I've had it installed on my Q60 for months now, no issues at all and do not regret purchasing, so your opinion is definitely valid, but on paper the jb4 seems superior in every way and normally I hear blown turbos from a jb4 because the person was running the wrong map, pushing the turbos to the max psi etc... but I myself can't give a definite answer on which is better considering I only own the Z1 Hotbox but again I actually enjoy it and again I think it comes down to personal preference. appreciate you giving your opinion!

hopefully you enjoy it, and I only put 93 in my tank. and to your point about the app, I've actually used it multiple times it could use some work... I've also reached out to z1 and sent them some data logs to make sure the chip was functioning properly, and they actually responded within 24hrs so that's definitely a plus. but like I mention to z1 it doesn't seem like the different drive modes (MAPS) that are on the hotbox app actually work meaning there's no difference. they told me to send data logs with each map so they could check it out unfortunately at this time the Q kind of shit the bed and I was unable to. but I'll be posting a video about everything that's gone on since. I appreciate the support!!

I would definitely need the different settings to work because where I live we only have 91 octane so for the performance mode I was planning on running at the racetrack with some VP race fuels MS 100 mixed in with the 91. I guess worst case scenario I could disconnect it when not using it since it’s so easy to install and remove.
I bought the Z1 Hotbox and I'm very satisfied. I knew it would boost the performance but that wasn't the main reason. I notice a loss in power around the 2200 RPM or when it shifted to 3rd gear. This helped smooth the power around that range. Maybe it was just my car but I would like to know if anyone else experienced this as well. I have a 2017 Q60 non Red Sport.
I'm glad to hear you're satisfied with it, so was I! As far as losing power, I'm not too sure. Have you checked the forums? The only time my car feels sluggish or down on power is when I'm pushing it in hotter weather back to back pulls

What the power difference from stock while driving
just an increase in boost, z1 claims 23whp and 38tq. as far as throttle response, drivability etc. nothing changes from stock.
