To answer a few more questions that I saw in this comment section:
- Rage only changes the knockback of a move and not the damage
- The custom balance only changes the attack power, so setting Shulk's balance to 70% wouldn't change anything
- Riki only increases a fighters knockback and not the damage
- Doing this setup as Kirby gives Kirby another 1.2x multiplier but Kirby lacks the x1.3 multiplier from Sephiroth's winged form.
Would villager pocketing it and releasing it count as one move?
Although that would make it 3 player
What if you set shulk's balance to 130%? Would that increase buster's effect by 1.3x giving it a bit more punch?
Switching both characters out with Kirby having each ability? This might be modded in so don't know.
If modding is fine then put it in world of light with all buffs from the skill tree active then Have it on very easy and see what happens.
For increase Sephiroth's damages you could remove "demon style def" because his damage multiplyer is x0.8 so instead of increase his damages it's dividing those
For his neutral special, he wields a nuclear device

@@loligitime7157 yeah so how use the move is you unplug the switch plug it back in, break open the controller/ joycon fill it with a tooth pick blood and a feather black of course, you'll only need to use it once as its power is so big it takes out 99 stocks in a single move and kills the Player if Rng is on your side

*That Gigaflare was so powerful, that even while the game was at the slowest speed, I still couldn’t see Shulk flying off the screen*

@@chaosthebifurry1116 yeah i don’t think you did because after going frame by frame shulk flies off the screen in one frame and the camera can’t pan out fast enough to catch Shulk so he disappears in one frame

Not even in the more "balanced" world of Smash, as Pichu literally exists. In their own worlds, Kirby is most likely stronger. (edit: I will note that in both cases Sephiroth is easily top ten of the Smash roster.)

If you think about it, it's pretty fitting that the character with the highest single hit damage potential in the game is the final boss of a jrpg.

If you overlap Gardevoir (used by player 1) with player 2 swinging the Home run bat, it causes a reflection every frame until the game basically says it's done reflecting that projectile, which can vary depending on which projectile it is. You can do this while still only using one move (at least from Sephiroth) and possibly get even higher damage numbers than the home run bat method you showed because it'll be reflecting the maximum number of times the game allows that projectile to
Althrough Kazuya's Left Splits Kick is the strongest reflector in the game with a multiplier of 2.4×, though its unique command input can make it difficult to perform consistently.

Like, yeah, I'll just have all these things laying around so when my foolish friends decide to play with Paper Mario and I get the Vince assist trophy, while playing on this stage and getting the boost, they'll totally tank gigaflare. XD Not shitting on you, video creator, I'm just saying it's silly to say another version is nearly impossible outside training when I feel like this set up isn't exactly going to happen sporadically in casuals.

Might I add, you could use Akuma for your primary spirit and a grab type spirit for Shulk, as well as debuffing shulk if that allows him to take more damage
Akuma doesn’t have any slots for secondary spirits so it wouldn’t be as powerful

Can’t you do setups against incineroar’s revenge that let him get upwards of 90% in a single hit without spirits? So if we lose the fire bonus and the reflect multipliers, does that mean max revenge incineroar deals less?
Still less by a good amount.
You can't reflect Alolan Whip. The reflections add insane levels of damage.
Gigaflare's a multihit move I don't think revenge would get the full boost. At that point you'd be better off using something like Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, or Charge Shot.
I feel like they need to do this exact same test, but inside the giant rectangular block like the Max Aura Lucario and 999% damaged Pichu, see how much Shulk bounces around

When you choose Shulk with Papercraft Mario, and your friend chooses Sephiroth. The find Mii stage is selected, you get him to wing mode, then two badges drop, and the Vince assist trophy appears, just as the dark emperor buffs you both, and you enter buster mode: oh golly
