If you’re trying this method I will say be patient because when it does work your tablet will start acting slow.

Wow! Thank you so much. I didn't know what the problem was for the past 72 hours. I kept charging it with different Chargers and nothing would happen. But after just the first three minutes of this video I tried your method and it worked. I didn't even know that the black screen of death was a thing. Thanks so much! Finally after almost 24 hours, and with the help of your video, my tablet is unfrozen. The tablet was 100% charged when it got frozen. It was actually in the process of loading a Netflix Video. I’m surprised the battery charge lasted so long. Currently the level is at 16%, and I’m now charging it back up. I only had to jiggle the power button up and down for about 20 seconds, before the screen unfroze. I then held onto the power button for another 20 seconds, and my tablet started up with no problem. I didn’t even have to jiggle the volume buttons up and down. This worked on my first try. You’re Awesome, for sharing this information. I was going to call a tech, but happened across your video, and decided to give your method a try. I’m so glad I did. I’m going to share this video with my FB Friends! I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!
