I want to add a positive comment here. I specifically watch because I enjoy your conversations. Your interactions take me back to high school when I would play DnD with my friends and shoot the breeze. Sometimes we'd end up not getting around to the game but it was a wonderful time regardless. I can't understand why it would bother people. Playing board games is a social activity and part of socializing is talking.
Thank you, Darren. Hanging out and talking with friends is occasionally one of those magical activities when time flies and we feel like we are young again.
Thanks to both of you for this stream! Contrary to Greg's concerns, it's fascinating to watch the two of you tackle a puzzle like this, regardless of whether you're talking! There's a wonderful amount of tension from how we can see what dice you each have available; we have the luxury of omniscience while you both have to infer what's going on with incomplete information. I found it quite compelling and I hope you'll stream more stuff like this, where those of us in the audience benefit from your limited knowledge. :)
And in terms of talking during the dice placement phase, communicating to viewers isn't necessarily the same thing as coordinating your actions. I though you both did a good job taking into account the limits on communication while still including us in your thought process. Keep up the fine work and more like this, please!
Thanks for your very kind words, Tom. I come from a long line of slow thinkers, and it really shows in a game like this.. That may make it painful to watch for some. But I had a bit of an epiphany a little while back regarding these playthroughs. I do watch an occasional playthrough for enjoyment/entertainment, but the epiphany I had was that a playful can be a useful way to see how the game FEELS to play, and what playing it is actually like, in a way that no review can communicate. And that being able to jump around a playthrough, even if you only spend 5 minutes jumping around an hour long playthrough, could be the best way to learn whether a game might be for you. So in that spirit, I'm not going to worry about whether a playthrough is entertaining to watch, only that it is a reasonable reflection of our experience playing the game. -jesse
HAHA, this is so real. The "ok, we would be fighting but we have to behave for camera" tension is so relatable.
It's a winning combination throughout the centuries of radio, tv, and cinema.

Keep in mind as you watch this playthrough that the game rules say you can't talk after you roll your dice, but we are not quite so strict in the way we play.
You're so worried about filling silences that you make the game 4 times longer! :D Interesting game though.
First time viewer, really enjoyed the co-op video, and will return for more. I love Gregg's method of swapping the 5 to place a 5 at 26 Minutes. Can I steal him for some games?

@COOPFORTWO hah, still enjoyable to watch. Picked up the physical game two days ago and watched rules and playthroighs tonight. Just finished a playthrough on BGA and squeaked out a win. Hoping to teach my wife in the morning.
