This happened to me recently in Target. He actually stopped me and said “You are so beautiful” I smiled and said thank you. But I kept walking because he had no follow up. So I said aww he was probably nervous so I circled the isle like I forgot something and gave eye contact. He then approached me. Been talking since.

I think looks are not of high value to me. Its something of a bare minimum, prerequisite. I need to like how you look so I wanna see you all the time. But beyond a certain point, being immensely handsome isnt giving more interest points. I need knowledge of his other characteristics to be able to think I like the person. I've learned that a simple uninvested smile and "hello" bypasses all of this. Used to get called arrogant when in reality I was super shy tryna hold it together. Both sexes do this to each other for various reasons that add up to us not wanting to look stupid. We all know it's rough out here. I promise you eye contact, a smile and a basic "hello" will melt the ice. It doesn't mean you're going to be calling that person's phone later. I was discussing this yesterday. Women would openly speak to the people in front of me in line at the store, but when it's my turn, they turn super dry like they're trying to downplay my presence. It's Hella rude. I used to feel bad about it until a beautiful lady explained the nature of women 2 me. If you are really handsome as a man, very attractive women will give you strong eye contact and vibes 2 let you know they're interested, because they think you are on the same level as them to a degree. It's the ones who are not as confident that downplay your qualities so that you don't feel superior or so they don't feel inferior. But if you break the ice or kiss up 2 them a lil bit, they soften up too. I prefer confident women with a balanced self esteem. No need to put me down so that we can be on the same level.

I've learned that a simple uninvested smile and "hello" bypasses all of this. Used to get called arrogant when in reality I was super shy tryna hold it together. Both sexes do this to each other for various reasons that add up to us not wanting to look stupid. We all know it's rough out here. I was discussing this yesterday. Women would openly speak to the people in front of me in line at the store, but when it's my turn, they turn super dry like they're trying to downplay my presence.
