If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.

I think the green condo building at the bottom of soi 8 is in a good location, in the middle of everything but still quiet and with a view of the park

how bad is the rain there? I found a ticket that leaves on the 21st of august but worried I might fly into a typhoon or something..
Also thanks for showing those hotel options at 6:02 - I was looking for a short stay accommodation with a kitchen but could not find one until I saw this!!

The airlines do a pretty good job of avoiding severe weather. But, the trip is worth a little turbulence. If the flight is the concern, they won't fly into a storm. They'll delay the flight until they have acceptable weather to fly safe. That doesn't mean smooth, it means "acceptable"
If you're talking about the rain in Bangkok, it hasn't been too bad. Mostly in the late afternoon or early evening. It didn't rain for about the last 30 hours. But, it is the rainy time. So it usually rains at least every other day. If not every evening. I wouldn't let a little rain slow you down. come have a great trip
