Why did God create the Tree of Knowledge in the first place if He knew that Adam and Eve would sin by eating from the fruit? Why does God allow bad things to happen to us if He is all-knowing? Can He not prevent us from sinning?
In this video, Daniel answers one of your questions. Why did God create the Tree of Good and Evil? But, this important message goes much deeper in explaining why God allows bad things to happen to us. Daniel also tells you a bit more about God's character and His love for us.

We don't know why he put it there, for, God will do as he wills.
We do know that he did and told them if they eat of it, they will surely die. The choice was theirs, and it's ours today. He loves you enough to let you choose him. What choice will you make?

A fruitless Christian is a contradiction, an indication that something abnormal is going on. Rather than command us to bear fruit, Jesus tells us that we must abide in Him.

The word "SIN" means without.
We are without God.
We hide from God.
I ask God not for forgiveness,
But to salvage that part of me

I mean sin is a something that we should be shamed of , and even us Christians sin. Sin doesn't mean we are not with God. For if sin means we are not with God, then all of us are not with God. We are sinners but we Christians are saved by grace. Sin is the wrong things we have done. Therefore we are in flesh, we are sinners for we are in flesh. But we are saved by grace and even if we are saved by grace, once again I have told you we are from flesh we are sinners we have sinned but God saved us by grace. But that doesn't mean we do not sin if we are Christians. Sin is the wrong things we have done. We always must ask for forgiveness from God. We cannot stop sinning for we are flesh(I've said once again). But we are still a child of God

If you think about it, God did the very least he could do to give them free will. As the first two humans with no one else around, they didn't have all the temptations and negative influences there are today. So, they were given literally only one commandment to obey.

The biggest problem with christians is this confusion about the "law of sin."

Who created the evil part of the tree?
So if Adam and Eve had never disobeyed God and are the fruit allowing evil to enter the world would evil never had been able to exist in the world? Wonder what kind of life we would have and what we could have accomplished as humans had they not messed up?
Evil already existed because Satan and the demons existed. However, if Adam had not obeyed Satan, humanity as a whole probably would not have been consigned to being opened to Satan's influence.
It is of great joy of the Creator when His creation with their freewill choose to obey and worship Him; out of love not obligation. That's the purpose of that tree in the garden: A test of obedience. And the freewill - a gift, and also a curse if misused and abused.

This issue of free will is sketchy at best because we know that God wrote our names into the Book of Life before the world began. That means that he foreknew who would be saved and who wouldn’t be saved before he even created the universe, the garden of Eden, or Adam and Eve. We also know that no fallen man comes to Christ on his own and it requires the work of the Holy Spirit to lead unbelievers to Christ and salvation. Fallen humans are as dead to sin as Lazarus, and just like Lazarus couldn’t call out to Jesus from the grave to save himself, neither can fallen man. That’s why the work of salvation from beginning to end is a miracle of God and His grace. The only explanation is that everything He creates including the angels and man both saved and unsaved are to be used to showcase His glory.

Ezekiel 28.13.I believe that because Lucifer(Light bearer.The one who brings Light/Knowledge) were created in Eden,he is referred to as The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.He was right there in the middle of The Garden.Obviously God had to warn Adam and Eve about his presence and the consequences of eating(believing) from the fruit(lies) of that tree.The Friut they ate,can be akin to The Lie Lucifer told them.Now we have to find out Who or what The Tree of Life(also standing in the middle of The Garden) was.Also Who or what the other Trees represented in The Garden.Hope this will help.Thanks Pastor.God bless.🤟

@@JoanAwuorCheluget thanks, I discussed this topic with a friend and we came to the same conclusion. Later in Genesis, some of that comes up. During Job, we do see Lucifer still part of the gods council. Almost makes it seemed that Job's story is before his expulsion from Heaven. Thoughts?

Hello Daniel. I wanted to know something. I know what God does is always Good and Justifiable and He does nothing wrong. But i always had a question in my heart about the Tree of Knowledge. God forbidden Adam and Eve to eat the Fruit of Knowledge. And He also gave them the freedom to chose. But i guess God knew that one day Adam and Eve would surely disobey by eating that Fruit. Then according to you, what was the real purpose of this Tree in the Eden garden ? If this Tree was a forbidden one, why did God placed it there. He could placed,for example, in Heaven or another place, away from the reach of Adam and Eve.

You can not force someone to love you. Because the root of love is a decision. You can force someone to say I love you or even bow down in front of you, but love doesn't come from the mouth or the actions we do, but from the free will of your heart.
It's a lot like sin (shocking isn't it). See, you can do all the good deed's you want, but if it's not from the heart. Then the deed wasn't done with love.
Scripture teaches us that sin is in the heart, not the acts we do. The acts we do is the fruit of what's in our hearts.
By the way, When one say's heart, they are not referring to that biological pump in your chest.
They are referring to the human soul.
When Adam and Eve turned against God they cursed the human soul.
Now that we have that desire to sin (turn from God), we have a choice to turn towards God or turn away from God. This creates love (turning to God.).
So God created the ability for us to love him.
Even tho we choose to love Him everything we do is laced with sin. Sin is the separation from God ( Hell ). How do we re=ligament ( re-attach our relationship with God ).
If we try to do anything, don't matter how hard we try it will be laced with sin.
All our efforts (sacrifices) will be done in vain.
What must be done must be done in a sinless manner !
Since we can't do it, who do you know that can do it ?
Lets use a hyper theoretical situation. Lets say YOU had no sinful soul, but you where a pure human being (no deity ).
If you was arrested by the authorities beaten until the skin ripped off your body, pieces of your hair pulled out of your body, nailed up on a piece of wood and left there to die and you were innocent of any crime !
Now, would you in your heart hate the people who done that to you. Any human would. That would be SIN !
But if that person was God, then the deed (sacrifice) would be pure and sinless.

The tree of knowledge good and evil was actually the tree of obedience.
The tree of adversity - Adam was cursed to work by sweat of his brow and labor.
Tree of Holy Wisdom it also called in book of Enoch.

He created angels with free will and one third rebelled. He created humankind with free will and a plan for redemption. A reason why the fallen angels, including Lucifer, hates usbdo much. To have free will, there has to be a choice. Without the tree of good snd evil there, we wouldn't have a choice to reject or accept God. Hence it was crucial to be there. Now, I am curious if when the serpent tempted Eve, if Lucifer was already thrown out of Heaven.
The angels were created with free will as well. That is not why Satan hates mankind. Satan hates mankind because we were created with the potential to be God Beings, and that is something he can never be. Whether anyone believes it or not, that gospel the Christ preached(Mar. 1:14-15). It is right there in Gen. 1:26, Rom. 8, Heb. 2, 1 Jhn 3, Eph 2, and many other passages. God created man with the intention of reproducing Himself through us!

another interesting thought about the garden is that God told them that if they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that that day they would surely die ,well a day to God is a thousand years and guess what Adam only lived around 930 years so actually he died on that day God does not lie ,and he is an awesome God but i digress just thought i would share .... awesome job Daniel and keep on keeping on ,i enjoyed this and all i've seen of your video's stay truthful in God teaching's.

For free will, we are not perfect (have fleshly nature). Since we sinned and didn't obey God's law and word. God sent Jesus for our last chance to salvation. GOD is a loving, merciful, patient, and kind. GOD is LOVE ❤️

How could they have learned disobedience after they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil when God commanded them not to eat it? Isn't the whole idea of disobedience doing something that was not to be done? And didn't Adam and the woman know the truth before eating the fruit? The woman quoted to the serpent, what God told Adam about the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So that tells us that the woman knew what God said and Adam knew what God said. So again, "How did they learn disobedience before eating the fruit? To learn something means that someone either tells you or you read about it somewhere. looks like they acted on their own judgment seeing that a deception leaves you two options, either you are going to believe one side or the other. They chose to believe the serpent and that is not learning anything. They made a choice to disobey God's command about the tree. Just like the world does today, especially within the church.
