Even if you're at 30hp you'll get straight up to 120 just by absorbing (down b) one of their dash attacks or any of their projectiles. It's literally the easiest thing when you're ness/lucas. its quite the challenge playing it on hard WITH spirits honestly. That being said i've only had to lower the difficulty twice in the campaign to normal because i couldnt break thought after several hours
I've gone and done it and I've found that Lucas makes it so much easier, most of the really difficult stuff has some form of projectile the AI likes to use that you can heal off to stay in the fights, and his final smash can carry pretty much any opponent to the blast zone even with it being metered, so it makes most fights a matter of survival.
7:48 I was watching Jojo's adventure and Joseph yelled "rebuff overdrive!" Right when Little Macs punch released and it was just an awesome thing to witness.
Basically go to one of the sides of the map and just spam down+b (the reflector). In my case all the megamans just died by using the blaster or the bombs. Remember to change sides when they get too close because then they will use the other non-proyectiles attacks. Also pray that the game doesn't drop a sword and ruin the whole strategy.
Use a spirit that equips you with the staff like Cupid. then shoot Peach off the stage. You and peach just have to be on opposite edges of the stage though, because the staff is the strongest the farthest away you are from the enemy. This is a well proven cheese-method because I had to Google how to beat that fight. and found this method
enan bnorn a youtuber called PKBeats tested this. In any custom battle (this includes world of light) you *can* get metal slash but it’s probability of getting it is lowered.
Playing big Little Mac through spirits feels like playing Blossom in Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion. Shoutout to the OG fans that get that reference.
I suggest use the Great Zapfish(makes you giant) then use Fiona (makes you metal) with your ability to have super amor when using charged smash attacks. This pretty much makes you invincible.
Lucas is the best character for me when playing against dr wily because as the mega mans spammed their guns constantly I’d use my down b which is a shield that turns their shots into health and it healed my stamina all the way back up and when they weren’t paying attention I’d constantly spam my pk fire and pk freeze
I used an anti metal spirit and just spammed up B with Kirby. Shit was still hard. This is the most BULLSHIT challenge imo. Just troll level of difficulty it feels that was thrown in there. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if the number of Megamans you gotta beat wasn't absurdly high. I mean nine...NINE SAKURAI???? As Reggie once said "What's wrong with you?"
