I used a spirit for giant and metal transformation , with a main spirit for extra transformation duration, using bowser
Does yoshi egg lay work? I've used that to cheese everything else I struggled with.
Viridi is a great spirit to use. Her ability is metal killer

One of the many reasons I love little Mac on high maps is cuz you just get on a high platform and punch people to the moon with the uppercut

The true one punch mac is Giga Mac spirit, special up, Majora's mask, and the happy mask salesman. With lvl 99 giga Mac a fully charged forward smash does 183% and kills (maximum in my research) and fully charged neutral special does 203% (maximum in my research)

For those of you stuck on the megaman level. You go Lucas or Ness! Even if you're at 30hp you'll get straight up to 120 just by absorbing (down b) one of their dash attacks or any of their projectiles. It's literally the easiest thing when you're ness/lucas. Hope this helps some of you because I also struggled at first.
I just put on the franklin badge and let it carry me through most of the fight.

Exactly what I did. Dr Wily may be an ass to fight, but Lucas made it sooooooo much easier.
Just unlock Viridi first.
Metal killer gives you basically an auto-win on that level.

Tips to beat Dr. Wily in Smash even without spirits or in hard mode
1. Use a character that can heal from projectiles like Ness or Lucas by using their psi magnet
2. Use Captain Falcon's falcon kick to knock Megaman off the map and try to down-attack Megaman to make sure Megaman doesn't have enough height to use his dog to recover
3.use fox or Falco for the shield that can knockback projectiles and spam his side b special move

its quite the challenge playing it on hard WITH spirits honestly.
That being said i've only had to lower the difficulty twice in the campaign to normal because i couldnt break thought after several hours
I did Wily on hard as marth and I had to resort to ledge camping
I've gone and done it and I've found that Lucas makes it so much easier, most of the really difficult stuff has some form of projectile the AI likes to use that you can heal off to stay in the fights, and his final smash can carry pretty much any opponent to the blast zone even with it being metered, so it makes most fights a matter of survival.
That Saturn way of torturing you in hell if you play smash

@@danielbrookes7184 use reflector lol. They're almost all Megaman.
Basically go to one of the sides of the map and just spam down+b (the reflector). In my case all the megamans just died by using the blaster or the bombs. Remember to change sides when they get too close because then they will use the other non-proyectiles attacks. Also pray that the game doesn't drop a sword and ruin the whole strategy.

If you combine Min-Min with the Greatzapfish spirit and set Min-Min’s Arm too the yellow one, you can do what he’s doing. You can also throw in the Pearl and Marina spirit too.
