Maruti silently killing the EVs ❤😂
Series hybrid are best as they can be easily converted as PHEVS, the thing I like about hybrids is they are automatics and deliver mileage/average more than manual cars and more smoothness than conventional automatics.
👌👍. Soon hybrid will be just another choice of automatic like AMT, CVT, DCT or the good old torque converter. Only this one would be a more sensible one in not using more gears to go gearless.
But smoothness still depends on the driver😂.
Automatics just make it easy to drive smoothly. If driver is hellbent on enjoying the low end acceleration of evs hybrids then you are screwed😅😅.
@@inamdarkapil can you explain why screwed? If someone is enjoying low end acceleration, then battery should be less stressed. Also milage will be better. Why screwed?
@@vinso2388 Restless drivers will drive non smoothly regardless of vehicle.
A good manual driver can drive smoother than one driving ev.
Driving is just 10-20 percent about making the perfect shift/optimal gear, rest 80% is about going through traffic such that you and your passenger are safe and actually feel safe.
A driver on slow transmission may wait a moment before committing to stupid manuver, but one on ev/hybrid/supercar won't think.
@@inamdarkapil that is one way to look at it. But those experienced with Automatic Transmission should be fine.
Really wish Ertiga comes with strong hybrid in future (either series or parallel watever).
I wonder what would be the mileage if folks installed a cng kit
15 years ago chevy volt did the same thing
True, worthwhile mention.
It was too early to launch it in that era but now is the time.
@@movementbuilders8828 yeah it was great but im not sure i mean will fronx burn 1 liter or fuel for charging upto going 35km? If that is its great way to achieve max efficiency.
Chevy Volt was a plug-in hybrid.
@@shantanupawar3609 35 may be arai figure, real world city mileage being 25-30 kmpl, which is very good.
Can u guys pls make a detailed video of different types of hybrid vehicles in graphic or practical 🙏🏼
This millage ads are A scam in real life driving environment.
When will it be available? We can wait till december, should we wait more?
How to do emission test is series hybrids? Does they don't require like EVs?
Just don’t crash it 😅😂
Hello everyone,
Can anyone explain advantage & disadvantage between series & parellel hybrid cars?
what about expected price compared to present hybride system
Still, the DIESEL TURBOCHARGED is unbeatable for both Mileage and Power. 😊
but Ban is looming on all diesel vehicles(like 3-5 years our gov may impose a ban). As much as I would like to own a diesel car, risky hai boss,
They will be extinct in a few years
Come out of diesel mindset 😂
@rushabhchheda2582 Are you sure that there will be a Ban on Diesel cars? I thought the lower CCs like Vitara Brezza would always have a place in the market. Don't you think so? 🤔
@@soulful2665 It's not just about the Diesel Mindset; it's about the exhilarating driving experience you get when the turbo kicks in above 1500 RPM, delivering a surge in power even at higher speeds. Compared to present-day EVs and hybrids, Diesel Turbocharged vehicles offer unmatched high performance coupled with unbeatable fuel efficiency.
Can someone explain how. Combustion to wheels is 15kmpl and combustion to battery to wheels is 35kmpl? Couldn't get that.
👌👍. So this has to be a range extender working on a PHEV. Like the old i3.
The engine will be designed towards high efficiency at a low rpm and not concerned with performance. There will be no higher rpm or redlining, it will work at low rpm when charging and turn off when it's not charging.
@@vm-my6hg you can do all that but it still can't be that efficient.
Eg. A 60hp factory generator is only about 10% more efficient than a 60hp car.
Still don't get it. Basically we are putting efficiency in place of performance. Like a CNG car is it. Energy can only be transferred, not created is my understanding. Unless there is an extra source like plug in.
@@GbMuthu say one drives at fixed 1200-1500 rpm in top gear, they'll definitely get ~20 kmpl on a ciaz and ~25 on a swift. Add some more gain from start stop and other tech like regen and one gets to 30 or more kmpl in urban scenarios.
Nissan launched this type of hybrid car ages ago, but sadly not available in India
I'd rather pay for petrol than my life. Safercarsforindia
What about the Tax rate?
Nissan's epower.
I own the same ... Trust me milega is not that different from regular hybrid ice system
So basically like nissan e power.
I prefer the Series-Parallel Hybrid configuration for Hills.
For hills series would be better than SP. However on highways depending on the motor ratings and battery size in S hybrid, PS could fare better in terms of efficiency and top speed.
@@Liguritio SP is better as it can utilise the power of both electric motor and IC Engine in extreme conditions. In hills we don't usually pick Efficiency or Speed but prefer torque and continuous power... only after that we care for efficient engine😅.
@@vlramnghaka laughing 😆, S hybrid has better torque than SP for comparable size. What you need on hills is torque. If you don’t care about efficiency stick with normal ICE.
@@Liguritio That's why we generally EV's don't sell well on hills. ICE with manual gears are always first choice.
@vlramnghaka Still disagree. What you need on hills is more torque than power which hybrids or EVs do provide more than comparable petrol engines.
How about diesel hybrid
Thats how diesel locomotive works and i always had the doubt why cars didnt use similar technology
With electric motor remaining the only connection to the wheels & Without a multi speed gearbox, differentials or even the flywheel, series hybrids do look interesting in paper. Fact however remains that the electric motor cannot settle at a lower RPM during cruising speeds like an ICE. Series hybrids are therefore only efficient in city traffic.
It will be interesting to see if Maruti ditches the conventional ICE & goes for more radical Free Piston Linear Generators.
Mileage in that region a Fronx can return even with Suzuki's new Z12 mild hybrid Direct Drive CVT transaxle.
Diesel hydraulic locos ( torque converter) gave way to the Diesel electric loco ( series hybrid)
Sounds like performance is going to be quite terrible in any kind of situation that demands it, if the grand vitara is any indication. And atleast the engine and the motor are atleast allowed to work in unison in that application
This car will be a big hit.
This technology first started in railways after the steam engine, and today's diesel engines in railways have been working in a similar way for many years; It is certain that this technology was pioneered by Japanese companies in Four Wheeler!
With all the money that we Indian are buying maruti plus interest for taking auto loans please Suzuki don't be inhuman when comes to safety. You never send your cars for crash tests. When your are looting from Indian market then try to make safe car. I went to cheak fornx touch the roof from inside the car and got to know the quality. Why is painful to make safe car. Accidents can happen n we want to be safe. It's shame on you guys please send your car for crash test. Now that government mandar let's see how you guys perform. We don't expect to give a safety like Volvo cars but we expect you to make safe cars.
India will improve when people move away from this sheet metal company
best decision
With this sort of tech, they can add some body strength too.also thicker sheet metals. Tata is good in build ,but the rest are poor, like engine ,service , transmission etc.maruthi has some great engines,so if they add build quality too, then they're unstoppable
Sia unstoppable 😂😂
Picture shown below got swapped!
Can it be fitted in current model & there's no Maruti symbol mentioned anywr in these days of nexa cars,,so better can call it as suzukis.
Engine ❤ Maruti Suzuki ❤ Tata learn
and the indian jugaad will be to run petrol engine of hybrid cars on CNG
I'm sure CNG variants will be available sooner or later.
All this happening but they still don’t give 2 Fs about safety and NCAP ratings
They have already send their baleno brezza and GV to ncap, even a 4 star rated maruti can be better than a lot of cars in their competition
MS seems to have planned out to stay at the top of sales charts for another 20 years
Goats creating GOAT.
Its really great but what about carbon emissions? Emission on fossil fuels as well as through batteries 😱🤯🤯🤯
Maruti makes so hotty cars and off in boxes that they shud be barred from selling in India !
Already Nissan selling series hybrids
This is going to give nightmares for TATA.. if the pricing is going to be on par with ev.. no body going to buy ev..
The only problem with MS is the built quality...Otherwise engine 🔥🔥🔥
Tata going electric and Maruti betting on Hybrid
Other Indian brands are most likely to stick with electric because it is similar technology. Tata and mahindra will fall.if they won't develop strong hybrid technology. Ev can be a future but this technology is far reliable
My wagon r CNG gives me almost 35 kmpl, why this?
Don't buy 😂😂😂
Taking out 24.7kmpl from my Datsun go plus 2016 model. A simple 3cyl 1.2L dohc engine with E20 petrol giving such good mileage makes me concerned about why the hell so much of engine variations where as the point is just on PETROL!! is it a moto behind for the automobile sector and govt to build business on this issue. As today there are Petrol engines, petrol hybrid, mild and strong, CNG, EV, parallel, series etc. Can u imagine the situation a middle class has to go while dwelling with cars 😅🙏
Why even call it an engine then? It's an old-school generator, only with petrol instead of diesel. :)
2024 is still long way to be over. C'mon Maruti.
Just like Diesel locomotives... interesting...why can't they bring this technology earlier
wayyyyyy better than electric. HYBRID all the way
I wonder how un-intresting the drive experience might get if the Electric Motors are soggy and unresponsive.... In that case may CNG save us.
Finally Suzuki will switch from steel body to cardboard.
Hybrid>>> Electric
That's not the real world figures.... I own an e-power Qashqai that is exactly the same thing. Real world figures are not that impressive.
Sirf hybrid se kaam nahi chalega....yeh Korean companies ko 5 star rating car bhi banani padegi for Indians. They are using our steel to make their country and providing low and bad quality things in India and charging us high for cheap and low material quality
Then it'll be either a plug in, or something with π (3.14)horsepower 😂 barely stronger than an e rickshaw. There's no ther way to justify the efficiency
Guarantee hai Atkinson cycle hi hoga
Ofcourse
Good that they took a stand on hybrids, hopefully govt rationalizes tax structure for hybrids and not just favor tara/mahendra on their ev plans.
Sorry why should Hybrid be given tax benefits, we want Zero import of crude oil that is the reason we are giving tax Benefits to EV.
We are still using petrol in this, so what Tata is asking is right, what MS doing is wrong, let them come to EV space as well who stopped them ?
@@VikasJaink let's be realistic, we'll be importing crude for at least 1-2 decades if not more. We even import coal! The tax incentive is primarily towards reducing carbon emissions. When we don't have the lithium, cobalt or charging infra now to support millions of EVs, why not use those effectively to reduce both crude imports and emissions ? A single Nexon EV's battery is the same as 10-20 strong hybrids which will have much better fuel efficiency and lesser emissions than basic ICE cars. The tax incentive has to be linked to emission reduction, not the same 5% as EVs.
Maybe some years down the line we can have EVs or biofuel or hydrogen cars as primary means. For now though, we need a bridge that I believe is hybrids.
I'm all for 2-3 wheeler now being majorly transitioned to EVs since they are almost always used in urban areas but cars and larger vehicles need more flexibility and infra.
@@VikasJainkhybrid is a much reliable and practical technology right now, and we know that Govt keeps the taxes high for such things like taxes on hybrides or high taxes on imported cars to pamper their local brands, its the reason why many good brands left India
With a solar roof will be a game changer
Without safety all feature is nonsense... Jaan Hai toh Jahan Hai
Marketing gup and gas as usual
Maruti suzuki produces a tin
Yet they sell their cars in lakhs, so who do you really blame the company that understands the Indian market and sells the product accordingly or the average consumer that is worried about fuel economy and car prices ?
Maruti cars are very unsafe.
Don't call it a Maruti. It's just Suzuki now.
Series hybrid's power sucks!!
and many of us will not want to drive those lazy engines ...
They should focus on build quality....rest its a good brand atleast 4 stars would be appreciated
We don't trust
My Baleno CNG delivers 36 KM/KG
I dislike Tata, but they are making other brands use better build and focus on structural integrity where as I also dislike Maruti for being cheap but they are pushing for economy and hybrid and other vendors will surely adopt once people vote with their wallet. Wish MG, Hyundai or at least Skoda and others would follow soon.
1. How would this give better mileage than ICE ?
2. Would the battery be big enough to provide substantial range so that engine may not be needed at all ?
Try and study cars like chevy volt
You are saying an engine charging a battery, which then runs the wheels, will be more efficient than a car whose engine runs the wheels directly?
This defies physics!
Petrol engines forever
Love this from Suzuki but it's late by 3yrs. (Scrapage- ELV, Bs6, BS6 -P2, C) but still leading compare to other lazy ass Passenger Car Manufacturer. Hope it bring it to its commercial vehicles (CNG E20 Battery Hybrids)
I don't like maruti cars ... they stand no where close to Toyota or Honda... Maruti cars are extremely ordinary cars
