Do a few build up videos first, where there is a twist but it isn’t revealed until the end
Make a whole bunch of weird plays throughout, making subtle nods to what the twist _might_ be, just for it to be nothing
Don't forget all the foreshadowing as well
I remember MandJTV doing this for an april fools joke. He made a video called: "can you beat Pokemon Platinum?"

The best part of this video for me was having it play in the background while doing other things and then during the elite four stopping and going “wait is that 50 Ways to Say Goodbye chiptune?”
I can just imagine Geeta sitting there horrified while Suki continually sets up, gets ko’d, and comes back just to do it all over again

Guard Swap doesn't give the opponent your defensive stats, it only trades stat *stages*, so it only matters if you (or your opponent) have +/- to your defensive stats.
That final focus blast redeemed all focus misses throughout showdown’s lifespan
I did this as a modified nuzlocke in pokemon emerald once, where everything had metronome and instead of losing when you wiped you had to refill on pokemon you could catch from adjacent areas and try again. The goal was to beat the elite four before you ran out of box space. It was extremely funny.

Unlike Speed Swap, Guard Swap switches stat changes to Def and SpDef, not the stats themselves. So unless Blissey and/or Glimmora had boosted or lowered Def or SpDef, the move did nothing.

25:12 Guard Swap swaps stat changes, not the stat itself, so it's also useless unless Suki had boosted her defense or special defense. It would have been a problem had she rolled Guard Split though (averages your defense and special defense with the target's).

Always funny that Pokemon remains a game full of glitches and exploits allowing you to do almost anything in it. People laugh when looking back on gen 1-3 games. Then you realize despite making billions of dollars in one the most successful games/anime ever the company still can't program a game properly.

Once I was shiny hunting Dondozo and my Tinkaton had metronome. I found the shiny and I decided, why not? Dondozo is tanky and I was also very tired (4 am) Metronome summoned EXPLOSION. yeah... my most stupid shiny fail
