I've been struggling with homosexuality as a Christian, but as I am listening to this, tears came down my face, it is time for me to take my relationship with God serious, as I am still breathing. Thank Jesus that you have seen the light. I gave up sex couple of years ago. After a while it's not that difficult.I gave up soda pop 7 years ago for health reasons. First year it was very hard. Now I don't even think about it. The point being as time goes by it gets easier. Stay strong.

You cannot base your entire salvation off of one Bible verse. All bible verses support each other to help believers learn more about the character of God. You will not be saved just be proclaiming your faith in Jesus. The Bible would be much shorter if that were the case. We NEED TO READ THE ENTIRE BIBLE to learn everything God wants us to know. If not, we are much more vulnerable to satan’s lies and traps… If our lives come to an end without Christ, there will be NO HOPE FOR ETERNITY. Take this very seriously! It’s not a joke. The souls of every Christian matters you God, but you make your decisions. You’re the one who may choose the world over God, not Him. Actions speak louder than words. Actions also have consequences. However, I am not implying we are saved by works. So we need to trust God, pray, fast, and repent daily and the grace of God will touch the heart of the person who desperately searches for God and reads His word. This is what will draw to closer to Him, not social media and the many other distractions we encounter in our daily lives.

April 22, 2020. I was reading Luke 14 around 11:30 PM. I realized I had never counted the cost of following Christ. Then I remembered 1 John and realized I left the church physically because I was never part of it spiritually. I thought I had Christ my entire life, but I didn’t. I sat on my steps, knowing nothing was forcing me to decide. I could go left or right. I chose Christ. I bent the knee to our Lord and enabled by the Holy Spirit, I am being transformed to this day. I am not the same person I was two years ago or even two months ago, by God’s grace alone.
If you’re not sure, count the cost of discipleship. Ask yourself if you truly believe or if it’s just facts to you, and it doesn’t make you YEARN for righteousness. To be sick of your sin. To tell others the Good News. To be able to bear fruit because of God, FOR God. If not, have the hard conversation with yourself. You need to. I was in the book of Romans last night reading about salvation and there’s two parts to salvation believing in Christ as Lord and Savior but also following after his righteousness, there are two parts you can’t just do one of them. You can’t just believe even demons believe but you have to follow Jesus and his righteousness to be saved.

Salvation is not gained/maintained by works, careful how you word this. Believers producing good fruit is evidence they’re saved, but Ephesians 2:8-10 clearly say you’re saved by faith and not of works.

I could give hundreds of more verses that prove salvation comes by faith alone in Christ. Trusting in the perfect life he lived for us not the imperfect life we live for him. Trusting in his righteousness not our own. Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Lord heal me. Father God hear my prayers. I still feel like I’m going to go to hell I don’t cheat on my husband I don’t drink I do lie but I’m not a compulsive liar I don’t steal but I still steal those. I was talking about those who do not have a repentant heart and keep sinning without the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Yes, we ALL sin and fall short of the glory of God, but the difference between the 2 is that one receives conviction from Holy Spirit and the other does not sense the conviction even though they claim to be on the straight and narrow path. I am 61 years old and only just found Jesus 7 weeks ago. Since then I have studied hard.
I surrendered to Jesus about 5 weeks ago. Not I study 6 hours a day. I pray to God in the morning. I go in to church every day and pray. I will start cleaning the church as of tomorrow. When I take my dog out for a walk I take Jesus with me and talk to him as I walk my dog.
From the minute I wake till the minute I go to bed I am with God and Christ is with me.
I go to Church every Sunday, we have a book study on Tuesday and coffee morning on Saturdays.
I said if they want more help just to call on me.
Dear heavenly father thank you for everything you do for me and my family . please lord forgive me for all my sins ive done please help me learn not have hatred in my heart lord . I love you Lord and thank you for watching over my family and I lord . And please lord look after the inoccent lives during these wars going off . Please be with all the inoccent who are in middle of this war on both sides

They have completely changed the true biblical definition of repentance which is a change of mind to mean turn from sin. But in Jonah 3:10 it literally says turning from your evil way is works. What do you do when you choose to turn from your sin? You choose to follow the law for the law is GOOD & by the DEEDS of the Law shall no flesh be JUSTFIED. Lordship Salvationist will often take verses out of context like in james 2 or like he said rev 3:16 and apply them to salvation without reading the greater context of scripture or cross referencing with other verses.
I could give hundreds of more verses that prove salvation comes by faith alone in Christ. Trusting in the perfect life he lived for us not the imperfect life we live for him. Trusting in his righteousness not our own. If you don’t believe salvation comes by simply believing on the lord Jesus Christ (acts 16:30-31) then you have not submitted yourself to the righteousness of God & have gone about trying to establish your own righteousness(Roman’s 10:3) because it CANNOT be by both faith & works it’s either by grace through faith or it’s works(Roman’s 11:6) I pray DLM repents of his false works based gospel and believes in the only true gospel of Christ
I am a backslider.. for some reasons.. But now.. I was just like the prodigal son, I came back to the Lord, My Savior, and I repent my sins.. Thank you Lord for rescuing me!
