Having not watched the video yet, the critters you really need are Mincinno and Pikipek, they’re actually so good in pokerogue, multihit moves are so good
Tip: TYPE: NULL IS BUSTED. It gets Dire Claw as an egg move, which is busted. Also, its just good in general? Good typing (NORMAL) and good stats. (Fast and physically strong)
It’s definitely not fast lol , pretty sure type null has around base 60 speed

Honestly, that eevee on the thumbnail is taking that situation really well. If i was told to fight a giant dragon literally glowing with power, I'd be a mess.
Never forget, pokemon you couldnt get by, you can still just catch em then immediately release, you still get xp and you didnt USE it, or full party, just catch it and it never joins your team......

Personally I’m a fan of starting with furfrou on mono normal. Fur coat makes it quite bulky and it gains reliable recovery from its egg moves

Won a run with Noctowl, its egg mobe boomburst is absolute insane, especially with its other egg move espenwing for psychic coverage and speed boost

Without resets, this game is extremely difficult. With resets it’s pretty easy to beat imo
My starter of choice is kantonian meowth with technician, pay day for money early on and fake out all the way to mid-endgame
Pickup is also great, though mostly later on once more pokemon have items

I used a Litleo/Arbolivia/Galar Goon combo of starters. I caught some other stuff too but I forgot what to be honest. I know I had a Staraptor.

When you get catch a pokemon it takes the items from the released one so you don't lose anything

I've been trying this exact same challenge and I got to floor 195 on one run. Hisuian Zoroark is a lifesaver.
Hey I found a nice cheat win in endless for eternutus, if you splice any primary fairy type with heatream w/ flash fire you have complete immunity to all damage. Just need a few dot to go with it.
Can also use tinkaton klefkey or zacian, you can set up on the first phase
I have attempted this, failed miserably but got much farther then I had guessed for my first attempt.
fun fact: partner eevee is stronger than g-eevee
I still remember when i did this challenge, Ursaluna and Linoone(Hoenn) carry me, the Linoone has Pick Up, so he was loaded of berries, Eternatus hit him and i just let him do his thing, lets just say that Eternatus didn't end well against that possum

Mewtwo is a first stage pokemon, and I can beat PokeRogue with Mewtwo alone, so it's pretty easy actually. However, beating PokeRogue with only starters that originally cost 1 point is probably harder than just using first stage pokemon.
Now beat Pokerouge without using Pokémon
