I love my 2020 Occam h30. Good geo, decent spec, left me with some spare cash to upgrade the things I actually wanted. Shreds these northern Colorado mountains nicely.
Absolutely! Plus, parts do wear out, and when they do, you'll be ready for an upgrade. It's a great way to get a solid frame with decent spec and have a good reason to upgrade down the line!
The H Occams are some of the best all-rounder aluminum MTBs out there. They pedal and handle like a downcountry bike but with a bit of extra travel, and without a weight penalty either compared to the aluminum versions of other true downcountry bikes like the Top Fuel. Totally happy with my upgraded H30
The rise is a very well built bike and I love mine. Had it for 3 years now and it does it all. Very enjoyable to ride and light enough to still feel playful on jumps and drops.
I ride a 2020 M30 and its the best bike I've ever had. I gotta say, the only drawback is the 140 fork on the rowdy stuff, but I did go for a medium over a large as I bought the bike when i was 16. Its a shame the base spec models have lost the XT / SLX gear, but im sure the OC / deore stuff is still pretty good
That was a 2018 Stumpjumper with semi-custom wheels. It's sold by now, but you can see the old listing and some better photos here: www.theproscloset.com/products/2019-specialized-s-works-stumpjumper-27-5-m
Guys help me understand whats the difference between the 2023 and 2022 Orbea Occam H30, cuz the 2023 version is more expensive but i dont see what changed even if i dig deep in the specifications.
I think a 150/140 bike would be a better quiver killer. Something that is more Mini-Enduro. Something like a Rocky Mountain Instinct. The Occam is a trail bike. I just bought an Occam H30 second hand. Very happy with the bike. The Z2 fork is amazing for the price point. My previous bike had a rock shox 35 gold, and it stood out as the worst part on the bike.
Just a note to Orbea I have the 2021 Rise and the XT brakes (especially the front) are absolutely shit! It’s unrideable on the descents And also the Shimano rear derallier is garbage, for a 7K bike it can’t even stay in one gear without jumping to the next gear , huge disappointment tbh

A couple months ago I picked up last year's Occam with almost 50% off.
Probably the best all round bike I've owned.
Same! Picked up a 2022 Occam M10 LT new for 3800 bucks. Absolutely loving it.
Which trim and from where?
Same here, looking to get the h10 for £1890
Always good to see good reviews about the choice I made for me 😌👍

the Quiver Killer is the Rallon, climbs also very well, nice handling for an Enduro and way more capable on the downs
If you have the elevation for a 160mm bike. But if you're not near the mountains, hard to call it a one bike solution.

I got a Orbea occamm m30 LT Carbon bike is amazing feels great, climbs well and can do pretty much anything.
Orbea makes nice bikes! I only went with a different bike this year because another bike provided better specs for the money.
They sure do!
Can you share the info please.. what brand or model, i’m currently looking for a bike around this range

The new occam lt looks a good quiver killer
What’s the green bike in the background with the blue and purple spokes?

I opted for the Occam LT H20. I only upgraded the Handlebars, grips and saddle. Love it.

The new Occam is different in the geometry (64° HTA and 77° STA) (LT version)
