The thing about Bangkok is that it is such a big metropolitan city, that there is always something new and interesting to see, do, or place to visit, etc. I think its the best city in southeast Asia for size, virbancy, infrastructure, cost, etc... However, if the metric was just a more slick city where everything seemed super modern and cost wasn't a factor then maybe I'd go for Singapore or Taiwan.
