On one side I find your videos fascinating, as we get a glimpse of usually interesting and sometimes historical things, but on the other hand they often depicts a life interrupted. Someone got sick or died, and now all that is left is an decaying echo of their presence on earth... oh well, life goes on for everybody else i guess.
That was a good explore. Can’t believe the amount of stuff left in that house you would think family or friends would sort it out. It’s a shame to think everything will probably end up in the skip. It might be a lot of important stuff in there. There should be some sort of organisation who takes over these houses when that abandoned like this and sort it out. I see a lot of houses like this by other explorers. It’s such a shame when you think everything will end up in the skip. 👍
Another super-interesting one. You know there's a lot to see when a wall lipstick isn't the weirdest find. Well done, as always! Happy Sunday, friends!
You guys make some awesome videos and you get to explore some really cool places. I like the comedy you guys add to your videos, it gets a good laugh going once in awhile haha.
At 3.08, its elephant dung paper ,this is made in Sri Lanka ,behind a huge old colonial 4 metre brick , white rendererd wall, and very large circa 1890s -1910 Mansion, Columbo's only womens refuge .The elephants all have pro bono ,prosthesis ,because they walked on a land mine ,as a result of civil war.(anymore than one leg ,sadly considered too difficult to rehabilitate)It keeps &houses & employs under Fair Trade principles 30 women &children, boys must leave on turning 16.High quality art paper much favoured for calligraphy, kills printers due to thickness, rough texture ,rougher, thicker than blotting paper.Started on micro funding ,with pro bono Prosthetists, a great success story , small shop caters to tourist market and goes out to see former inhabitants to purchase found Elephant dung , recycling the recycled.
Awww I'm sitting here 1pm in New Zealand wanting to fly over and make home there. It has a peaceful feeling through the phone 😂❤. That doll was very pretty. Not a creepy one at all. Most women take their childhood dolls with them ❤. Lovely place ❤
That should be known as the library house 😊 There were so many books in almost every room. Maybe he was a science teacher or even a private science tutor and I don't blame Ed for not wanting to touch anything in the room with all the chemicals in. Seems like he was a bit of a hoarder as well judging by the stuff in the loft. Thanks once again for your willingness to share your experiences with everyone. Keep exploring and sharing your adventures guys.
Wow! Great explore! Love the cars that are passing you in the beginning! Love all of your explores! I keep purging my home because of these videos! Ed is a gem and appreciate his vast knowlege! As we know, comes with living life! 10:16 Love Alex and his fantastic video recordings and coverage of all that you experience. No other channels are as visually detailed You are persevering history! Much to be researched and leraned.Thank you all for your continuing endeavors. ❤
Your explores are Epic guys. I love the banter that goes on between you. It certainly lifts your spirits 😅This house was another interesting find. I wonder what happened to them? Interesting, there weren't any photographs either. 🤔 Have a good week. Take care
Thank You so much for sharing this explore with us . There was a lot to see , very interesting what with the chemicals and instruments , in very good shape , still ready for use . Thanks to Edd , Ned , Steve and Ray and to you Alex for your great effort to entertain us all , Stay well and inquisitive , Stuart in Canada ..

Oh my gosh I haven't seen a pull chain toilet for a long time now 🤣 many a scary time spent in the backyard loo as a kid, daddy long legs, silver fish, me poor dad would stand outside on guard duty for the swift removal of them 🤣❤
So, the pewter jug and also the white jug are both depicting the Hoffbrau beer logo. It's a Munich beer. I also noticed a picture of Paderborn. So either the owner was ex British military as Paderborn was a former base for several Army units. Or maybe the person was a German expat scientist? Great content as always lads. Nice one 😊🙏
Greetings all. ... Howdy Alex, Ned, Pompeye and a good to meet you to Steve and Raymond. Best wishes from Oregon, US. ... nice explore lads ~Jekyll the Hyde 🎩
Hi guys, the HB means ,, Hofbräuhaus'', it was founded in 1589 in munich by bravarian duke Wilhelm the 5th. It was established solely to supply beer to the bravarian court. And it is still very popular,(oktoberfest).
#Alex, there is an oil lamp in the book room on the chest where you said that about the rats. That lamp was unbelievable. Looked like it was turbo charged or something. There's no shade on it though. Just a mega lamp. My daddy was a mix chemist for Martin Marrietta/Blue Circle Cement. Those chemicals and glasswares looked familiar.
Brilliant. Edd really doesn't know how funny he is! Those chemicals, im not touching them, the Russians ha ha ha. 😂😂😂 Well done on finding this place so interesting 😊
Finally Ned did it, backlighting for film exposure. Don't forget, if you guys ever get a chance do this again but closer to a white wall see if you can see what the film is
@timestamp 12:42 in the cabinet on the bottom shelf are three books, vol.1-2-3 by Harvey Cushing who became a leading neurosurgeon of his time in America. He was also an author and artist. Cool house with many interesting things to see ❤💀
Love the scales, the glass medicine jars go for quite a lot of money each, they’re highly collectible. Could it be the inheritance tax that’s caused all these abandoned houses? Such a shame n such a waste. Seems like Parker was a flying, chemist lol
I hope people who watch these realise how little the things you buy matter to others around you. Enjoy what you have because when you die most people will just dump what you own
Agree.. my 92yr old neighbour used to tend to his hedge by hand and took him hours.. we were told under no circumstances to touch it. When he passed away, the first thing the new owners did was rip the hedge out and put up a fence. It actually really upset me 😪
Im 71. I just dumped a ton of stuff down the tip. Noone will want it, noone to leave it too. The main thing I have is my green custom Triumph cafe racer. When you clean out someones home, you throw away your memory of them. Its exhausting to dismantle your Dads life and I had to do it alone. I then stripped all the wallpaper off the walls using a steamer often late at night. Painted the whole house and replaced the carpets. It was heartbreaking , to be alone in a gutted house that was once their home. Talk about the Realm of Kali.
There could be plenty of broadcast stuff in those reels that the likes of BBC & ITV no longer have as they used to not keep anything back in the 60s and 70s. If you do find anything then let Kaleidoscope about it. Great explore
Not abandoned. Worked with scientists all my career and can assure you it is more likely they went away to a conference and then absent-mindedly forgot where they lived...
He must have been a professor . Honestly I would take the film reels , and take them to the museum . 25:26 need to disagree alex😂the bathroom was bright n happy..7/10😂. Imagine selling each book for 20cents each😂. Love this house. No creepy bad vibes. Needs a woman's touch. The yard was. awesome too.
The incredible amount of books,..even at 50p a piece would equate to thousands of pounds, and the chemistry stuff...WHO KNOWS....it's tragically sad for the guy who loved and cherished his mindset belonging's...to have it go PUFF...to the skip, a council digger, whatever or whoever, thinks it's junk!!!!.
4:20 that is German from a beercompany called Hofbrauhaus The pewter mug had another symbol IHS it is used in a Roman Catholic church on the altar for water for rinsing the golden cups.
Judging by the few books I could see (The Gay Militant, Wet, Wild and Willing, the Kenneth William Diaries) and the religious artifacts I think somebody here was very tortured mentally. Nail polish remover in the bath, a white dress with the price tag still attached...maybe somebody enjoyed dressing up? Amazing find, guys.
We were thinking the same thing, there was another book ‘queer science’ a book ‘slave to leather’ and also an encyclopaedia of ballet. Maybe just a coincidence? 😜
Good one a lot of books about don't know how the person could of read them all though.oh before I forget hope it's not to cheeky to ask you but is ned your brother as you are very a like.
Some people hold on to junk for some reason. I do until I decide to sell it and make a couple of bucks. My wife is worse. She puts everything in a box thinking she'll go through it later and I end up throwing it away.
My house is the same construction as this but that one is in better condition than mine I rent from housing association it was built 1945 ish hot in summer and freezing in winter
U nás v Czech republik (Europe) nic takového neexistuje. Vždy se rodina o dům postará. Vyklidí a prodá. Intimní věci se nikde neválí. Žádný dům není zdevastovaný. Je to u vás smutné. Ten nezájem, neúcta a tolik škody.

He looks like Parker from Thunderbirds......pure comedy gold 😅 and the £50 bribe to Edd to eat a pickled egg.....😅😅😅

Great program keep it up guys 😊

Awesome guys loved it a great find ❤
Im 71. I just dumped a ton of stuff down the tip.
Noone will want it, noone to leave it too.

Great video love this❤
Some one need to go through that stuff the All ranks stuff might be something they would show to all ranks of the army in the war
Thanks Alex and the gang
Very good , as always , if only we new about them !

We genuinely had a look for some old Dr Who lol none to be found!
@ Good stuff. Well worth checking along with ‘Not Only But Also’ with Peter Cook & Dudley Moore. Pompey will know!
4:18 I+B
England B is a secondary football team run occasionally as support for the England national football team.
Not abandoned. Worked with scientists all my career and can assure you it is more likely they went away to a conference and then absent-mindedly forgot where they lived...

@@markalienhead1944 Was there any evidence of a woman actually living there?
Along with the book of Julian Clary - a young man’s passage, The Muscular marine, The fifth man (who’s the other 4?)
@ Other than the lipstick on the wall and the women’s dresses I’d have to say no evidence whatsoever.
Nice video again guys! See you later?👍👍
Thank you see you next week
Your such a nice guy ❤
Good show mates
Hope you guys never run out of abandoned houses to explore I love watching all of you guys.❤❤❤❤❤❤
so many books but I didn't see a telly?
