Beautiful architecture. Its a pity there was so many pictures of the surrounding area and the same scene of the Golden Gate Bridge and lombard street. Would have loved to see more of the interiors of that masterpiece, especially the kitchen and appliances!!!!!!!!

Houses with elevators is just a big no. I hate elevators or the idea of them in houses. I don’t like that there is a steel box in your house that can potentially lock you inside and it goes up and down via cables. Plus it’s not aesthetic nor pleasing in any way elevators is as much a bad thing for houses as it is to have more bathrooms than bedrooms.

That's what age related issues has to do with elevators in houses. Stairs aren't wheelchair accessible either. If you use one, and have the money, maybe you install an elevator in your home. Whatever the reason, there would never be cables, or poles in the yard. Just never, for no reason. A home could have an elevator in it, and you'd never know unless you opened the door. A lot of home elevator doors look like any other door in the house. There would be no aesthetic difference between a home with an elevator, and a home without one. It's cool to not want an elevator because you're afraid of getting trapped like you said in your first comment, but the rest is based on misinformation you don't have to worry about.

I disagree with the title. The Spreckels Mansion in Pacific Heights that Danielle Steel owns is a lot bigger and a lot more impressive. It's the finest mansion ever built in San Francisco.
