    First I want to say what a super creative way to play Kylo Ren and still incorporate very cool villain cards.
    I love reanimating decks, my usual go to, and I will definitely be building this soon.
    Awesome showcase and I wanted to mention that I miss when people do deck profiles with their physical collector cards. I want to see your nice foils and money cards pls :)

      Thank you so much! Hope it works well for you! And I totally get it on the physical cards thing - in this case, I just prefer a clean edited style but I've definitely watched plenty of "laying em out" style profiles too. Maybe I can do another when I get my deck hyperfoiled out...!

    Shocked to not see force throw. It’s a great control tool and I consider currently the best force payoff card in the game. Regardless, great deck. Appreciate the thoughts. Love the podcast 👊🏻

      I had played Force Throw in several iterations - I'm a big fan of the card normally, but in this case, it always felt like the stars had to really align for it to not be an inferior removal event. You already have the ability to pitch Palps when you need them, so you need to 1. draw Force Throw, 2. also have drawn/held a Palp and not pitched it earlier, 3. have a target that needs to take more damage than what any other card could do in that situation (e.g. Lightning or Choke), 4. Not be too resource strapped afterwards spending 2 cards for the 1 unit, and 5. Not be so late in the game that playing Palpatine/Kylo/Vader is just better anyway. Each of those parts have different probabilities, for sure, but combined I found it made the card *most commonly* just a clunky play in this deck!
      It did go from Mainboard, to Sideboard, to cut, unfortunately! I just like it better in decks where its primary use is targeting the opponent, where they can leverage enough other discard effects to make it more consistently a 2-for-1 play rather than usually a 1-for-2.

    Ramp kylo is fun not for late game but an ecl super laser tech allows kylo deploy turn 2 and you can force throw a palps return target for damage or force choke for 1 it’s so good

      My main issues in my testing were that SLT removed your ECL use and did very little to impact the board, making it's impact against aggro decks too small and giving them too much ground. With no way to restore damage dealt, it felt like it was giving up too much. And I've wanted to like Throw in here, but always felt using Throw on my own cards was losing too many cards in an already card-strapped deck. But if you've had success with those here, that's awesome!

      Coming out a turn early puts too many cards in your hand and makes kylo weaker

      @@Ryguy0707 kylo’s stats aren’t really what’s important, it’s the early force enabling he drops to force throw. Coming out as a 3/4 is good enough turn 2 because you’ll get value out of him early, he isn’t useful even at 5/4 late game anyways

    I know this is a couple of weeks old but if you only have 2 vaders and 2 kylos, what would be decent replacements? Maul feels wrong 🤔

      I think Maul is a great option in that case! You want to try to enable Returning T5 as much as possible and even with almost nothing to redirect to, he can still have an outsized impact on the board then.

    Hiya, I´ve been trying to run this deck for a while, both live and Karabast and I have to say...Yeah, it´s fun, it can suprise many people by no-agro Kylo mode :D and it has really a nice toolset to work with.
    Although I struggle with a few things, so you might give me a few advices :D
    1) Blue. Just Blue Bossk, Qira and so - you know the drill. Basically I cant "break" the control and removal and then boom!, Avenger and I usually have no leverage to that late game play
    2) Sabine is usually a little faster than I can be :D
    But the biggest issue, that I have is that the deck is good, but it is usually outperformed by the others. Any tips?

      Blue can be challenging but comes down to trying to use your Returns to out-attrition them in the late game. You *can* sometimes try to press advantage early and get aggressive, especially if you can keep a Silencer in space or something, but more often than not the game will go late. When it does, Lightning is your out to Avenger, so saving the Kylo flip for late if you don't need it early can let you set that up, or just trying to hold down enough units to avoid sacrificing your Force unit can work if you can set up Vaders. You really have to resource smartly and try to hold on to your late game threats so you actually *can* play more than them - but if this match is continuing to challenge you, you can side in Reinforcement Walkers to give you more late game push.
      Sabine is 100% about just trading for everything she plays, and using Choke at the exact right time. Use your Kylo aggressively to keep units off the board, and never let her stick something for multiple turns. Identify early which card is your answer to Sabine when she flips and try to prevent Darksaber from landing on her. Your goal is to simply survive until T6, at which point as long as your health is 10 or above you should have no trouble winning. Some hands are better for this than others, so Mulligan aggressively but at the end of the day it's hard aggro, so sometimes they get the nuts and you don't!

    I was planning on making a Kylo Blue/Red deck, but I may need to try this first.

      I've been looking a little at the Blue/Red version but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. My main issue is I really want to be able to Ambush with Rey or Kylo to get the guaranteed value out of them, and there's no way to do that! If you end up with a list, feel free to send it my way!

      T1 is rarely a huge issue. Skipping t1 for control decks is pretty common - if you don't start with initiative, taking it going into t2 is perfectly fine!

    Great video! I've been having a lot of fun with a similar build. Have you tried incorporating Maul in the mix for the 7-power ambush? What were your results there?

      I've toyed with Maul a bit, and I think he's a really valid sideboard option, but I've generally found the 7 damage was less important than, ex., hitting 8 with Kylo for Vader, etc. Even by the time you can reanimate him, if Boba is still out, you are in trouble, so it's just rarely felt like the right targets were out there for him to really be as useful as the other options.
