As a New Yorker, have to say I'm impressed with that bagel! It's so challenging to get a decent one outside of NY, and yours looked great! The pizza though, well, not so much. NY pizza has thin crust and is blistery from intense heat in the pizza oven. Mutton isn't common or iconic of NY, but as you noted, we've got folks from all over here, very diverse, and everyone brings their food along with them. You can find pretty much everything in one or another neighborhood in NY. The cheesecake looked pretty good. NY style (really Brooklyn, Junior's cheesecake) is very creamy and rich. It's also made with cream cheese, same as the bagel. Niagra Falls is in the western part of NY State, on the border with Canada, which has the other, even more beautiful section of the falls known as the Horseshoe Falls. The Finger Lakes are in central upstate NYS, and are (in part) a remnant of the ice age. What you showed was actually Watkins Glen, which is in that general region, but not part of the Finger Lakes per se. The lakes themselves are long, narrow, and run pretty much parallel to each other, like the fingers on a hand. Despite the average colder climate in this part of NYS, but because of the geology and somewhat moderating influence of the lakes, the Finger Lakes became NY's first grape and wine growing area. (Eastern Long Island, with its moderate, maritime climate, has now surpassed it, in terms of the type and quality of wine grapes that can be grown.) Central Park is in the middle of Manhattan, NYC, which is downstate NY State. It was actually designed by architects in the late 1850s to look beautifully natural, a haven from the dense, bustling city that was rapidly encroaching northward and growing up around it. New York State is a great place to live...and visit!!
Watkins Glen is part of the Finger Lakes😂😂😂what are you talking about? Are you a downstater? I am originally from Geneva, and Watkins Glen is at the southern tip of Seneca Lake, the longest and the deepest lake of The Finger Lakes😅😅
Yes. You are right about almost everything. I’ve walked watkins glen, because I live one lake over in Ithaca NY. We have a lot of gorges and waterfalls here. We say “Ithaca is gorges!”
@@hgodvilla00 What I meant, for those unfamiliar with the area, is that the image shown on screen was not exactly one of the lakes, but instead was Watkins Glen. Yes, it's river empties into Seneca Lake, but is not part of the lake per se. Watkins Glen is at higher altitude and descends down (with all those stunning waterfalls!❤️) to meet the lake. So it's in the region (maybe I should have said "area"), but it's not the lake itself.
I was surprised that Mama liked the cheesecake, but maybe it was easier for him to eat than other things they've tried. He really looks tired today, hope he's okay.
The "cheese" that is used in the cheesecake filling, is the same type of cheese that was on the bagels they tried. Cream cheese is very different from the cheese used for burgers and pizza, etc. It's a creamy style of cheese, made from cows milk and it's used in a wide variety of sweet dishes and savory ones. Because it's relatively bland, it's very versatile and can be combined with all types of other ingredients. For instance, the cream cheese that Westerners spread on bagels and other kinds of breads, can be left just as it is or it can be mixed with green onions or chives for an onion-y flavor, or it can be combined with jam or cut up fresh fruits to make it sweet. In shops where they sell bagels, it's up to the person who is eating the bagel to decide whether they want a sweet cream cheese or a savory/salty cream cheese on their bagel. I think it'd be great to show the participants how different types of cheeses are made and what those different cheeses are most commonly used for. That way, they'd understand that it's not the same cheese that's used in every one of the different dishes they try. ☺️ (PS: for future reference, it's not "cream AND cheese". It's simply cream cheese.😉)
Yes!!! Cheesecake! It is not the healthiest, but it is very delicious!!! A treat to have!!! I love this channel, the crew, and the guests! ❤😊❤ Thank you Naseeba!!!

People already think we are all rich, but most of us are just getting by like anyone else in tge world, and would never dream of wasting that kund of money on a cake evsn if we could....thats for millionaires.
We aren't really known for mutton chops, though we do have it in some restaurants. We have immigrants from all over the globe here, and they bring their food styles with them, with restaurants representing those places. We eat all different nations food styles here. There was one comment in the video that it seemed we here live in the future. In some respects it might seem true. I think it might be just as accurate to say we live with more technology, perhaps. In our cities it's very different than in your villages. Yet, I keep in mind that all peoples desire the same basic things, health, non-poverty, healthy food, fulfilling lives, we just have different expressions of these same desires. I'm probably not explaining it as well as I'd like to. Central Park, one of many in the New York City, is a lovely place. It's safe enough in daylight, when it's crowded. It's not quite as safe at night. That said, it's nothing like how the movies make it seem. Put that image of crime out of your mind. It's not like that. What you see in films is exaggerated. New York State is very large. It has many kinds of terrain, from rural mountain areas, farm land, towns, villages, small and large cities.
I have a couple random thoughts on this video: I wonder if they knew that the bagels are a Jewish cultural bread that has become super popular with everyone. I assumed that was turkey or chicken pepperoni. You guys did a great job preparing the dishes.
I guarantee that these folks are not here for political commentary. If anything, I've noticed that they avoid it, as do the other tribal channels that I'm subscribed to. If you look into the tribal reaction channel genre, you'll find that the reason many of these channels were created was specifically to build cultural bridges and hopefully overcome any division that has existed in the past. And TBH, bagels are not exclusive to any one culture. There are many types of breads from different cultures that have different names, shapes and preparation methods, but they use the same or very similar ingredients and in some cases, cooking methods. It just happens to be that bagels have been associated with Jewish culture in NY City for years because so many Jewish delicatessens offer them. But that doesn't make them exclusively Jewish food. ☺️
@burntupretardporn I really hate agreeing with someone with your username, but absolutely! So many things came from the Americas that people don't know about: potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, Corn, pumpkins, beans, quinoa, cocoa, tobacco,... Hello, just FYI, we really don't eat mutton chops commonly in the states. It may be an obscure item on some menu in a random NYC restaurant but it's we don't really eat it like in other countries. In the US, it's normally beef or chicken or pork.
The US is 1/3 of a continent. I admit it's not as prolific, but we definitely eat lamb/mutton here 😂. Mutton is certainly less popular than lamb is, but you can buy lamb at most Wal-Marts.
Yes, but it is a traditional dish that has history in NY... may not be very fashionable these days, but it's part of the history and culture of an NYC institution.
@@toolbaggers It's not even representative of New York State: all the foods they ate are specific to New York CITY. Major problem, since the video missed foods that originated in the rest of the state. www.iloveny.com/blog/post/famous-and-unique-foods-to-try-in-new-york-state Even that list ignored the donut made famous by Krispy Kreme . . . its assembly line was pioneered in the City of Buffalo. First paragraph: "We also do not eat mutton chops. Ever.' Second paragraph: "We have all the foods though. We have people from all over the world, so we have food from all over the world.".....huh???
A guy in their village made the Statue of Liberty out of mud? I’m more interested in seeing that than the real one 😂
I woukd so love for them to try some New Orleans classics some day, really bold and diverse flavors. I'll scroll after I comment tonmake sure I didnt miss it lol
Good programme. But, the music in the background, starts to grate.
Mehboob your English is getting really good!
I swear im going to start eating my bagels with a finger in the middle, thats makes so much sense. Why have i been cutting mine?! Lol
I must agree, Pizza isn't supposed to fall apart when folded!
Enjoy your culinary experience with NY State food items!
Hello from Virginia USA
That woman is learning English, good for her. 😃
That pizza is terrible, whoever made it. It is not supposed to fall apart when it is folded to eat. NY pizza can be folded and eaten with no problems.
Ah come on it wasn't that bad. I've had pizza that falls apart. It looked good still
The pizza was underbaked and the dough was too thick, we’re allowed to criticize their cooking of our food!

Btw the Bagwell with cream cheese looked the best. And mehboob English is being really good
Brave people, lol
I have never seen anyone eat mutton chops anywhere and I live 1.5 hrs by car from NYC
Even after the crappiest of day, these lovely people always turn my frown upside down. :) Thank you. I'll eat everything but the mutton -- Blegh! 🤢
I rediscovered this channel ❤❤❤❤
real
One good thing well have are bagels with sliced lunch meat with melted cream cheese and cheese from the microwave in between which sure are good. I love onion bagels or poppy seed bagels too
Cream cheese is just processed dairy short of turning into literal CHEESE
i love various flavors of cream cheese
I got a bagel at an event in NYC. It had lox on it . I took one bite and turned green. I really do not like fish. The bagels and cream cheese in NYC are amazing . I have never found any as good .
Is there no greater food compliment than when Mustafa eats a 2nd bite :) I like cheesecake too but it's so heavy that you should eat it many hours after diner.
😁
The most famous of all American snacks os the twinkee you will get 50 thousand views
Where is Ali from?
Mutton chops😂 That is a new one. I don’t think that is served in New York or anywhere else in the United States as a common thing.
Nice
Please show them the other beautiful places in America. Most think of California, Texas, New York or Florida. We have some many other wonderful places with awesome foods.
And nigerian fufu w/egossi!!!. Thats west african food!!!. Sooo delicious❤❤❤❤❤❤
8:08 as soon as I saw that gold I knew the price would be insane
They looking to try another country, can't wait to see them try East African countries food insha Allah. Let's goo!!!
imagine how impressed they'd be with REAL NY pizza. also mutton is not a NY food unless you're at the Renaissance Fair
How Niagara falls shifted to New York ? last time i checked it was in Canada
An american favorite is the same but also with some thin sliced meat in it also
❤❤❤
Yes we do eat roti ❤❤❤❤❤..trinidadian( west indian) roti and east indian roti..a lot too!!!!!! Let them try haitian or jamaican or trinidadian food next!!!!. Theyll love it!!!
We do eat roti bread in America, we just call it by a different name, here it is called tortilla. Excellent video 👍👍😊.
Tortillas aren’t roti.
From preparation to ingredients.
Taste the same looks the same.
You should make them try more arab foods! I’m arab and enjoy these videos 🇵🇸
You hope the inside is as beautiful as the outside?!?!
Honey….that IS the inside!
I wish you would clarify that 99.9& of Americsns could never afford that $5000 cheesecake either. People already think we are all rich, but most of us are just getting by like anyone else in tge world, and would never dream of wasting that kund of money on a cake evsn if we could....thats for millionaires.
Mustafa is so wise. I was wondering if he’s Sindhi?
Thank you so much for the informative comment. Cheers! :)
Mama, Mansoor, Mehboob, andNaseeba 🎉🤙🏼💚🏵️
And Raadha ❤😊
It’s cream cheese, not cream and cheese. It’s an American version of Neufchâtel without the rind.
New york pizza is second to the cheapest frozen pizzas at the local supermarket !
I have a couple random thoughts on this video: I wonder if they knew that the bagels are a Jewish cultural bread that has become super popular with everyone. I assumed that was turkey or chicken pepperoni. You guys did a great job preparing the dishes.
most likely beef. also why single out the Jews? all NYC food is 'cultural.'
yeah they would spit it out if they knew unfortunately.
@@burntupretardporn wrong. 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
No lox on the bagel?
Pizza is Italian.
@burntupretardporn I really hate agreeing with someone with your username, but absolutely! So many things came from the Americas that people don't know about: potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, Corn, pumpkins, beans, quinoa, cocoa, tobacco,... I don't know what people were eating in Europe years and years ago, besides celery.
Definitely need a redu of the pizza
And the donuts too. They were obviously old and they had no tea to go with
The lady with all the bangles is so beautiful.
They put gold leaf on that expensive cheesecake. Now these people think we spend $5000 for a regular cheesecake 😂 i can buy one at Aldi for like 8$ and it's several different flavors
Don't mind the haters, of course you are trying your best. I'm sure they cant cook an edible Karahi or Roti, so they shouldn't talk.
Keep doing what you are doing. You are spreading goodness in a difficult world. Thank you.
That would be the point, if someone made Karahi or Roti wrong or poorly, I hope they would critique it in some way
@@JT-np1op your point isn't welcome.

Am I the only person from NY that has eaten sheep? It’s delicious with mint jelly.
Should have had some buffalo wings. Other than pizza probably their most famous food.
Hi everyone
I don't like cheese but the cheesecake is great
As a New Yorker, I would say that that pizza does not look like New York Pizza.
There are many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants that serve lamb in NYC, but they usually serve it off the bone.
Yes, but it is a traditional dish that has history in NY... may not be very fashionable these days, but it's part of the history and culture of an NYC institution.
This is why they said this a NOT a representation of the entire US but only NY state. 🤦♀🤦♂
@@toolbaggers It's not even representative of New York State: all the foods they ate are specific to New York CITY. Major problem, since the video missed foods that originated in the rest of the state.
www.iloveny.com/blog/post/famous-and-unique-foods-to-try-in-new-york-state
Even that list ignored the donut made famous by Krispy Kreme . . . its assembly line was pioneered in the City of Buffalo.
And, the cocktail supposedly was served for the first time in Lewiston, north of Niagara Falls. Not that Tribal people would ever imbibe, of course!
Try Egypt food
Hi, we have tried Egyptian food. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/_cFNOdeXcPA/w-d-xo.html
They’re so cute 😂
I volunteer to try roti, if you come to America.
As an American, I would love to check out middle eastern countries. The reality is, it is not safe for me to go there and its a shame. You would have a lot of tourism if you get rid of the terrorists. I love the show!
These people are not from the Middle East, I believe they are Pakistani.
A real treat for them would be authentic New Haven Pizza. That is the worlds best pizza. It is a treat for all.
