I found Brian's approach was the worst part of the song. Disappointing. I think he was sort of talking thru it and not really singing? I love all the guys on this song, and I know and love the song. But in my opinion, it didnt work. I'd like to hear a version where Brian really sings it. Even if he sings it low, slow, whispers, whatever... this song with him singing should be brilliant. But it's just not.
Do you listen to blues much?
@@SoxonTV Brian lost his voice... or used it all up. AC/DC was never an easy gig for a singer.
Bon Scott set the bar high... none better.
@@JoeGator23 yeah, it's interesting how different singers have handled that problem. Vince Neil sounds like shit. Axl changed-up his style and seems to be making it work and Robert Plant just sort of whispers the high notes and he sounds amazing!
@@john3music yeah, one of my favorite genres. I own all the of the Chess Records and Alligator Box Sets. Love Robert Johnson, Willie Dixon, I saw and met Stevie Ray Vaughan, got to see and hang out with Pat Benatar at her "True Love" Blues concert. I love all the harp players... I wrote/directed a Stageplay about Blues being the Roots of Rock and Just saw Buddy Guy again recently. I know they often sing/talk but it's often over an acoustic guitar, maybe thumpin' their foot for bass? I'm not against any style or show of creativity. Just to my ears, his delivery didnt work on this particular song. And I like him so much, I just would've liked to hear it more simpatico?
Brian's voice is soooooo better this way...and Steven is coming back!!! Great band!!! Well done!!! Can't wait to check the full album!!! Salute from Brazil!!!
Look up Geordie
These guys totally kill this ! Brian sounds amazing !
Man, Slash, Brian and Steven playing one of my favourite blues of all time by the late Howlin' Wolf... Beautiful
The drummer is a BEAST!!! 🔥
Who is he?
@@suzanneemerson2625 Michael Jerome
@@suzanneemerson2625 Wikipedia might've nailed it. According to them it's a certain Michael Jerome: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jerome I never heard of him, but I have very little knowledge of drummers. In any case based on this he's a hell of a musixian
@@suzanneemerson2625g-man Sullivan
Totally agree 👏
Never knew Steven could play the Harmonica so well!
Love listening to Slash play!!
Bryans Voice is awesome!
Everybody is jammin!
you crearly dont know Aerosmith...
"Something's Gotta Give" is a good showcase of Steven's harp prowess.
@@willburke5843 yessss. Also, Cryin’. My second favorite harp solo behind Robert Plant’s Nobody’s Fault But Mine
Loving seeing all these guys performing within their current abilities instead of trying to pretend its still the 80s or 90s. Brian's bluesy "clean" voice is a fun listen even without the gravel that made him famous in AC/DC. Slash and the rest of the band were great, too. With Tyler's vocal chops being history, he can still honk on Bobo.
Awesome work from Steven on the harmonica. Brian sounds amazing, Slash seems to have a completely different sound on this one, and that's terrific. So good!
That was absolutely incredible. Imagine how cool you have to be to bring in Steven Tyler, not to sing, but for a harmonica solo. Didn't know Brian Johnson could sing like that, but he did not disappoint. I honestly loved this song, can't wait for the rest of the album!
I was NOT expecting that voice from Brian Johnson. More of this.
Listen to goodbye love from when he sang on Geordie
He sounds amazing.
I was about to say, you've not heard Geordie, have you? :) He sounds totally different in that band than he did with AC/DC, and honestly? I like the way he sounds here and with Geordie a lot more.
@@MaskedRiderChrisis that a side band?
@@MaskedRiderChris holy shite it's pre acdc??? why have I never heard of them before today?? 53 damn years old. My entire life has been a lie.
Wow so glad to see 3 legends of rock music killing it in this killer collaboration. Fast paced and kicks ass. Love it.
The last bastion of rock is in this video. Let's not forget these legends
this is soo cool i never mind that i lisyng in this years somtthing new and są that facking good !!
Don't stick with the legendary old school bands, there's still awesome modern bands and artists in Rock.
@@SlrznI know, but they don't have enough weight to fight against modern genres. Airbourne It's a great band for example
@@nicolasruiz3457yeah, that's a popularity issue. Time changes, but also there is nostalgia, people only listen to old bands, radio stations no longer plays rock (except for popular songs). The main riff of this song sounds exactly like Shake for Me by Stevie Ray Vaughn
You are correct, South Australia has may...@@Slrzn
This is why Rock n Roll will never die!!! …so refreshing and looked like everyone was having fun. Love it!!! 💯🔥👊🏼
For real.
This is just gold. Honestly this combination of artists who don't sound like who they are, is simply wonderful
Okay, this was unexpected in my feed.
Brian, certainly has blues soul. Slash clearly has the chops, and Tyler, I had no idea he could blow harp like that.
A pleasant surprise!
All the quality of great musicians of the highest level. Fascinating
Teddy Andreadis On Keys
Hell Yeah......Great Song!!
Yes, its him
Yes Teddy Zig Zag he play's key's for gn'r 92' 93' cool
Noticed that. Amazing
Well spotted mate
That was the highlight for you?Ok.
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve played this song in the past week. A new sound and vibe I just love. 🤟🫶 Slash and Brian Johnson you bloody rock.
This album should win Blues album at all the major awards.
Happiness.
Always said Brian owns a very good voice for the Blues.
Love the tribute to the Wolf n Hubert Sumlin.
I will buy this album.
Thanks for respecting the song and taking it to the greatness that it is! No egos here just doing it right!
No egos because it was recorded several weeks apart in different studios 😂.
nice to see people haven't forgotten about the great Howlin' Wolf.
Damn ... Brian's Voice. I love it.
Slash and Brian covering Howlin' Wolf!?! Fuck yes! I guess this is the reverse of Angus featuring Axl? Steven's the icing on the cake!
Maybe not the reverse but it sure makes up for it 😂
No reverse angle
Fun cover! That switch between harmonica playing and screaming from Steven at 2:10 was soooo badass!
one of his signatures. you should check out the Aerosmith album Honkin on Bobo
Yeh cool as fuck that 👍🏻
Thats the first time I've heard Slash play a solo with great passing notes! Bravo!
Brians voice is beautiful!!!
for sure
Close your eyes and you’ll hear Tom Jones. That’s a compliment.
@@mightyathey really do both have a very robust, slightly gravelly baritone singing voice. So much power and richness
you should listen Brian singing a song of a Sting album, this I believe is from 2013 but with clear voice, th-cam.com/video/oK8qzQhjta0/w-d-xo.html
Dude i actually dug this and seeing Steven slide in unexpectedly with that harmonica put the biggest smile on my face...keep rocking boys!
This is probably one of the first songs I’ve heard in like 20 years, where I here it for the first time and I rewind the guitar solo like 10 times lol. Slash is the man ❤
Such a typical slash solo too, instantly get gnr flashbacks
I have a new found respect for slashes guitar playing. This was just fuckin epic.
Brian is Killin' it!!!❤❤❤
Man, I wish my dad was here to see this. Fabulous.
this is not Slash feat. Brian Johnson, but this is The Legend of Rock feat. The Legend of Rock
With an easter egg participation of another The Legend of Rock
This is so great, Slash is a great blues guitarist and stays true to the legends before him, so great to see him performing with Steven Tyler, and Brian Johnson. The blues needs to be heard and appreciated by all ages. So glad Slash released an all blues album, covering some of the blues greats. Definitely cant wait to get this album.
You're the only one who knew that Steven Tyler is in the video!
This is part of an all-blues album? Freaking stoked for it then because this has been missing from my life too long. I'm such a fan of this bluesy rock genre and I agree, Slash is right in that pocket. Any person that thinks he's "overrated" must go fly a freaking kite, the guy is so talented.
@@TheSchemel I came to the comments to make sure it was him. 😄 He's not even in the credits.
Steven Tyler ❤
Can really appreciare Slash's raw talent for blues guitar on this track. Love it !!!
Slash-🤯what more can I say? The man is a living legend.
What a fantastic collaboration! Great musicianship with Brian’s vocals with a dash of Steven’s harmonica equals an homage to Howlin’ Wolf - play it loud!!!
Man and this is just one song, i can't wait to hear the full album this is gonna be awesome😁🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻. It's always a pleasure to hear Brian, 76 years of pure rock n roll
It's always great to see the legendary Brian Johnson!
Guy playing harmonica should start a band. He is killing it.
