i think the fact spirits can just change from primary to support reveal some interesting facts about how the game was programmed they made it so all spirits are created in an oop format so they can easily add more or change ones that have already been asigned a type

What if you gave Spirits some properties they had in their battle. For Ashley’s spirit you can try making her give enemies the random chance of right to left and left to right, For the Smashball spirit their can be random chance of a final smash or Windfish makes stage platforms have the sleep effect. Other questions I would have would be if Wol’s Map is also an unselect able stage as fighters are able to use their run and jump animations their. What if the Ultimate Chimera from New Pork City was able to last forever and walk around any part of the stage it would want. Or can you make a path the Ultimate Chimera can follow on other stages like Big Blue, Mute City, Mario Galaxy or Mushroomy Kingdom.
Are the spirits with traits that are usually 2 or 3 slots only 1 slot because it would be neat to see stuff like armor knight + auto heal + poison heals on a poison fog/floor fight
Yeah, it's actually pretty neat. I edited Galeem to three slots, replaced its original skill to [Super Armor] and edited some skills to only 1 slot cost. Pretty OP.
Can you show the Pauline Primary Spirit or any Support-->Primary Spirit when using the spirit board, since it shows your character and primary spirit along with your opponent's
One thing interesting that i found was that nana is invincible to some final smashes like joker and ridley, so I think it would be nice if you access nana's files to see what exactly makes her invincible at certain final smashes
How about giving a spirit multiple abilities? Or making it take up 0 loadout slots? Or editing a saved loadout to bypass the game crashing when you try to use more than 4 spirits? Maybe something with Amiibo editing and the fact they can inherit Spirit abilities?
Tried that, all spirits have two skills slots one says [unique ability] and the other just says [ability], [Unique ability] takes priority, and such the second ability will have no effect. Also, editing an ability cost to "0" still consumes a slot.
4 support slot is possible in vanilla because of most spirits having a stat increase and you could just changed the buff like changing absolutely safe capsule with super armor
Equipping Primary Spirits as Support Spirits seems to work quite well. This makes me think that, perhaps, being able to equip any Spirit as either Primary or Support was a planned feature at one point.

Ok so looks like the max amount of any skill you can have on is 4 of them. In that case, I think stacking ridiculous buffs on top of eachother 4 times can give a crazy result. For example, what if you made Black Knight a single slot support spirit, giving his armor knight ability, then gave Safe capsule 3 support slots and change it's ability also to Armor Knight (if possible) and give it brick wall style, resulting in Safe capsule (brick wall, Armor knight) + 3 Black Knights. now you might be thinking well seagull what's the point of that, and the point is Armor Knight has the highest defense multiplier in the game when it comes to spirit abilities. Your defense will be so high you'll take like 1 damage or less from a no-spirit ganon warlock punch. Highest possible defense you can get with spirits without actually changing values. If you want, you can even just give it 10,000 attack while you're at it and make the ultimate powerhouse because armor knight also increases your attack, just not as much.
Yeah that sounds pretty good, I put 30k Atk/Def on Galeem, switched its original skill to [Super Armor] and reduced [Auto Heal] [Great auto heal] and [Double Final Smash] to it. The heels are pretty much unecessary as a smash attack held for one second almost always K.O's.
This makes me wonder: does the lifesteal ability-which only primary spirits can typically give you-stack if you have multiple support spirit versions equipped?
would it be possible to either take or deal 0 or negative damage? And would it also be possible to make the fall speed 0 or negative so you never go downwards? like what the gravity dojo and floaty fall stuff does but pushed even further?
It'd be interesting to have a spirit with +10k Atk and -10k Def and do a multiplayer match with each player using them, the ultimate one-touch deathmatch. Like sudden death but more entertaining deaths and with multiple lives.

Moving stuff around is easy, the game will always handle that fine.
There just isn't any architecture for a fourth slot, so calling one errors out.
Probably fixed the slots to a maximum of 3, so trying to access the 4thbslot throws an "Inded Out Of Range" error immediately.
It may also overflow the index value from 11 to 100, potentially breaking adjacent code
