On #5: I understand keeping a kinky fetish to yourself on a first date, but... isn't there something to be said for not wasting each other's time if your kink is REALLY out there? I have a friend whose date told her about his clown fetish on their first date - like, he had to be in full clown costume and makeup for sexy time - and it saved them both a lot of time since she was never going to be open to trying that.

On the second point, when I need to be somewhere at a certain time, I usually head to a location within a reasonably close proximity well in advance and find something to do until it’s time for the scheduled activity.
By doing this, I’m able to arrive on-time without having to sit idly waiting until then, and won’t be tempted to spend the whole time resorting to mindless tapping on my phone or space out from sheer boredom.
I imagine I’d follow a similar routine when it comes to first dates, so I’m optimistic about my first first date (when it happens). 💕

I think you should be the one to pay for the date if you're the one asking. You can even split the bill if you're both genuinely fine with it. I see all these women online who expect the man to pay all the time, because "he's the man", but most of the time, it's because they expect to be treated like a princess. They also make a big deal out of splitting it. What's the issue? You're both going on a date and spending your time with each other. If it's a $20 meal, split $10 each. It's not like it's expensive.
Most women want chivalry, but they also demand to be treated as strong and independent. They don't want to "get special treatment" but atst expect special treatment BECAUSE they are "the woman" or you are "the man."
I've come across woman who became verbally abusive because I held the door open for them, and it's probably the very same women who demand to go first in a "women and children first" type emergency.
I completely agree with you that the person who asks, should be the person who pays, but I've been left looking really stupid when the bill came and she had no intention of pulling out her purse.
@@castleanthrax1833 As a woman myself, I don't understand those types of women. They're very contradicting. Guys like you should be treated right and with respect since you're being a gentlemen. I think it'd be best to discuss how you're going to handle the bill with the woman you're going on a date with, before going on the date to avoid feeling stupid. Just like how a persons character shows with how they treat the waiter/waitress, a persons character shows with how they handle the bill situation
I’m so glad that you kept it a buck with last one. Because the amount of double standards in the dating scene these days is utterly ridiculous. Specially the women that only push for equality & traditional values for whenever it benefits them while not holding up their end of the bargain.

9 times out of 10, women expect men to ask, so what's the point? Also I've been on dates where she suggests going out and picks the restaurant, but expects me to pay.. so its a lose lose situation if you're a guy in most cases, if you think that you can split on the first date without looking bad on you. I really like you're videos a lot, but I kind of have the feeling that the audio quality get's worse every time I am watching them. I always have to turn up the volume and there is some 'white noise', which distracts me a bit, but that was never a major problem, until now, but I couldn't understand this video without subtitels. The intonation of the words and especially of the sentence got totally lost and the ever repeating melody made it hard to concentrate on the subject.
Same here -- her accent made it VERY hard to understand what she's saying!
The service one is the most true. How they treat other people is so important because it’s how they’ll eventually treat you. The only one that I don’t necessarily agree with is being late. I’ve been on dates where people have been 10-20 minutes late. Not a big deal for me personally. I understand that things happen, traffic happens, and busses and trains get delayed. There are valid reasons for being late that won’t affect my first impression of you.
The last one is a bit off. I suppose trying to force someone to pay for you that has expressed they don't want to isn't proper behavior. However, a man that isn't willing to pay for dates will likely not receive many second dates. It sends a message of not being really interested.

I do not understand #5. I want to know what kind of weirdo I’m dealing with before attachments are formed. Since “everyone is weird, but at least you pic the flavor” I like to know the flavors will blend instead of being one of the bodies that’s called so creative.
With my current sweetheart, I narrowly avoided committing mistake #2 on my first date with her: our date was at a modern art museum where I've never been before, and the optimum route to that museum was over several side streets where the street signs were not always readily visible -- so even though I left a little early just in case, I missed my second-to-last right turn the first time and had to go around for a second circle (thereby almost exactly eating up my safety margin)! And then on the second pass, coming in at pretty much exactly the scheduled time for our date, I almost missed the exact same turn again, but then saw the street sign at literally the last second before I was about to pass through the intersection -- SCREEEEEECH! Slammed on the brakes and turned the wheel hard right -- my rear wheels literally went sideways (on perfectly dry pavement), but I made the corner, and made the date on time! And as for #6: after the museum, we went to a seafood restaurant nearby, and when we were done eating, I offered to pay the whole thing, but she insisted on splitting the tab -- that actually made me worried, because my first thought was that she was distancing herself from me -- but then I thought, maybe it's just because it was our first date and she didn't want to feel like she's in debt to me so early on, and maybe other women do the same these days on first dates for the same reason? So, I want to ask you: is it normal practice these days to split the tab on a first date, regardless of how you feel about each other?

I tend to naturally avoid doing the other stuff mentioned and providing whatever I can to a given situation and that’s why I have friends. I couldn’t say why people actually like me but I guess it’s fine cuz I try to be likable, just don’t want to date romantically…
