I was going to a Catholic church and going to Saturday night mass and l felt l was not not getting enough in soul so l spoke to a friend who l worked with and l asked him what's the difference between a Christian and a Catholic? I had also failed to pursue the holiness without which no man will see God. When I could not stop drinking or control my lust I found myself being tempted to be angry with God after several months of completely fruitless effort. Although I was angry and exhausted and had given up on my effort I didn't give up on God or accept my sin. I instead decided that every word of God was true and that my conversion had been false due to the 18 month struggle. I began to beg God. I asked God every day for repentance from dead works for around 2 years before I received the blessings and help I needed. Now I see God has blessed me and grown me by letting me blow in the wind for so long. I have learned trust, patience, and perseverance. During all that time I was never cast off. Because of the way I clung to God when I couldn't find Him I know that my faith is real.
We surely prefer the trial to come from without but even if we bring the trial upon ourselves God will use it for blessing if we belong to the Lord Christ. It really hurt. God's word is true. He chastens those he loves and scourges every son whom he receives. I will pray.

Yes! Watch Passion of the Christ to be reminded of what Jesus suffered! I rewatched it recently after many years and it was so difficult for me to watch. To see Jesus whom I love dearly, suffer so badly for my sins, it was unbearable. But I forced myself to watch every second of his agony anyway, because I will not turn my cheek to his agony. We are unstoppable with the power of Christ. I will not lose hope even as I struggle as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs children. They require so much from me yet I know I AM BLESSED to be their mother. So as I struggle with rent and as I struggle provide for my children I feel so alone and discouraged. Yet I PRAISE GOD. I know a blessing is on the way.
Why did God create hell. Watched video at 2:45 p.m. EDT. I believe in God and believe Jesus gave his life for our sins. But I am afraid that this is not enough and if I pray and read the Bible daily and try to live life the way he wants me too. How will I be sure that he will accept me into heaven when my time comes????

He had to create hell for the devil and his angels and i can't understand humans have to be scared by hell in order to stay faithful some of us just can't let go of sin its sad, God has to create a hell to help us stay in line that's how much he loves us some of us including myself have to remember there's a hell to keep on the straight and narrow. This is a question my friend is always asking, he grew up in a Christian family but he doesn’t believe anymore and says which God to believe if every religion claims to be the true God. I told him hell wasn’t meant for people, and that God is a righteous judgement and just so there had to be repercussion for doing evil.

Why do i feel like satan is trying so hard to get ahold of me since I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior it’s like daily and some kind of attacked either in dreams or just yesterday a man that I thought was my friend started talking to me, saying Black Magic is real and that Jesus is the one that is really Satan and I just I didn’t even argue I just walked away. You can't really compare the court system to God's ways. It's about the judge being "righteous" maybe but what about "good time" "served"?? It doesn't really fit.
"If God is willing to prevent evil, but not able, then He is Not Omnipotent,
If He is able but not willing, then He is Malevolent,
If He is both able and willing, then whence cometh evil?
Is He neither able or willing, then why call Him God?"

Evil is temporary and has the good result of growing people in mercy, compassion, courage, patience, forgiveness, etc.

O obedience is mandatory before God. Discipline is a show of love as it is incentive, hope to strive towards perfection. To be more like Christ and to be in obedience. Hell is the ultimate punishment for all who refuse to repent, to accept and follow Christ and who refused to get baptized.
