BMW 2007 328i No Start issue Part 1, preliminary diagnose and battery cables replacement

Are you using an icom and power stabilizer for ista programming or just a dkhan cable

I used both depending on what I am doing but for programing I use icom iam switching in to TOPDON

That wire was disconnected off mine does it need to be plugged in

the one for the factory diagnostics does not need to be plug

Good job , question I'm getting code cf17, no data between the two modules transmission and another module , shifting is kind of weird, there's not a lot of information or direct information on this code any help?

yeah that code seems to appear when there is main power supply drain issue, I was able to get rid off it using ista D using its own service function trough out the test plan , I had it in the video but I needed it to pay attention and I stop the video but i do have it in another video for a different vehicle I believe < any way regardless you need Ista D to sort out this code

@@bmwn5238 okay thanks I appreciate it I did find a little corrosion on the battery terminal connector inside the wheel well looks corroded, I'll try and see if I can clean that up or replace the end piece, you have a download link to insta, , and you have a email address

@@stevet8607 i don't have a downloadable link that i know can work all of them require a lot of computer base knowledge since the files are all scarted and scramble so is best if you go to the face book page bmw coding and ask for some one to sale you the file and installed it for you remotely

What exactly is the wire you installed the first time?

the first one is the positive wire terminal
