Playing radio with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

Pro tip is to program your star button to phone projection (CarPlay). Then get radio playing, press star to switch to CarPlay without stealing the audio focus. Radio will continue to play.
Also, if you persistently want to see your radio displayed on the right one-third, go to setup - device connections - phone projection - CarPlay and check “use split screen.” That’ll lock CP to two-thirds of the screen and the rest can be used for Kia widgets, including radio.
