He's a Pet Badger. We expect nothing less from him :) I've always appreciated his bass playing also he's a unique member of Extreme. It would affect the sound if he was not in the band.
It's awesome to see them back making music...but don't kid yourself, this won't be picked up by "the mainstream". This genre of music is now a niche for us older folks.

Gary's voice is clear as a crystal despite he being over 60, Nuno's shredding, singing AND moving as his 20s, what a time to be alive. I feel younger in my 30's and I do hope younger guys and girls can rock out to this in their bedroom as I did in my days.
At this point, I listen to Extreme just to hear what Nuno has in store for us this time.... incredible talent to this day! And I did not expect Gary to still be killing it so hard on vocals. He kept his voice in good shape
Call me crazy but I think these fellas are leaps and bounds better than they were 30 years ago. Hell, they were amazing back then, so, whatever they have all been up to it was a good idea to do. This album is going to be so good I just about can't take the anticipation of having to wait anymore.
Holy mother of ... this is stunning. Rise was mostly about Nuno's solo, but this is just a brilliant band effort with Gary showing the world he's still one of the greatest vocalists.
Exactly my reaction...."Holy mother f$#%"😁"Gary singing and power belting is insane. a mix of powerful Head and chest voice, love the balance because some singers rely on falsetto on high notes (like some cat-screeching sounding vocalists like Axl Rose😂), while others can sing only low deep pitch (like Scott Weiland and Anthony Kiedis) yet cant scream that high- But Gary can do both effortlessly as the song require. Very versatile singer, also has some great moves like MC Hammer can also dance when needed. 😄Just the total package. My Favorite front man of All Time! Gary and Extreme rules!👍

Cool you said that. I read a few years ago that Gary was asked to be the lead singer of Audioslave, but he stayed with Extreme and Chris Cornell got the job. I don't know if this story is completely true, but they both have great power and vocal control. Chris had.

Just sounds like he’s got tons more punch, an even greater range, and his vibrato is way more to my liking. I’m not sure about comparing him to Chris Cornell though… love Cornell, and he’s just a different singer, and has a different voice imho.
This band has always been immensely talented. It’s time they finally get the spotlight they so deserve amongst some of the great rock groups. We desperately needed actual music like this again with musicians playing real interments and vocalists that can actually sing with the depth that Gary does.
Extreme´s new songs are like dream come true for all Extreme fans. Their new songs lift them back to mean-rock-riff-glory as they were in the golden 90´s. They´re just more mature, more nasty, more tasty and even more capable of ripping those hard songs with incredible solos. Great comeback! Just great!
Nuno was already an expert soloist… but the heavier darker tones is refreshing versus the popular music out there… Mammoth WVH sound is also reminiscent of the rocking 90s (the non glam band)… It’s too bad Eddie Van Halen died before being able to have his son to be the opening act for the band… His son really can sing… may not yet be able to create a memorable solo like the dad, but that’s also a good thing… his music stands on its own
I haven't been this excited about a new album in a long time. Literally like a kid again and I am 53...... they all sound just incredible as a unit. But Nuno, dear lordy that man is not human........
One of the things I have always really loved about Extreme are the vocal harmonies. They have always been so much more complex, and enjoyable than other rock / metal bands. Glad to see that has not been lost on this new release!
Extreme is ramming the door down with riffs, shred, and musicianship! 🤘🤘🤘 No cut and paste, no autotune cuz real music isn’t played by or written like/by a computer‼️
This band never lets me down…good grief they sound absolutely fantastic!!! That solo from Nuno had so much feel and power. It was a master class on bending. Everyone is firing on all cylinders. Can’t wait for this album!!!
wow!!! it punches you in the face from the very beginning and doesn't stop and I like it!! The sound is tight, Gary's voice is great and we all knew Nuno was a BEAST and here it is on display once again. So far three great tracks from this album and I can't wait to hear the rest. This is what great rock/hard rock music should be and Extreme lead by example. And we have had three amazing guitar solos in these three songs. Thank you Nuno for having the balls to bring back the guitar solo. Extreme has ALWAYS been a great band that writes great songs and this album might be their best ever and that is saying something considering their body of work so far. Thanks guys for the great music!!
These new singles are so hard. I didn't realize it had been 15 years since Extreme released a new album. The whole band is in top form, but Nuno is proficient as ever and Gary is absolutely killing it, really pushing his voice to the limit on the new songs. It's a good time to get back into Extreme.

These Guys came back with alot to say! I have been a fan since I heard Kid Ego and have embraced everything they have done. What an Epic song!😮 everything is great: riffing, arrangement, song structure....but what really blew me away is Gary's phenomenal and powerful vocals. (the range, the power, the clarity, the vibrato...just beautiful to listen.) love the 1:14 to 1:16 part - "talking the walk!"...sounds like a heavy metal God, the voice just explodes!,💥 then my favorite part the breathtaking unison at 2:22 to 2:39 were Gary sings the guitar solo before Nuno proceeds to do some classic Pantera sounding riffage.🤘#Rebel is a mind blowing song. will be looping this non stop to support you guys! EXTREMEly good!💯

This song kicks my ass all up and down the street. Everyone killed this. Gary's vocals are perfect here. Pat Badger's playing was great and his backing vocals were killer as always. Kevin's drumming is superb. ...and, then - there was Nuno. That solo along with Gary's vocals at the start was masterfully crafted and executed.

I think one of the best compliments you can give a guitarist is that it makes you want to pick up the guitar and get better. Nuno has that effect on me. Of course I will never be able to play like him, but if I will be able to play a little better than I can now, it will also be because of him. Thank you man, you are a true inspiration.

The entire band is on fire for this song! Gary's singing is out of this world! Pat and KFigg lay down such a heavy and intense groove! And of course Nuno absolutely kills it with his solo! Please make this a regular part of your live set!

It is hard to make every solo unique when you play so many guitar solos in your band, in your solo career and for other artists. BUT for Nuno it´s a piece of cake. Every solo is so unique and made of genius.
Best one yet This is the sound of a super talented band who had an epiphany. They are old, they don't need to be hip, they just need to be good, and they are. There is no radio playlist to worry about, no need to write songs for people who aren't really into music, no scene to fit into. People know who they are, so just do the best you can while you can. Awesome.
You co-wrote these tracks? With who, if you don’t mind me asking. I’m near 50yo and roughly remember Gary and Nuno co-writing (at least according to the liner notes). This song is stunning! Everything about it blows my mind; that incredible driving riff that kicks the track off, the powerful and intense vocals from Gary, the brilliant and explosive bass and drums, and that solo from Nuno is just sublime, even better than the solo from Rise, if that is even possible! Can't get enough of this song. The three tracks they've already released are amazing, I can't wait to hear the rest of the new album in June now. WHAT A BRILLIANT COMEBACK FROM EXTREME.
This is by far, for me, the best material they've released since 3 Sides to Every Story, which is so underrated and is my all time favourite Album, loving it 😁

This band never lets me down…good grief they sound absolutely fantastic!!! That solo from Nuno had so much feel and power. It was a master class on bending. Everyone is firing on all cylinders. Can’t wait for this album!!!
wow!!! it punches you in the face from the very beginning and doesn't stop and I like it!! The sound is tight, Gary's voice is great and we all knew Nuno was a BEAST and here it is on display once again. So far three great tracks from this album and I can't wait to hear the rest. This is what great rock/hard rock music should be and Extreme lead by example. And we have had three amazing guitar solos in these three songs. Thank you Nuno for having the balls to bring back the guitar solo. Extreme has ALWAYS been a great band that writes great songs and this album might be their best ever and that is saying something considering their body of work so far. Thanks guys for the great music!!

These new singles are so hard. I didn't realize it had been 15 years since Extreme released a new album. The whole band is in top form, but Nuno is proficient as ever and Gary is absolutely killing it, really pushing his voice to the limit on the new songs. It's a good time to get back into Extreme.

These Guys came back with alot to say! I have been a fan since I heard Kid Ego and have embraced everything they have done. Always unexpected as far as sound and emotion, But this new Album is Bombastic! In Your face Raw and knocking your teeth out! I applaud You Extreme! You Guys Never Dissapoint!!!!!!!!

What an Epic song!😮 everything is great: riffing, arrangement, song structure....but what really blew me away is Gary's phenomenal and powerful vocals. (the range, the power, the clarity, the vibrato...just beautiful to listen.) love the 1:14 to 1:16 part - "talking the walk!"...sounds like a heavy metal God, the voice just explodes!,💥 then my favorite part the breathtaking unison at 2:22 to 2:39 were Gary sings the guitar solo before Nuno proceeds to do some classic Pantera sounding riffage.🤘#Rebel is a mind blowing song. will be looping this non stop to support you guys! EXTREMEly good!💯
Fantastic song🔥🔥🔥 Love Nuno’s guitar work as alway and am completely blown away by Gary’s vocal performance! The harmonies were the cherry on top, not to forget about Gary singing the the guitar solo. So great!
This song kicks my ass all up and down the street. Everyone killed this. Gary's vocals are perfect here. Pat Badger's playing was great and his backing vocals were killer as always. Kevin's drumming is superb. ...and, then - there was Nuno. That solo along with Gary's vocals at the start was masterfully crafted and executed.
Watched this 5 times in a row…Love that double kick, Pat’s bass line, Nuno…fuhgeddaboddit-speaks for itself, and Gary singin his balls off…minga!!

I think one of the best compliments you can give a guitarist is that it makes you want to pick up the guitar and get better. Nuno has that effect on me. Of course I will never be able to play like him, but if I will be able to play a little better than I can now, it will also be because of him. Thank you man, you are a true inspiration.

This will be hit for sure, stellar hard driving musical performance with killer vocals and chorus. Love that guys my age are rocking it out on this level. Extreme has always been a great band, now they are showing it for a new generation.

This song is stunning! Everything about it blows my mind; that incredible driving riff that kicks the track off, the powerful and intense vocals from Gary, the brilliant and explosive bass and drums, and that solo from Nuno is just sublime, even better than the solo from Rise, if that is even possible! Can't get enough of this song. The three tracks they've already released are amazing, I can't wait to hear the rest of the new album in June now. WHAT A BRILLIANT COMEBACK FROM EXTREME.
This is by far, for me, the best material they've released since 3 Sides to Every Story, which is so underrated and is my all time favourite Album, loving it 😁
