I'm planning a culinary trip from Sweden to the U.S and the main draw is the BBQ. I've eaten BBQ all around Europe and Asia but there is simply no competition when it comes to American BBQ. Been saving up for the past years through covid so I have no regrets in what and where I want to eat. Thank you for your channel and all others in the community showing great places for me to visit!

As a KC native, I've been around bbq all my life. I'm not so full of myself to consider myself an expert on BBQ, but I know enough to recognize good barbecue. And Barks looks impressive. I love seeing someone fuse other cultures' food with an established classic to make something new and exciting. Totally want to try the platanos/fried cheese one. #ANTSBBQ

Please don't confuse Dominican oregano with italian oregano. It's one of the Caribbean oregano. It's a different herb/plant with a complete different taste lol. Like he said you can add it to any meat or fish. 😂we add it to our rices too. And some vinaigrette-like sauce for fried foods ,it's called wazakaka or viagra 😂😂 it's made with sour oranges ,garlic ,adobo, oregano, hot peppers , sweet Caribbean peppers, onions ,black pepper.

And its awesome to see he was able to do it as he said, he never worked in food service, but he's always been able to provide top notch food and service since the pop-ups he ran at the local breweries here in Queens. Love to see Bark BBQ progress so much since then. Hope to see it at TimeOut Market this Friday since I'll be in the area.

Good morning all congratulations first of all for your barbecue business. I’m a new to the social media family through U-Tube and just watched your story and I’ve never been to NY but when I visit I’ll make sure to find you and chow down. I’m born and raised in DC but live in NC and by this state supposed to be the capital of barbecue where I live the joints I’ve been to sucks in my opinion. So again Kudos to you and I’ll keep following you and by the way the Brisket I can taste through the screen. Gary G

Q- How old is the owner ? How many years has this barbecue restaurant been in buss ? It might serve great barbeque and I wish them continued success, but overstatements on the internet ( very common with everybody and their momma penning " best, greatest whatever ) that are false ( Legendary takes many years if not decades from a gazillion folks ) make such claims false and immediately suspect. Calling someone the " King " of any food in NYC must be earned!

I finally had a chance to check out Bark. Thank you for the recommendation. It's nice to say that's there's finally delicious BBQ in New York City. I was lucky they had Beef Ribs today. You can't find them anywhere here.

As somebody who’s just starting out smoking meat on an offset, I can tell you this man works very hard, and it has to be a labor of love or else any human would throw the towel in. 🙏🏻 hats off to him

My favorite part is seeing the enthusiasm his guys had, especially the one that needs the music playing to work. That guy I could hang with. Glad to see a young crew getting it done. Best of luck to them. I’d love to spend a week working those pits. #antsbbq

Love the video! You boys need to lift those prep tables a Ft or 2! It’s hard on the back and I’m just an amateur bbq neighborhood pit master, so I can’t imagine doing that much like that at a time!
