e about where the rent is 1) he said the bank was frauded 2) he had some woman come on the phone to support his next lie saying her money and the rent money was in his truck and it got broken into: when we asked for a police report he didn’t have one. We hired someone to evict him and he pleaded with more time and the guy told him times up no more chances and he was filing today and said a cop be at the house Friday to serve him.
Crazy system that allows tennants so much power over landlords with the police having also very little power.
It's the same way in the United States and it can take over a year to get them out. Sometimes they take over Million Dollar homes and in some states the police can't do anything while the people inside are destroying the house😡‼️

It is the same way in the US, and Canada. Property are treated as if they are a lower form of life, and a governments lack of help, reinforces that status.
One problem in the UK was that tenants could only get social housing if physically evicted. In the US, having an eviction on your record keeps you from getting Section 8 housing.
Having an eviction on your rental history makes it harder for you to rent anywhere.
Yep and you lose your voucher if you're evicted while on section 8
Once you get a possession order, why should you have to pay another 1,000 for a bailiff? Police should just kick them out, absolutely ridiculous.
Because the government considers evictions as civil rather than criminal. If you stay in a hotel and fail to pay you will be summarily evicted and held responsible for the charges and any damage. Why is cheating a landlord any different? The council keeps calling these people “tenants “….tenants pay rent. These people are squatters and thieves.
Right
It would be helpful if u can attach the next episodes at the end of your videos cos not all of them can be found under your channel playlist 😳 thanks very much for all your interesting & informative videos
Imagine the guy you rented the place to gets 5 people to pay him, yet you can't get the tenant to pay you. Allowing a man to owe so much rent is unbelievable
I don't think he allowed it. Who would allow it? Except those people who bought the house from the owner then let him live there for 10 years without rent. Now those people allowed it.
21:00 Nothing makes me more mad than when I see someone owes money to me or someone else, and they have nice expensive things in their drive or house. Nice little Beemer sitting in the drive
I always look forward to your regular videos; Thanks for showing them.
The legal system has nothing to do with justice and fairness
I don’t blame Nita wants her flat back. It’s lovely and the free loader that feels entitled because she breathes oxygen Nita should take care of her. If these types of people are imprisoned for a year or two…it will send a message.
She made the place so beautiful & homely! You can tell when someone loves their home!
The problem with the state of sublet and overcrowding is that many of these ppl come from realitys we cannot imagine.
Their idea of housing and living conditions are lightyears from ours.
Thank you. I'm glad somebody actually mentioned that part. Although there are plenty of other individuals who obviously are not from other countries, we don't understand
that these folks have no flooring, no running water, no toilets, no food. So for them this is heaven..Unless you've been to one of these countries you can't possibly know what their living conditions are like.I'm not saying it's okay but I'm saying that the living conditions they are under now far I surpass what they were forced to live in before.
Chris Sharpe is my favourite landlord advisor ❤
Do any of the landlords in the UK have insurance?
We have insurance that protects us from a lot of these issues. We had to evict a tenant which was awful and time consuming. He left the place in a dreadful state but thankfully insurance covered the damages. They also cover if rent not paid (over a certain amount).
I don't understand, why don't they just make the appt with the Bailiff as soon as they get the 14 day notice? I mean, 99% of rhese people require Bailiffs to leave and there seems to be a wait-list to get them to come. Just make the appt! 🤷🏼♀️
Here in the USA with the $350 we paid the professional evictor , it included filing fees and constable . When we get possession I don’t know if we have to pay for the constable to throw his 💩out on the curb but the cop goes inside with the tenant and gives them 15 minutes to get their valuables and we start bagging stuff and tossing it out for pickers - we are changing the locks on him too when he’s evicted because he illegally changed the locks and refused to give us a key. She better stop harassing the tenant, in the states if the tenant can prove you harassed them they can get 3 free months of rent
So sad when a landlord's only source of income is the rental property they own. If their tenant loses their job, then the landlord might have to get a job to actually support themselves! Unfair!
so when ppl owe back rent, you have to go to court to get the money ? why can't they just garnish their wages ? landlords have no rights...its ridiculous what they have to go thru...😮
How would wages be garnished without going to court in the first place?
@@VladmirPoopN It should be a stipulation in the agreement that an attachment of earnings or benefits if they refuse to pay or leave without paying. This problem is so easy to solve but governments actually enjoy unfairness.
@BlueIvysAssistant You obviously don't understand what I mean.

UK probably have the dumbest rules on being a landlord .. i need to move to the UK so i live for free
In Italy is even better! We don't have bailist or whatever is called.
The US and Canada have even dumber rules on being a landlord and far worse laws for enabling squatting.
@@MrFraccalassit's "bailiffs" and they're related to the police.
I asked Google about bailiffs in Italy and it said: "Yes, Italy has bailiffs, called ufficiale giudiziario, who are public officers that work with district courts to enforce court orders...." // How do you not know what goes on in your country lol

2:44 Not me thinking a member of the blue man group was living there before realizing the glass was tinted blue! 😂
Landlord [after making 5 people homeless]: "I feel really happy now!"
Time line 6 weeks? Ridiculous
The only ones who get ahead are the lawyers
36:31 that guy handles everything SO BAD.. He goes off at them screaming right away like they been in on it all.. but he dont know if they been in on it or not.. He does everything like he WANTS a fight.. extremly confrontational & aggitated.. That will make others react by getting defensive in an at least similar aggressive way..
my thoughts exactly
People from others countries come to take others' people home, wake up 👎
It is so obvious!!
That's actually very insightful regarding the war in Palestine. Except they are also being murdered.
People come and go from countries all the time. They move to my country work hard and do what we all do, rent or purchase a property. No one is stealing our homes. There are many people willing to work harder than the next guy to earn the things they want. We all live on planet earth.
Why are these landlords waiting so long to evict people 😡
because they renter lies and says the rent is comming so they wait and hope
Seeing Nisha SO happy made me smile 😊
Im curious, I know most lets are by the week. Can you pay for a month at once, like we do in the US
What?
Rents are monthly in the UK.
The only places doing weekly rents are places where you rent a room in a house, not the entire house and even then, most of those are monthly rents.
Fk, Andy's situation is so scary .
12:00 it’s been a pleasure to meet you, of course it has, the guy is a paying customer
These people need to start serving jail sentences, not bills. All they're doing is creating the problem by solving the problem if that make it makes any sense.
Whats crazy is they give them weeks and then another paper and more weeks now she is put out you have to wait 6 weeks for bailiff crazy and everyone knows this so they just stay you eveict them you have to go months trying to get them out its insane change the laws
Invade india and africa, what could go wrong? England; Hold my beer.
That last one should not have been allowed to move one thing!! Until the right time but that day!!!!!!!!
Im confused I thought the show was filmed in Britain
Lol, it was but it's not the Britain we all know from the 80's/90s
Is this show shot in the UK or India ??
Hire my friends and i we'll deal with those non paying tenants . Sounds like under served business opportunity
Sharpe by name, Sharpe by nature
The guy that rented to his friend, who, in return sublet five people needs to talk to them directly. I bet anything they had no idea, and they’ve paid the guy and are frustrated/Now having to hurry and figure something else out and come up with the money to move. maybe he could get them to just pay him directly.
The more of the "nightmare tenants" part is that you just don't get into the business of renting if you don't know all the risks and can't handle them.
Simple. Be. Careful. Who. You. Let. Rent. From. You
I cannot believe the audacity of these tenants thinking they can stay in someone else`s property for free. The absolute cheek and the way they treat these landlords is disgusting. There would be no way i would be a landlord in the U.K.Laws are tougher hear in Australia for non paying tenants.I really feel for these landlords as it is causing them financial ruin to get these freeloaders removed. The laws really needs to change in the U.K. and not benefit the tenant who is not paying rent.
I'm just figuring out the "translation" for all these homes (UK-US english 😊) Nita's home (Flat) is what we, in the US call a Condo ??? Flat, Council House, Bungalow 🤪
Council house or housing is a house or block of condo’s that’s meant for someone who either has a “connection” to the area in question, or in most cases is meant for people who are on the low income scale, so it becomes “affordable housing” for people who would otherwise be homeless. Bungalows are single storey houses/buildings, if they are single storey houses/buildings, but have some sort of loft or attic then it’s referred to as a chalet bungalow in uk terms
@@TheGr8Cahooty
Ok, Thank you very much!😊
That should be faud tak8ng money off people and paying the rent to the landlord. The laws should be changed to help the tenners who have their property sublet
Counties like Britain has enough problems like housing shortage without allowing more problems migrating in to blow this up even more. Crime, housing issues, 📈
Stuff would be taken out and piled on the street!!
And then you'd be paying thousands to the tenant.
Don't call in the bailiff's pay a few do as you likeys cheaper and quicker
OVER HERE IN THE UNITED STATES ONCE THE TENANT HAS BEEN SERVED WITH THE EVICTION NOTICE, THE PROPERTY MANAGER & THE POLICE HAVE EVERY LEGAL RIGHT TO ENTER AND FORCE THE TENANT OUT. IF THE TENANT REFUSES TO LEAVE THE TENANT CAN BE ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL TRESPASSING & BURGLARY & DISORDERLY CONDUCT & FAILURE TO COMPLY& LEGALLY SUED IN THE CIVIL COURT FOR ANY AND ALL PAST RENT & DAMAGES
My friend & his parent had an investment unit. I convinced her that we would help her move with a free van to move her stuff. 0800 rocks up & they had access to the unit - locks were changed as new moving boxes slotted together whilst she packed up. The $100 in fuel & 2 hours of time was worth the hassle as I drove the van to her sister's home. Later the unit was scrubbed clean & painted. They were lucky as this was a toxic tenant but was willing to leave after repaying all the rent owed if she was helped to move. No Fuss ................ this time.
You were lucky. One episode here showed a guy who paid the tenants $400 to leave, but they moved back again and he had to go to court to get them out. Because his agreement had been unofficial, he lost the $400 and more money in legal fees.
Housing isn't an investment.
It's for families to raise their children in.
I'm so glad I get to see these "bad" landlord stories.
@@TheTacticalHaggis Actually it is both a service by providing a place to live. This was both their retirement funds & meant as their income rather than live off a pension from their taxes.
If nobody wants to rent out a property there will be way more homeless. Lots of reasons for being a landlord and lots of reasons for renting as opposed to owning a home.
@@TheTacticalHaggis😂...so housing IS an investment
DONT FORGET TO USE AD BLOCK ON TH-cam, CENSOR THEM THE WAY THEY CENSOR OTHERS
Just boggles the mind why these bottom feeders think it's the landlords problem that they "have no where to go", fight with boyfriend, lost their job, ... The landlords also have bills to pay, mortgage, barrister fees, taxes, etc., Never ever ever rent to friends, employees, or family; never ends well. Also, all landlords must check their properties more frequently, if unable to, hire a property land group agency. Just imagine, these tenants sublet your place AND build illegal structures without your knowledge. You could lose your property as it is your responsibility.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times . if the government won’t help you , do it yourself . hire some people to get them out. Especially when the government keeps giving these freeloaders more rights than the people who own the properties.
And then you'll end up paying the tenants thousands in return.
I'm glad nobody listens to the advice of a loser like you.
I can't watch the live cuz you didn't give permission for it to be seen in the USA
Honestly , I would rather not rent from a private landlord who owns one or properties because if something happens in their private lives and they end up without a place to live themselves you're going to have to move out whether or not you've been paying the rent on time and in full. I think that people who rent property in this manor should own where they live and should own the property they are renting out. Nisha would have had that person move out whether or not they were paying the rent. It's just convenient that the tenant wasn't paying the rent. They would have had to leave anyway. So it came down to whether or not Nisha was getting as much money as she needed to rent out a place for herself where she herself would have felt comfortable living, as well as earning some profit. Don't get me wrong, I think that people should absolutely pay for where they lay.
I'm 9 minutes in. I feel bad for Nisha and Zaneeta. Bad situation. Splitting from a partner. All info aside, it's kind of bad practice of you rent a place out and then tell your tenant they have to move because you want to live there again. After soo long too. If zaneeta paid her rent, I would have been on her side. Bur Nisha is the owner and has full rights to her property. I'm siding with Nisha.
they dont belong in europe, prove me wrong.
14 days and all that stuff is left? it's garbage. chuck it in the bin. the uk has way to lenient laws against trespassing and squatting.
I have watched so many episodes from this series
And all of the so-called lawyers that are meant to be helping them
They all fail to tell the landlords that there is another option that will enable them to get the propertys back within 24h of the posesean order being made
All the have to do is upgrade the Court order to a higher Court
And the high Court will order the high Court enforcement officers to go and take immediate posesean of the property within 24h
The high Court enforcement officers have a lot more legal power than the county court officers have and the eviction is immediate the are given one hour to get there stuff out of the property
Then they must make an appointment with the landlord and the high Court enforcement officers to collect the rest of their stuff
WRONG.
In this very episode, the lawyer suggested taking it to the bailiffs, the wait time/backlog was 6 weeks.
Try paying attention before offering your useless opinion, k?
At 33:50 this is the reason the US has the second amendment. They break through the door and it’s time for a permanent sleep
I bet many dont pay back rent.
Misha does your flat have fire insurance just an idea
The last family just israeled their way in
Mohammed has a LOT to answer for.
What disturbs me is the people the evictions due to sub standard properties. They don't even get notice, "It could be a fire hazard". There's insulation in that building they call the wooden shed. No, it's not ideal, but it might be all they can get and you know what is worse, homelessness. I have lived in a tent due to a housing crisis.. there's no insulation there either, or toilet, kitchen, electricity..
Burning to death in a house fire is far worse than living on the streets
In the US we call it trespassing and they have to go! They are squatters and have zero rights!!!
Anyone else think Zenita was high? She was weirdly twitchy
The condition of the women property was really bad. Just giving the keys to a stranger with no securities, just like that?
One room better than living on the street. If you are going to toss them out then find another room for them
