Another awesome episode, RV !! Love that Volvo truck, amazing how it sat that long and the batteries were still up. Great to see the Vermont countryside. Such a beautiful place! Thanks for updating us. Cheers from Oklahoma.
That was some impressive ramp work! How cool the truck has fifty-eleven dead switches you can use for extra lights, and smoke screens, and bat-grappling-hook-ejectors and whatnot.
Awesome to see you again! It was good to see you using those mirrors pulling out onto the road after loading up. Driving in town can be a challenge, looks like you have been doing it for years. Hope all is well. Last year of school?? Hope so, maybe we will see you more.
Glad the Semi is still doing good, but instead of all the cost for diesel If you have a U-Haul near by a tow dolly that you hook up behind your pickup truck might have saved some money 💰
Ohhh, feel sorry for you, hope you are recovering as well as possible. A friend had to do the same 3 years ago, got a prosthetic 🦿 leg and does a normal life nowadays, you can't even notice when he walks. Be strong 💪
Probably since he is a TH-camr, but it’s really lazy on that old companies part. If they didn’t want a stranger driving around with their name/logo, they shouldn’t have caused that to occur.
Hey bro love your videos! Especially your “is it junk” videos like the ex cop car. My question is how does insurance work in Vermont on a truck like this? I’m from a strict place where youd need a government inspection or a trip permit. How does insurance work in Vermont on this car. Thanks
Does your truck have glow plugs?. Seems like you just turned the key and tried to start. ?? Most diesels you need to turn key and wait for glow plug light to go off then start.
In some ways you remind me of a former friend and co-worker. But it is more in the appearance department. The two of you could be cousins. There are some really major differences between the two of you though. My former friend went from "sugar to s**t" whereas you have proven to my satisfaction that you are going places in your life. My former friend on the other hand will be lucky if he does not end up dead before he turns forty-five or ends up serving hard time in a prison somewhere. If he had stuck to the path he was on, very, very much like the one you are on, we would still be friends, but he took a hard left-hand turn onto the drug and alcohol goat path, lost his family and home, drove all his friends away, and became an abusive SOB that nobody can stand to be around anymore. I've followed your "adventures" since you started this channel and even though we have never met, and probably never will, I must say I'm proud of you! Take care and keep the great videos coming!
@@danbartolini27you don’t know what he’s paying for insurance, it’s prob not that expensive to insure, why does it matter how expensive it is if he enjoys it?
@drewmurphy2796 no not exactly but it easy enough to look up what it cost to insure a truck like the in Vermont it's over $1000 per month. He got a sweet deal on it and then spent big money on it (tires batteries insurance , driving school) and then let it sit for 6 months
Wow! It's been a minute since I last saw the Volvo! Glad to see it running & making errands!
From lawnmowers to big semis, awesome progression.
You shift that old Lizzie like a champ!
So glad your back dude
Glad to see you got it running again to take the GMC to the auction yard
One of my favourite TH-camrs

6 days on the road and he’s a gonna make it home tonight!

Would love to see some more auction truck buys! You always seem to get some banging deals and we all loved that content !
I look forward to your uploads man! the semi with the trailer was an incredible deal
These are just great videos
Nice Friday surprise
Those ramps 😂😂
Been waiting for a new vid

Miss seeing your videos but I've been in a nursing home my left leg had to be amputated back in April below the knee then above

Maybe driving it more often or keep starting it up a while .
All the semi needed was TLC and a good old fashioned road on Upper Valley roads.
Another good job!
Always prime your truck after it sits for a while
Good truck
My Volvo had 850,000 miles on it when my chief sold it , only sold it because of emmissions regulations
Amazing
You may want to remove the old company's name

coulda been a situation with that plumber who sold his car to auction 😂 @@Joe-hz1nw
Nice video. I’m curious if the air conditioning worked.
Are you thinking about making more videos? Good job.
Glad to see new content. Hope all is well!
You should also check the air pressure in all of your tires.
Just watched the driving 3000 in an old Chevy video and was hoping to see it again. Hope she’s still around 😢
Probably need to do an in frame rebuild on it, the Volvo that is.

Just go to an agency and they’ll set you up
Someone will buy it. What could it go for?
close call passing that tractor!
Do more videos please
Welcome back from Milton VT
Always Like your videos ❤
what a lucky guy, the ramps only fell after. After he drove onto the trailer.
wow, 8 Months
Didn’t think it was that long ago.
6:20, the truck still had enough power to kick the ramps out, lol
The windshield wipers at the 10:00 minute mark. I was trippin there for a minute. 😂
More videos please

No I cut the glow plug cycle out but it has them
@@ARuralVermonterQqjmcb182no it doesn’t. May have a grid heater on the intake, but no glow plugs.
Nice another rural Vermonter Visio heck ya!
🤤
Fun!
What happened to the front bumper
Low tire on that trailer
ARV floating the gears. awesome
Thanks god you are alive bro
needs injector cups
As a volvo tech, your probably right. Even the emmision d13s are tanks. Other than cups and timing plate covers. I'm sure his is leaking.
On a d12? Probably not.
Is there any vehicle you can’t fix? 😊You’re so impressive
Great video… how is your back? Hopefully your doing ok
How is your back doing? Hope you are doing well
You don’t have to press clutch when changing gears in a truck?
Words cannot describe how much I hate the look of that dash with that curve
Looks really good, one of the best truck interiors ever.
I like the dash layout in the Volvo’s easy to use at night
I’d peel the old company name and DOT number off it. The DOT road pirates will get fussy about it if you get inspected.

Why did it sit for so long?
Why not wind it out a bit then you can skip a few gears.
Pretty expensive toy to be sitting for 6 months
still cheaper than what most people pay for a questionable pickup truck these days
@josephsamsor1698 no, no it's not insurance on it can be as much as $15k then permits ,he gad to ho to driving school yo get his CDL
