Cascade Components linkage install for Orbea Rise

- DIY day is here for the Cascade linkage. I went with the silver linkage to match all the silver parts (brake, coil, crank, pulleys) around the bike. Install was pretty straight forward. I also increased Push Hypercoil from 525lb to 575lb spring rate.
The linkage also increased rear travel to 150mm and made the bike more progressive (from 20% to 27%)
Can't wait to try it out!!!

Hi, which pump do you have on your frame? I wanted to mount my topeak pump with the original topeak mount, but it does not fit as the frame is to wide. Thanks for your answer.
Is you bike the aluminum version I heard the aluminum version has trouble installing, but it seems like yours went in no problem
Hi there just get the linkage installed but now my chain is funny.. do you know how many link are in your chain? I think the longer travel require one or two extra link.

Did you not use loctite anywhere when re-assembling everything?
Btw...my 6 months old bearings where toast and the same tool did not do ANYTHING for me :-( Had to knock them out from the inside.
hey, I have an Orbea Rise H30 bike and I have this strange shooting from the right swing arm, what do you recommend doing?
hello,i just received my cascade orbea link and install it as the official video.But i found it difficult to install shock extender（the yoke) with cascade link when the washer put on it's place。Seems like the washer should not stand between extender and the link。With no choice，i had to install extender first，and then install link to axle。

Awesome video man 🙌 . I've been considering the Cascade Link, however my Rise is mullet setup with 160/160.
I am wondering if I still could use the Cascade link with my setup and won't throw off my current geometry since the link is set for 150mm rear shock position / mount.
I think it can be done, but not sure if you want the rear travel to be more than front though?

Nice video, why did you increase the spring. Im about to install my cascade and wondered why you did this. Havent seen or heard anyone else doing that.
Increase in travel will definitely need an increase in spring rate. You can check the TFTune spring calculator 👍🏻

If you're already running offset bushings with 216x63mm shock then I wouldn't be cause it would probably boost it too beyond 170 of rear travel.
Thats what i thought. I just hate the creaking w the stock setup. Ongoing issue.
You can watch my old vid on that, easy fix with strong locktite so the linkage doesn't move around the axel splines. Cheers
Hi, thanks for the video. I am considering the Cascade for my H30 with DVO Jade X progressive coil. Are you still happy with the Cascade? No problem with more pedal strikes or too plush from the top?

@@btentusscher yes you will need stiffer spring due to increased travel. No creaking with the spacer kit
I’m using the Cane Creek Valt progressive 550-670lbs spring (my weight 88kg) and don’t want to go higher. Problem you think?
@@btentusscher I'd plug it into the online calculator, or even just try riding it and see how you feel and see if you bottom out
