I had to wait 2 weeks for the event and during that 14 days Satan tormented me with dreams to try and scare me off. I persisted and never looked back. I heard nothing about the Blood of Jesus cleansing us from sin in this message. Baptism can never replace the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins.

If you read scripture literally, baptism doesn't "represent" or "symbolize" anything but it DOES things according to Rom 6 and Col 2:11,12 and other verses. The New Testament never says or implies baptism is a symbol, representation, identification, testimony, or the like but that it actually DOES something just like Naaman was cleansed from his leprosy in water.

Yes he was, but not by water.....Matthew 3:11 and Matthew 9:6. A purpose of baptism is for forgiveness of sins, Acts 2:38, which is what Christ did on the cross for the thief, as he had the authority to do so. When Christ told the thief he would be in paradise with him, the thief was forgiven of his sins.....in other words, Baptized.
I've got a question for sir. The thief on the cross who accepted Jesus. He's now in heaven. No baptism, because his belief in Him counts as salvation. Born again, means that you are in the Book of Life. Baptism has nothing to do with the actual acceptance of Christ and repenting of sin & putting your faith in Jesus. The baptism is simply the outward declaration of what God has done to save you already. Yes it's a command for Christ, but baptism isn't the same as being born again. I’m a new believer, I live with my girlfriend an our son, my girlfriend an I are now not fornicating an planning to get married this summer, I want to get baptised next month. Is that ok or do I need to get married first?

Do you be baptized by someone who already was? John the Baptist was baptized after he baptized Jesus. I heard something of for that to happen John was on this earth before Jesus time and was baptized then.

A purpose of baptism is for forgiveness of sins, Acts 2:38, which is what Christ did on the cross for the thief, as he had the authority to do so. When Christ told the thief he would be in paradise with him, the thief was forgiven of his sins.....in other words, Baptized.
I was forced into baptism at seven years old. People like making a spectacle. Its not remotely a big deal.

I've got a question for sir. The thief on the cross who accepted Jesus. He's now in heaven. No baptism, because his belief in Him counts as salvation. Born again, means that you are in the Book of Life. Baptism has nothing to do with the actual acceptance of Christ and repenting of sin & putting your faith in Jesus. The baptism is simply the outward declaration of what God has done to save you already. Yes it's a command for Christ, but baptism isn't the same as being born again. Just your declaration of it outwardly.
