I like the theory that the Kaminoans kept the Clone Army secret for so long because they didn't want their client, the Republic and by extention the Jedi, looking over their shoulder. Now, Shaak Ti is there and they can't just kill off clones that are seen as failures.
@MultiRokusho It’s possible that one of the other mercenaries was able to keep the kaminoans from doing anything to him. Something similar happened in legends with Kal Skirata essentially adopting the Null arcs when the Kaminoans saw them as too imperfect to ever be soldiers. There's no reason to assume someone in canon didn't give 99 a similar form of kindness.
In Legends, the reason no Clone went to Shaak Ti's chambers was because none of them had the stomach to execute her. Before the Clone War, they caould bust a cap in any Jedi no problem. But Shaak Ti was like a mother they never had.
@johnnybaxter1953 Like they said, this was in Legends. Legends often portrays Order 66 as having either little or nothing to do with behavioral modification or inhibitor chips and instead being carried out simply as a result of loyalty to the Republic and sometimes animosity built up over the war at the Jedi due to them mostly not being used to being generals and usually being pretty bad commanders at first. Look at Star Wars Battlefront 2, the original one, in the Rise of the Empire game mode for examples of this. Like how the clones say they were glad they were wearing helmets when executing Aayla Secura because "none of us could bear to look her in the eye."

I always felt like the idea that Obi-Wan somehow made the wrong or non-Jedi choice by choosing to help Coruscant rather than Mandalore made no sense. Either way, a lot of innocent people were going to die. But Coruscant being lost or horribly damaged would be really bad for a lot of people who aren't on Coruscant itself. Meanwhile, Mandalore had spent the entire war shifting between demanding the Republic f*ck off and leave them alone, and desperately begging the Republic for help with their own issues. She considers at times to even transfer from Kamino to keep herself from falling to the Dark Side, but ultimately with the help of some Clones decides she would rather struggle with this balance between her feelings and position as a Jedi rather than completely destroy her ties to the Clones. Think of it as an explanation why she mostly follows protocol during the Order 66 arc, but at times deviates such as wanting to deliver the chip to the Jedi Temple and initially believing in Fives. The story would also contrast her to her predecessor, Jango Fett, through the eyes of some Clones. This video has made me see even more how an invasion of Kamino was always doomed to fail. Not only were the clones fighting for their home, they were fighting in front of their mom.
Shaak Ti is my wife till I die and she was so graceful walking, If I had a device to jump into the Star Wars world I'd save her and bring her back here
Shaak-Ti didn't do her job as carefully as she could've. The clones were manufactured. She needed to bring in experts to analyze their construction and determine how they're programmed - sure they're biological. Why are they all designed in a certain way and break that down to scans of their form - then she'd see the control chip and unravel the code. On one hand she saves units here and there; on the other hand, her failure led to the deaths of many Jedi, clones etc. Shaak-Ti was well over her head and had no idea. Even in the end, I doubt she know this.
To be fair Obi Wan decision was absolutely logic, i mean, Coruscant is the center of the Republic, the Jedi order and trilions of people, the Sith Empire did the exact same thing during the sacking of Coruscant and basically win the War, with the Republic forced to follow the treaty of Coruscant causing immense devastation on many republic and non republic worlds. If you control Coruscant you control the Galaxy, its simple and i honestly hated Ahsoka's behavior in this instance, her ignorance was baffling, Mandalore was Nothing compared to Coruscant Obi Wan was right, Ahsoka sounded like a teenager who throw a tantrum because she didn't get what she wanted.
I remember in some captain America comics his shield was an alloy of vibranium and adamantiun. Imagine if we did that in star wars with beskar, cortorsis and other lightsaber resistant metal?
@@theauraone7755 Did you just imply, that Vader *cut substantial beskar alloy* with his lightsaber? If so, *please tell me where you found that!* + no, he wouldn't be able to cut through as Kortisis in this alloy would destabilize or even turn off Vader's lightsaber, while other metals in the alloy would be *too* heat/lightsaber resistant to even melt through.
I'd like to note that the full effect of these materials is only possible in their pure form, as beskar in alloys is only resistant to lightsabers, not completely able to block it. Maybe the partial cortosis would weaken the lightsaber's strike, but it's really just better to use beskar armor in combination with a cortosis blade. Fully block the lightsaber if it hits, and an ability to short it out if you intercept with the cortosis weapon.
You might want to double check your lore there were female bounty hunters and mandalorians that trained the clones. Shaak Ti was well knowledgeable about her people and their customs as were several other Jedi like plo koon Quote “As hunters, the Togruta showed off the pelts and teeth of their game as a sign of pride and maturation. Special pride was taken in the teeth of akul that a Togruta had taken down as an individual. These teeth often were made into jewelry such as an akul-tooth headdress or a necklace, which also incorporated metals, stones, and pearls found on Shili. Other Togruta, such as Shaak Ti and Ahsoka Tano, wore the Togruta sash with their Jedi apparel. Torgruta spoke the Togruti language, which had a few elements of Basic.”
I like to think that the 2d clone wars show is still canon and her first encounter with General Grevious scared her so much that she refused to fight on the front lines again for fear that she'll run into the General again
Two cards from 2015 Topps Star Wars Chrome Perspective: Jedi vs. Sith set list her height as 1.78 meters, but her Databank entry and Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Character Encyclopedia - Join the Battle! correctly list her height as 1.87 meters.
I believe Obi-Wan prioritised Coruscant to avoid being emotionaly disturbed by what had happend on Mandalore. Maybe sending troops there would feel like a vengeance against Maul and he was scared of that.
Who do you think it was that replaced shaak ti towards the end of the clone wars, I have always thought that Rig Neema is a prudent choice given her background also who do you think was the jedi corpse we see being taken away from Kamino in the bad batch.
The togruta are very heavily based on a romanticized view of the native americans and other more "rudimentary" cultures....... But really they are VERY VERY similar to the Swedes. They try to live a lagom life style and treat nature with a high regard and degree of respect and love and do not let corporate entities over take the natural beauty of their world and they put a heavy importance on the mothers and women of their society. They might have been gunning for "space based native americans" but the ended up with "alien Swedes"
Not sure we can call them "rivals," given all we officially see is them passing the test well enough to be considered worthy of ARC trooper status before making a joke as 'domino' squad goes for their "final" test, but I propose that they followed a somewhat convergent path to domino squad up to the point of eventually having only two members left. Relatedly, I find it fitting that though Echo's name was due to a habit of repeating orders, his status as the last domino alive makes him an echo of his squad, as well.
Hey Alan big fan here. Since you love Star Wars have ever considered making your own Star Wars movie ? Also according to google translate the force smells like cabbages for some reason.
People forget that the Jedi aren't supposed to serve the senate or even the people directly. Their one and only allegiance is supposed to be to the will of the force. They had completely and utterly forgotten their true purpose during this time period. I like to think the reason Yoda teaches Luke the way he does in Empire Strikes Back is because he's realised this and is trying to remedy it. Though you can still see some of his dogma leaking through into his teachings. Like the fact he doesn't want Luke to even try and help Vader return to the light. But luckily Luke saw Yoda's flaws and disobeyed. Ironically I think Luke at the end of ROTJ might be the only example, give or take Qui Gon, of an actual JEDI we've seen.

So you're saying she's mommy?
she is 100% mommy
8:02 The Mother send’s Her Children off to War
Incredible Humanistics
Good work
You remember when cut up was telling his story of how he was hitting on a girl in clone cadets and fives pointed out he’s never even seen a girl?… I believe that story was 100% true and the girl was shaak ti who was humoing him
🤣
That is actually a funny idea.
Thanks for taking such care while talking about my favorite character 💓 GREAT video!
This video has made me see even more how an invasion of Kamino was always doomed to fail.
Not only were the clones fighting for their home, they were fighting in front of their mom.
Great video as always 😊😊😊😊😊
I see you’re producing videos in a variety of locations. Nice
She may be seen as the mother of the Clones, but to me she will always be a mommy
I enjoy 😉 all of Generation Tech videos
She was 17, that's basically what she did.
She was 17
And she was raised by Anakin who threw tantrums too
The empire went from robots to clones back to cheap labor
At the end its enough to hand a gun to the guy on the street.
I love shaak ti
I remember in some captain America comics his shield was an alloy of vibranium and adamantiun. Imagine if we did that in star wars with beskar, cortorsis and other lightsaber resistant metal?
It would be hard for a lightsaber to cut through. But not for some. (Cough, Cough, Darth Vader. Cough, Cough.)
@@theauraone7755 Did you just imply, that Vader *cut substantial beskar alloy* with his lightsaber? If so, *please tell me where you found that!*
+ no, he wouldn't be able to cut through as Kortisis in this alloy would destabilize or even turn off Vader's lightsaber, while other metals in the alloy would be *too* heat/lightsaber resistant to even melt through.
Shaak Ti was well knowledgeable about her people and their customs as were several other Jedi like plo koon
Quote
“As hunters, the Togruta showed off the pelts and teeth of their game as a sign of pride and maturation.
That was Legend though, not the new canon. We have no hint of the Cuy'val Dar
I wonder if Omega ever met Skaak Ti, they were on Kaminno together
Love this topic.
Your video got me thinking about did shaak Ti know know about ogmea , that she was force s.
Dam she’s tall
Luminous beings are we.
Very nice
Mace windus sudden temporary trust in Anakin failed him.
shaak ti is what the buick regal was intending to portray.
Shaak is the embodiment of a single turbo V6
I believe Obi-Wan prioritised Coruscant to avoid being emotionaly disturbed by what had happend on Mandalore. Maybe sending troops there would feel like a vengeance against Maul and he was scared of that.
Why didn't I see Boba in Andor
So I says to her: Baby, you and me could really...
whenever they need to place the blame on someone they use Shaak Ti.
What ? They were trained by mandalorians not jedi.
They dont want them to be too attached to jedi for when the order comes in.
Makes me wonder if shaaak ti treated her padawans in a similar manner.
Short answer: Because she is awesome.
Generation Tech W
Why doesn't kamino have more sea life
That thumbnail is crazy though
What did the dolphins do? 😂
Nice
Whatever happened to that rival group of cadets from that rookie arc with domino squad.
Truly wild
Hey Alan big fan here. Since you love Star Wars have ever considered making your own Star Wars movie ?
Also according to google translate the force smells like cabbages for some reason.
aaaahhh Shaak ti, the motherof a thousand deaths
Idk why, but when he said husband and father I was kinda taken aback
Everyone loves mom-Ti 😂
Did Ahsoka’s mother going hunting with her baby by herself annoy anyone else?
It did. Ahsoka's mother was not the sharpest tool in the shed.
If this is the case it makes sense that Shaak ti found her way to Felucia in the Force Unleashed. Such a vibrant and huge ecosystem on the planet that works with the native Felucians
Lumpypatato was here
The Dr. Halsey of Star Wars
Is the advanced aging really that bad in a galaxy filled with different species with different lifespans? Yoda lived 900 years, so is it bad that humans only live for 80 or so? Surely there are species with even shorter lifespans.
Thinking about why Kaminoins Didn't go after boba because he was in jail . But why couldn't they visit him and take some DNA.
Maybe emperal prison policy.
But . How fast was prison system to change. And why Didn't the writers put Boba in Andor
Why would they? Star Wars is big. The Imperial prison system is big. It makes no sense to run into familiar faces often.
Dolphins' evil? hard to say.. I mean they're friendly for the most part to Humans but yeah, they are not the kind of critters you want to make an enemy out of because they are Ruthless.
a new set?
Caminoans? Kaminoans? Yeah I don't think they see any species or clone as deserving of equal respect 😅
Palpatine a Sith mastermind HAH! Look at how he handled the Galactic Empire's army after the fall of the Republic.
Microphone keeps rubbing against your overshirt. Good video but hard to listen to once you notice.
Obi-Wan was the ideal War Time Jedi not born for peace. Obi-Wan was a slow learner but was a gifted warrior and leader that loved the fight. He had a perfect Form 3 but he almost quit a year before EP1 because he couldn't do the basics like force heal. Obi-Wan wouldn't have become a Master in peace time, he rose through the ranks because he was good spy and effective in combat.
Hey Dolphin friend here . 🙃
The most I got from this is, dolphins are evil??
Why don't you like dolphins lol? I have not been watching long enough apparently.
9:43 actually more mace's steadfast belief in the senate/republic failed him
Just me or does Alan sound sad or down?
They were worried about her getting killed for the fifth time
Nice Windsor was blinded by rules and regulations end the factory set up about the chosen one left them with a grudge can't believe it in Coral calls as where was there truly downfall ❤❤❤❤
Since when do older sisters provide away from you to be more emotional am I experiencing the only thing an older sister gives you is trauma because she's trying to kill you every single day of your life because she didn't want you to be born in the first place because you were born male and not a female
